Place is okay but staff are rude as f*#% hidden charges and deposits which are not made clear at time of booking online — they charge deposit amounts depending on your appearance to be hobest as thats how it felt like but staff are RUDE.

Apartment is beautiful. Has everything you need! I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is fine, however the worst ever night's sleep anywhere! Street gang party started at 12 and went on until 4:15 when I think rain stopped them. They were all over the street within feet of guests windows. Complained to concierge but they couldn't speak English.

Clean apartment. Spacious. We even got a free upgrade.

The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the apartments are spacious and clean — but they’re a bit scrappy too. Electrical fittings were falling out of the walls, and the bin in the bathroom was pretty much just a rusty can. And yeah, they put a £200 charge on your credit card on-hold when you check in. It’s a bit of a shock when they ask you to enter your PIN and there’s a £200 charge on the screen, but I guess it’s legit. And folks with mobility issues, watch out for the bathrooms. The showers are in bathtubs with high sides and no handrails or grip mats. I nearly fell on my ass at least once. If the apartments were less scrappy and the £200 charge had been explained, then this might have been a 5* review.

Lovely apartment. Stayed in a 2-Bedroom when the children were with us and then checked into a 1-Bedroom later. Both were excellent!

It was a pleasant stay and really overwhelmed with ambience. Great room, amenities and service!

Great views, with lovely spacious accommodation for 8 people. Very comfortable and would recommend for group bookings.

Really clean, modern and spacious apartment. Plenty of room, very easy to get to the Jubilee line — helpful staff, I would happily stay again.

Not the first time and not the last! Love staying at Marlin, Canary Wharf whenever an event is booked. The 8 of us had a lovely time this weekend! Clean and very well presented with lovely, smily staff that are very happy to help xxx.

Great location, staff were helpful especially Josephine and Ionela. Was a bit noisy at night but great stay overall.

A good option in London than staying in hotel. Proximity of stores is a big plus point of this place. Staffs are good. One negative — the apartment wasn't cleaned for entire duration of my stay (was there for a week-Saturday to Saturday).

Been here already around a month due to the issues in my place. Can't complain about anything. Any minor issues that can occure are delt with immediately. Cheers to my romanian best receptionist! ;)

In my case malfunctioned the toilet, and the concierge made us wait 40 minutes in the cold before entering because it was not in the reception of the hotel, in addition to missing glasses and cutlery.

Really disappointed. Terrible service. Half of the staff is rude. I had a broken router and no Internet for four days. The dishwasher was broken since arrival they couldn't fix it. For three days I was begging them to fix it. Finally they gave me sponge and liquid to wash the dishes! I asked for a second blanket because I was feeling cold and they said they had to charge me £26 for that! Avoid at any cost.

Great place, parking however is an extortionate charge considering there is on street parking over night which is free. The place itself is great, very clean and well kept with everything you would need or want. Location is equally as good. Beware that they do put a £200 hold as a security deposit on your card aside from the actual charge which takes around 5 days to come off. Otherwise a great place with a few minor annoyances but would definitely return.

After been let down badly by another apartment. We managed to get in very last minute. Thankfully as it was the last available. Check in was great. Lovely staff. Big shout out to the Brazilian gentleman who couldn't be more helpful. Apartments are homely and although a little tired are very acceptable. Would stay here again no problem. In a great place for access to tube line.

Horrible cleaning services and lackluster front office staff. Customer service is poor. Their kitchen utensils are few and old and white goods are outdated. Some floor tiles are loose. Was one day late on arrival and the room was not even ready as cleaning had not been done. Made to wait. Not a good place to be honest. Location is good though. They do not give value for money.

No child bed made up of which I paid extra for, no towels, faulty fan, plug and light switch hanging off the wall! Would not recommend.

Nice apparments clean with everything you need worm also position I zone 2.5 minute walking to underground Station Canary warf.

Good facilities, nicely sized rooms. Pretty clean too.

1 bed rooms are an livable size but not as large as the St Paul's branch. High speed internet. And location is ok for Canary Whalf. Would not choose if you're needed in Central London.

