Made a very last minute reservation for afternoon tea, but they were very accommodating. The staff were friendly and helpful, really good atmosphere, food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place, and will definitely be going back myself!

Interesting decor in a fashionable setting. Cocktails at the bar were served in a professional manner. Dinner was OK, but they run out of a couple of things and then forgot to bring one of the orders. Only British staples are served. I left underwhelmed.

We had a great time. Very helpful staff and lovely rooms. Really good room amenities! Definitely recommend.

So good! Bit of a hidden treasure. Come for the afternoon tea. It’s £8 and you’ll get a hearty serving of scones, clotted cream, jam and tea, in a really cool setting. Highly recommend coming here if you’ve got visitors in town who need a real British hit of afternoon tea / experience.

Great food, amazing atmosphere and polite staff. Would highly recommend this place. Portions are a little small for my personal liking but the taste more than makes up for it. Popular choice in the area and can get quite busy. I would book in advance!

Had the pleasure of being served by Alberto tonight. Not only did he make us feel unbelievably welcome, he was kind and catered to our every need. Count yourself lucky if you've been served by him!

Restaurant/bar spaces are always rammed. The food is generally pretty good, but perhaps a bit pricey for what you're getting. Love all the Soho house spaces though as they are all very cosy and well curated.

All in all had a pretty good time here. The atmosphere was lovely — candles and crazy photos on the walls make it a bit fun. Food was pretty good but perhaps a bit overpriced. The waiter was attentive. We definitely left feeling full and happy, and also enjoyed the wine selection.

I had brunch at Dean Street Townhouse (brunch starts at 12pm btw) to celebrate a friend's birthday. Central location, amazingly nice food, great service and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend going.

Great hotel in Soho. Lovely rooms. Only downside the sink faucets separated. Very nice Great Restaurant.

We went for the "afternoon tea" it's great to try at "tea time" in a very British place to enjoy tea and scones. Staff a little cold or BCBG.

Trendy, buzzing place. City meets theatreland. Fun and doubles as an upbeat client entertainment venue. If you want a quiet time boojk via telephone and choose the low seating area. The table turnover quickly so drop in is also possible (with an inevitable wait at the bar)

Good for a drink when it's quiet. Great to sit outside under heaters. Not great when it's busy. Food is not consistent.

Wonderful breakfast, tables with room to breathe. Great service team friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Wide range of juices and smoothies, good coffee. Poached eggs perfect.

Food was good and the building is nice. The service was good as well, but the tables are really next to each other, it almost feels like sitting on a bench with other people… It would be cool if it was meant to be as such… But it's not given the place does not have that atmosphere. Reason for 1 star is that they pressure you to be quick and ask you to leave to free up the table … Literally! They make you feel like a cow to be milked I could accept it if it was incredible good value for the money, but it is really not the case. I do not recommend it.

Went in there for my birthday recently and was treated to a free shot! Really great staff and a lovely bay. The espresso martini's were out of this world too. Very highly recommended.

We had a couple of bottles of wine here after most other places nearby had closed and we loved it, very chilled atmosphere with good wine selection and reasonably priced. Music and service both good too. If you're looking for somewhere fairly chilled out in the heart of Soho to have a drink I definitely recommend this bar.

Nice afternoon tea set and great atmosphere. The sandwiches and scones are amazing but the desserts are way below expectations. Good afternoon tea experience in general:)

From our welcome at the door until it was time to leave, the service was excellent. There is a definite buzz in the restaurant that creates a great atmosphere. Although, the table was time limited, we were not rushed in any way and were offered extra coffees long after the time had expired. We will be back!

Boutique hotel restaurant with a great atmosphere. Open fire seating available. Small but good quality breakfast menu. Excellent juices+smoothies.

Went for dinner here before going to the Soho Theatre, we did not have a reservation but were able to get a table. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I loved the atmosphere in here very old school look but a great place for food or drinks.

Just attended for drinks. We were welcomed to the bar even though it was busy. Food going past looked amazing and will definitely come back to dine here. Service was quick and friendly.

Good service and good food, modern European brasserie style. Tried the meats, worth it and nice for the price. Good scene too.

