At the northeast corner of Hyde Park you can find the old Marble Arch, an early 19th century triumphal structure designed by John Nash as a state entrance for the Royal family when entering Buckingham Palace. The Marble Arch was relocated in 1851 and today it rests near the Marble Arch Tube Station on Oxford Street at the edge of Hyde Park. It is one of many interesting things to see in this area of London and is worth having a quick look. The similar Wellington Arch can be found on the southeast corner of Hyde Park if you are interested in these type structures.

Lots of benches to sit — tube station exits right in front of it. Kind of sketchy in the early morning as there are a number of homeless out and about, but still safe to run and and explore the area. The arch itself is cool if you are passing by, but I wouldn't recommend making a significant detour to see it as it's just not that exciting on its own. Parking is limited but you could theoretically pay for parking in the park and then walk over. Most all of Hyde park is wheelchair accessible as well and is very easy to get around. No cover so if it is raining outside you will need an umbrella if you want to walk around.

In the evening, the fountains are nearby, illuminated by different colors, beautiful! :)

Nice but always crowded place in the town centre. Here you can see loads street musicians, street performances or other events ongoing. Its picturesque venue.

It is said that the queen found her so ugly that she made her exile where she would see her less. If it is true it is severe because it presents rather well and above all it gives access to the preferred street of a lot of women. So we like it.

Nice Gateway Architecture that you came across while getting into Hyde Park from Oxford Street. Great place to hang around and try your hand at some games like table tennis. Gets pretty busy during the day if the weather is good.

Very nice site, with the Park behind the Ark, to do absolutely especially if the weather is the part.

Is quite nice to look at is easy to reach and does not overflow the square around is nicely connected to a park.

Awesome site for anyone. Benches to sit and tennis tables provided. The Arch itself is a great place for photos. Good connections as Hyde Park is across the road and access to Marble Arch Station is super close by. I usually go there for Pokemon Go Community Day's and its travel connections make it a great place for large gatherings.

A beautiful red that can be seen as a gateway to Hyde Park. The speakers corner is right behind it. Oxford Street Next Door.

Very impressive monument but we were there to attend the pop-up Marble Arch Theatre. It is like a structured circus tent and worked superbly as a theatre in the round with a revolving circular catwalk through the audience. The show we saw was Five Guys named Mo which was equally superb… high energy, fast moving music and dance. A brilliant evening.

Very interesting historical monument, it is located on the shopping street and it is easy to get to it.

Arch is just beautiful up close. Great to relax there after shopping down oxford street. Nice to relax away from the crowds.

Very nice place being great common point of several bus routes. Beware of pigeons that gather there because they are hungry the pobresitas. They don't charge for being there, it's a tourist point of passage.

Nice land mark and beside some great attractions! Have a some coffee shops close-by, entrance to the park and beside the landmark is the Marble Arch Theatre which is a huge marquee. When I was there, I went to see 'Five Guys Named Moe' which was incredible; I highly recommend seeing it if you're able to catch it — cast and music are fantastic! Easily accessible too since you literally come out the tube station (Marble Arch) to the landmark.

A very nice place in Hyde park area, go and enjoy the lovely Hyde park, the shopping is available nearby as well. Also, you can reach the lovely Oxford Street by walk. Very good cafés and restaurants are available and you can find everything you want. The Mable arch train station also accessible in 2 minutes (0.3 mile) and you can access all London tube stations. This area is a luxury place from living point of view. Finally, the imperial college London is close to it as well. Enjoy visiting the marble arch :)

Great outdoor spot to enjoy people watching. The table tennis table was in full use when I visited so great to spend ambit of time and watch. There is also a small theatre here which I have yet to visit but it looks interesting!

It's not a big deal, the bow. But it is worth going around Oxford Street to this place. It is very good area in the vicinity.

Great landmark to see in London and the area is surrounded by a lot of great parks for relaxing. Definitely worth a visit. Access by tube is super easy.

Marble arch is nice. It is well situated and close to Hyde park. Ideal place for a quick escape from the busy urban city life of London. Definitely worth coming to get great picture. The drawback is that it is situated in a very busy roundabout which I frequently congested.

It's a great time where people comment their complaints to passers-by legally, there's a big park.

Beautiful everything I saw in London.

Favourite place in London, a place of meetings and rest on benches. Yes, there are a lot of pigeons, they, but who cares if you're in London! In a nearby shop, we bought hot food and snasked on the bench in between march-throws through the ancient city. My heart is somewhere out there at Marble Ark.

It is interesting for its architecture and as it is in one of the most visited places in London, there are always things to see around. But it is to be noted that it is not visited.

Nice, but very very busy, convenient for Hyde park… Loads of homeless people, not that in have an issue with them, but I do with how they try to scam cash… Be wary.

Far from being a place where you can spend some time, after all it's just an arch. However, you can really use it as a meeting point and it has a great location on the corner of the Hyde Park and close to Oxford street and a small walk from Piccadilly circus, for purposes of meeting point and reference to other attractions, it is great.

A great London landmark. Very busy, traveled through it. There were lots of young families enjoying the summer weather.

There by was the tree of Tyburn, for the hangings in group, especially of Catholics. There were more than 50 000 hangings. The English were always very tolerant of Catholics.

Important area of London, being one of the entrances to Hyde Park and from where the famous Oxford street begins.

Great place to rest after walking around Hyde park, and if you never did find those elusive Hyde Park toilets there's a Mac Donalds across the road from the arch and then you have Oxford Street to explore.

Marble Arch has always been a focal part in the West end with great surface and underground links to it. Currently have a show in situ for the current season. Lovely to visit on a cool crisp and bright Sunday morning when no one else is around and the traffic is light. You can really get a feel of the size of the monument that it imposes in the area.

At the tip of Hyde Park, before entering the endless Oxford Street the mighty arch enchants the many tourists.
Only flaw, being in an ultra modern street (LED lights of various color and animated showcases), the ancient arch is a little isolated and the evitabilmente put aside not making the beauty that should have.
The British should stand out more.

A classic-style archway next to Oxford Street. Its size is not big, so it certainly loses spectacularity. The forging work of its doors is quite nice.

Famous English landmark, perfect place to get harassed by pigeons, see a dirty water fountain and walk through a Subway that has a unique urine fragrance, how can I not recommend this place to anyone, enjoy London's finest.

A lovely place to visit. In the middle of a busy junction but once you get there it is with the wait.

The whole experience was fantastic. The show itself is mesmerising. My friend and I had a super-duper time. Wish it didn't end!

Perfect location and size for me! … The lodge itself is on good location and it seems to attract a very friendly and nice… All in all a really great place to stay at a really great price.

A good meeting place when you are London. Hive with activities. The Arch and the speaker's corner is interesting to take photographs and watch busy Londoner and tourists go by or just laze around the Hyde Park in Summer.

Close to Hyde Park and Marble Arch station metro station. A good point of reference when you are lost on the streets of London. It certainly helps to orientate.