Where do I begin, told I need to pay a 500 pounds pre authorisation when the email said 200 pounds. Requested a sofa bed within the apartment as there were no 3 beds available, which this was not provided I went to ask for a camp bed of some sort which they could still could not provide and was told to sleep on the sofa and for 6ft3 guy wasn't the best solution. We hassled them again which to be fair they did allow me to sleep in another apartment for the night. There is no air con in the apartments and we were provided with a broken fan. Half a plug socket was missing so the wires were visible, not ideal for kids (I do have pictures). The cleanliness of the apartment wasn't up to standard. Blonde hairs on the seat which must of been from previous occupiers. Traffic noise outside the apartment was manic, cars tooting during the night which meant no sleep. Last but not least the smell of weed lurking through the corridors was not acceptable. I certainly won't be using them again, 500+ for 2 nights in the middle of Canary Wharf you'd expect top spec apartments. Disappointing.

I initially arrived to be told I had not been given a room with a balcony despite requesting this and offering to pay. Also being told I had not paid for parking. After proving I had a receipt for the 40 pound for parking they gave me a fob. On entering the apartment it was extremely hot. The heating was off and I opened the windows as much as I could. It looked as though they could be opened more as the sign said but I was unsure as to how to do this. I went to reception an…d let my concerns be known about it being extremely hot. The woman came to the apartment and agreed it was very hot and advised to open the windows more. Even she could not open them further and she left. The next day after a sleepless night in extreme heat I handed my keys in and the woman at reception this time asked how my stay was and I told her it was awful and I should be here for another night but I am checking in to another hotel. Her reply "sorry" and I left. After leaving I realised I had left some clothing in the wardrobe. 2 white shirts, 1 blue body warmer and a black leather jacket. I rang up and asked if they were there and the man said he would have a look. I popped around as I was nearby and he took me to the apartment only to find the items of clothing were not there anymore. He said cleaners sometimes store them in a room where lost property is kept. After he checked there he said nothing was there so took my details and said he would find out.

We have stayed in Marlin apartments in Aldgate before and it was excellent. This one however was a dissapointment. Very tatty inside and in desperate need of, at the very least, redecoration if not refurbishment. Won't be going back to this one in a hurry.

Not far from Canary Wharf station, roughly a 5 minute walk it is in easy reaching distance of various restaurants and shops. There are a few restaurants close by so ordering food is no problem. Also there are a good amount of supermarkets close to the apartments so shopping for groceries is also easy. Service from staff is second to none, very helpful and attentive to any needs/ questions I had. Rooms good size and we'll equipped. Definitely recommended.

On arrival we got downgraded from a family room to 2 double rooms. Members of our party were not a couple so this presented an issue. Facilities were excellent if they can get your booking correct.

Decent stay. Got upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment. However the floors were dirty, we had to ring reception to get the floors hoovered and cleaned. Also view isnt the greatest, overlooking an estate as well as our living room not having no blinds. Also no details on how to use air con as the apartment is really warm and feels humid almost.

So I stayed at the Marlin Apartments Canary Wharf with my partner and I will never ever do it again. The staff where so rude on my arrival, they served and pushed people through the queue before me. When they final served me they told me I hadn't paid when I had all my confirmation. I paid for a balcony with a nice view they told me I had to even more extra when they just gave one away to another couple for free. I paid for late check out and for the car park, they told me extra as well, I refused because I had already paid for these things. The view on the balcony was the view of a car park and a block of flats. They took £500 holding money from me just in case things where damaged. When I left I took a video that nothing was broken or damaged but it was a fight to get my money back. When checking out all the guy said to me was 'keys' and that was it. It was absolutely appalling and my partner and I spent a lot of money to be treated so bad. Better of spending your money at a travel lodge or holiday inn.

Just a bit overpriced and reception is not too friendly.

No milk for tea or coffee. Had late checkout but they still called early to ask us to check out. Clean rooms otherwise and nice apartments. Great furnishings and fully equipped.

Stayed while working in Canary Wharf. Good location less than 10 mins from Canary Wharf underground. 1 bed apartment is a good size with modern fittings. Kitchen has good facilities — fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, hob etc. Hairdryer, ironing board and toiletries provided. Reception was efficient and friendly. There is no air conditioning which might be more of an issue in warmer weather. Rooms at the back are quieter than the front. Good value for money.

Great place to stay, would really recommend to all my friends. Staff is attentive and responsive, will definitely stay here again. Internet sucks though.

Great place. Located on the edge of Canary Wharf this apartment complex was great value. Easy to find and park at. 8 min walk from Canary Wharf tube station or DLR. Apartment very clean and tidy. All facilities you'd need for a long or short stay. Staff very helpful and polite. Can't fault it really.