We had a reservation in the restaurant and some time that we wanted to use to look at the hotel — no rooms, just the entrance area… I haven't seen a sooo incredibly rude receptionist like here for a long time. She was annoyed by the fact that we entered the hotel in the first place. And then also the naughty ness of asking questions.
Since I like the restaurant very much and know the service there quite differently, I was surprised by this extremely opposite behavior. Consideration of whether you should be able to do so next time. Here could or can stay overnight Making it a recommendation for friends was then discarded quite quickly.
Too bad, because the hotel itself seems to be quite nice… perhaps the hotel employee can look a little more away from her colleagues in the restaurant — would certainly make things easier for her. No one likes Miesepeter, more away than colleagues and even less than "hosts".

Exceptional food. Price is higher than average, but it's really worth it for a treat. The food is special. Service is excellent and gave me a treat for my birthday, which earned my boyfriend and the restaurant some extra brownie points.

Really nice place, food is well prepared and of a high quality. Seating is cool as well with a living room style dining area as well as an American style bar diner area separate to this.

Sought this place out for scones and wasn't disappointed. Really delicious, and lovely tea to go with them. Service was friendly. Really nice place. I'd go back for drinks and to try their other food.

We asked if we could sit outside and have some drinks and snacks. They gladly had us first. We were just about to order after couple minutes but they told us to leave it because our table were reserved, and another couple came on our place. We were offended. It is the worst thing for a restaurant to ask the guests to leave the table after they were seated. There was no reserved sign on the table. This was literally a discrimination between guests who just drinks and who dines.

Been here a few times and normally have a wonderful time, however the most recent visit (2nd July) we experience poor service. Ordered cocktails first which were not ready till after our starter had been served. Also had ask for water after the starter had been served despite asking for it at the start. The food itself was fantastic like always. We did eventually get the cocktails after our meal, which were on the house for not receiving them to begin with as intended. Another minor problem was that it was difficult to get the attention of staff to get the bill at the end. I'm sure this was just a one-off occurrence but we will see the next time we visit.

I went to Dean Street in April for Afternoon tea and had the most wonderful time. Great service and delicious scones. Highly recommend! (Reservations are recommended)

I went here for breakfast recently. Some people wanted to sit outside in the terrace, but given the 30 degrees heat and the early Soho traffic I opted for the serenity of inside. The staff were attentive, friendly, and polite. I felt very at ease the whole time. The decor was lovely, and the seating was comfortable. One of my favourite things is seeing the ladies have self contained toilet and sink areas, and was thrilled to see it here. The mirrors inside were low quality to encourage make up application to happen in the outer area of the ladies room where there were dressing tables and stools.

Their afternoon tea is great, especially when seated in the "parlour" part of the restaurant. The main part isn't quite as cosy, and the burger and fish & chips we tried from the brunch menu were pretty mediocre.

Gorgeous bar for drinks and love the food here. Breakfast is delicious, and drinking prosecco on the terrace is equally delightful in summer.

In respect of the restaurant only this is a regular spot to visit when in London and visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner each with its different feeling of atmosphere There are a few tables outside but don't recommend the outside in the evening unless you just drinking as you can get pestered a lot by beggars Otherwise indoors for Lunch is a good call and either at the counter or at one of the tables. Good choice on the menu that changes on each visit and with some angling towards old style 'british' food. Very good wine menu Breakfast has become quite popular with the office crowd working in the area and can be busy and noisy. Generally always a good meal here and with a very busy atmosphere — definitely recommended to book in advance if wanting a talk in the back area or near the fireplace — otherwise head they early for lunch and grab a counter seat Good for business, with friends or as a couple.

Food is below mediocre and overpriced for the quality. Choice is limited and not very creative. Will not come here again!

Service was a mixed bag. Good and attentive in places but also very rushed at times. I had a burger which was excellent and the wine was good as well. Very easy to find and general environment is pleasant. Worth a visit for sure but make sure your wallet is ready!

A nice feel inside the hotel although did get very noisy very quickly a it got busy at lunch. Had fish and chips which had a little too much batter for personal tastes but the fish itself was very big and nice.

Arrived late just for drinks and worried it would be closed. Staff were very welcoming and friendly despite the late hour. We sat and had a few rounds. Beautiful atmosphere.

The food was awful and the service too. Food arrived cold, toast cold and no presentation at all. Not worth the money spent. McDonald's breakfast is much better than this.

Drinks were good ah me wine life r extensive. Most of bar staff were great. We had one Bar tender who was unable to smile and was just obstructive and rude. Otherwise… Great place.

Went for Sunday brunch. Good ambiance and excellent bartenders. Cocktails were well done. Ordered the eggs florentine. Came out as eggs Benedict. Bartender sorted it out and we received our proper order after another brief wait. Eggs were fine, nothing special, but acceptable for brunch. Spinach, however, was like rubber. Both of us had ordered the same thing and had the same problem. Impossible to cut, even with a knife. Obviously didn't eat it. When the bartender retrieved our plates, we informed him of the issue. Overall, apologetic and kind, tried to make up with a couple cocktails on the house. We declined and left. Would come back for drinks, but not for food.

Decent food prepared to a good standard. Depending on the time of day you come, service can either be really good or quite manic. The tables outside are nice in good weather, though you are generally a target for buskers and people looking for a bit of change. Try and get a seat in the room to the side of the main room — very cosy and relaxed.

Perfect location. Great service. Only down side is that a tiny room really is tiny! Can't walk around the bed… Other than that, brill room.

There's normally quite a long wait for dinner on a Saturday night but the staff there are incredibly accommodating and they'll do their best to get you a table. The atmosphere is great, good for a date or just quick drinks to escape the madness of soho. The bartenders know their stuff and feel free to let them create a fun cocktail for you.

For breakfast — service was exceptionally slow. The sublime avocado & egg more than compensated For drinks — get a seat at the bar and the cocktails won't disappoint. Recommend the espresso martini.

One of the better upmarket bars in Soho a bit of a hidden gem, can get busy. Food looks nice, but never tried.

If you're vegetarian, don't even bother. The main menu has literally nothing meat free — a shock for a Central London restaurant in the 21st century — so vegetarians are fobbed off with lacklustre "vegetarian menu" consisting of cobbled-together side dishes. Charging through the nose for posh cheese on toast, or cabbage and quinoa, pretty much shows the chef's contempt for non-carnivore diners. Generally a nice ambience, but our party of five was uncomfortably squeezed onto a table for four. Really not an experience I wish to repeat.

If you like indian food please try The Taj Restaurant in 10 Carlton Parade Orpington Kent BR6 0JB open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday 5.30pm to 11.30pm and Sunday 5.30pm to 11.00pm.

A staple of ours, however very disappointing service the last 2 visits. Made the manager aware on our last visit there. Will try it again, hopefully the discussion with the manager on duty was well received. Food was good as always.

Such a sexy little hotel close to Piccadilly Circus, I've never set eyes on a more suave boutique hotel in my life. This is like an understated version of Chuck Bass's Empire Hotel, dark and mysterious. Very tasty bar snacks to go with the equally sexy cocktails they have too. Very impressed with the decor of this place.

Afternoon Tea at the Dean Street Townhouse This most wonderful and British of traditions is only ever luxurious — I mean when else can you drink champagne and eat sandwiches, scones (yes, plural) and cakes at 3 o'clock in the afternoon? I booked my mother and I a table at Dean Street Townhouse for a treat whilst she was visiting; a venue with a classic British menu with both a traditional dining room and, the ultra plush, velvet armchair clad lounge area. I chose here mainly because I pre-empted an afternoon of mooching around central and nipping to Liberty. It turned out to be a really wonderful decision as it was quite possibly the best Afternoon Tea I've had in some years. Lovely fresh sandwiches with tomatoes and salmon and a fancy coronation chicken (all different sandwiches of course), multiple scones with fresh jams and clotted cream and, a marvelous selection of cakes from Battenberg to salted caramel éclairs and lovely cupcakes full of yet more jam. The best part: it comes in at under £20 per person. Yes, you heard me! We had a few extras but I think for a good quality food with a sprinkle of fun and laughter and lots of lovely food and tea what more could you wish for.

Pretty nice. Food was great. What you'd expect for that price. The place was a bit dark, probably for ambience, but seemed a bit dingy. When I was done, the waitress picked up my scrunched up napkin and folder it. A bit weird, but I'd still go back there.

Found this place when looking for a nice weekend breakfast / brunch. The breakfast was delicious and moderately priced. The dining room is a very pleasant place to be in, very classy and beautiful with its wooden panels and decorations. I would highly recommend it, I will definitely go again for lunch or tea.

Expensive and exclusive vibe in a place which feels like a members' club. Not far from so many members' clubs, it's a great place for a business lunch to impress or charm. The traditional British menu is classy and the wine list is extensive. The staff treat everyone so well and are charming. The second room, with snug armchairs is more relaxed than the formal dining room.
