Typical London price for your standard comfortable room. Not bad, not brilliant. Twin room was of a decent size for two people. Bathroom had a shower with dispensing gel, sink, mirror, and toilet. Towels provided. Niceties such as instant coffee and tea available to be made in the room. No issues with temperature. Bed was nice to sleep in, pillows were soft. Breakfast was above average and buffet style, included in the price so you could get your monies worth. Though I didn't use it, they also offered a 'to go' breakfast option (which is same food but you can take it away) which was is a well thought out gesture and shows they know their target market well.

Check in was done quickly by friendly and helpful staff. The check in desk is a bit awkward being on the 1st floor so you need to walk up a flight of stairs or use the elevator to get to it. The elevators are fitted with key card access for security but they do not work. So much for security. Rooms were clean and spacious. I will use again in the future.

The service is nice and helpful. The rooms clean and tidy. The connection to the city centre works without any problems. Unfortunately, there is no safe in the room. From the busy road in front of the hotel you get little with the closed windows. Happy again:)

Average Holiday inn express hotel with very friendly and helpful staff creating welcoming atmosphere. Very nice breakfast buffet offering english breakfast. The only disadvantage is the busy road creating noisiness and the dark tunnels on the route from the train station to the hotel. Walking late at night didn't make me feel very safe.

Close to Tower of London, clean hotel and offering the necessary comfort for a small family. Friendly and helpful staff for all inquiries. I would definitely go back for a future stay.

Good location, about 20 minute walk along the side of the Thames to get to Canary Wharf. Friendly helpful staff. Room was comfortable, had everything which you would need. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

Clean room, accept children up to 17 years in the same room, breakfast included with juice, milk, tea, coffee, sweet bread, fruit, yogurt, cereal, Nutella, jam and scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, and beans (standard chain) very crowded by Families. Friendly service, close to the train station and in front of the bus stop.

Were there for 3 days with 2 children there and really enjoyed it! The service and the staff were great!

I've stayed here a few times as it's a convenient location for my needs. Rooms are clean and parking is convenient and reasonably priced. Breakfast is great but would appreciate it being changed up at least on the weekends. The first time I stayed for a week and it was the exact same items every day.

Shockingly bad customer service here. I stayed for one night recently and after not having had time to eat since midday, I ordered at nearly midnight from the Night Room Service delivery service (which had the Holiday Inn logo on the leaflet advertising the service in the room). I received completely the wrong order: a pizza covered in spicy meat instead of the mixed vegetarian I'd ordered, so I had paid a not inconsiderable amount of money for food I was unable to eat. I spoke to staff the next morning and they asked me to forward on the email of complaint that I had sent to Night Room Service, and assured me that they would look into the matter and contact me with a resolution. A week later and I have received no response from either Night Room Service or the hotel, despite my sending a follow up email asking what was going on. It seems if you have a problem their policy is to speak nicely and fob you off whilst you are there, and then completely ignore you once you have left. Next time I have to stay in that part of London I'll definitely be looking for alternative accommodation.

Located in a rough part of town next to a cement factory. The place is small and very low-spec. Breakfast is free but it isn't great. Bedrooms are minimally furnished, no safe, no drawers or doors on the "wardrobes". However the staff are VERY polite and helpful, I did sleep well and I would say it's actually very good value for money. If you want a no-thrills base to venture out from without spending any time in the hotel, it's really pretty good.

They do not have much effort for French and informs poorly ex recording charging in London.

A very standard Holiday Inn, which I guess is what they aim to be. Staff were helpful and accommodated our requests. You do have to ask for an ironing board and iron as they are not in the room but they do have them. The breakfast consists of bacon, sausages, beans, eggs, toast, cereals, yogurt, coffee, juices, fruit and pastries. It certainly isn't bad but you are hard of choice if you are looking for something healthy. The rooms are clean and tidied daily, if you end up with a room with two beds, there is this annoying little table in the middle which is bolted to the wall so no chance of combining the beds to form a larger one.

It's far from the center. Watch the airport starting, Gatwick.

It was a welcoming visit. The staff were pleasant and everything was to mine and my company's satisfaction. Would definitely book there again for future sessions. The only discrepancy was no lunch was provided.

Great service 5 minute walk from Limehouse DLR. Breakwater was good. The room was comfortable. Slept well no noise.

The room was coarse clean, stains on the carpet, dirt edges around the faucet, the shower walls rotten down and moldy.
The breakfast was really English, very hearty and sweet.
The staff friendly and eager to carry suitcases were kept before check-in and after check-out without any problems.
We would check in again for a city break.

Handy base for sightseeing East London and easy to get to central London too. Room is comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful.

I recommend yes for family because reception and staff are very friendly and for child is very good. Service makes quick care and problem solving. Holiday Inn Express London is close to bus and train. Very well connect to center London. Breakfast is very good.

Perfect location. Area can be sketchy at night but most places are around the east side of london. Parking is cheap and very secure. Nearest tube/dlr link is a mere 5 minute walk. Great value for money.

It is a pleasant facility. It is far better than anything I have seen in its category. My wife and I are having a great time.

I went there to spend the summer, the rooms comfortable and very friendly but the buffet was not very spacious, although I had enough things and Rellenavan every little time.

Place is nice for UK standards :). Rooms are clean and well maintained. Just keep in mind that some of the rooms are next to Cement Depot and once business day starts it is little bit noisy. That's do not mean that noise is too high, it is just there.

Unfortunately I have had a bad experience with Holiday Inn Express London Limehouse. I have left some possessions at the hotel of which content I have not managed to recover completely. Although I have been initially helped to identify the bag collected by housekeeping, following complaint, my request was dealt with poorly. Nobody followed up on my complaints (as I have written several times) until I have called the hotel. Obviously, nothing was done. I was very disappointed by how it has been handled. I would never stay at that hotel again. Knowing that your possessions and valuables are safe it is one on the most important aspects. This should not be a worry in 2017 in central London!

Overall a present stay! Nothing specific to wow me to a 5* however nothing to complain about either. Friendly welcoming team, clean room and bathroom & a pretty decent breakfast! Can't go wrong.

Like all Holiday Inn I have stayed in, it is well maintained, clean and tidy. Breakfast selection is average and nothing fancy. It is located close to Limehouse DLR station, Tesco Express and some decent takeaway places, Canary Wharf is 15 minutes away on foot (~1 mile) and Thames is just across the road. Overall a decent budget hotel to stay in London Zone 2.

Convenient location only about a 5 minute walk from the Limehouse DLR station, and about a 20 minute walk in to Canary Wharf along the Themes. Good sized, clean rooms with all of the basics included. Friendly service when checking in and out, as well as when ordering at the bar.

Location is directly on the highway, 5 minutes walk to Limehouse DLR station. Room was clean, you can chose between soft and tight pillow. Breakfast was okay, for a sightseeing weekend you can go there, it's relatively cheap. So you get what you pay for, don't expect anything fancy. I definitely would go there again.

Nice, clean hotel. Located a short walking distance from public transportation. Morning breakfast can be hectic, but plentiful. Bar stays open late. Staff is beyond professional and courteous.

Recently stayed at this Holiday Inn. Our experience was good for the most part. We had a leak in one of the ceiling tiles when we first arrived. It was changed promptly and we were offered another room. Breakfast was definitely a busy time and the food was ok. Location was great as it is very close to the DLR.

The room was pretty nice. The shower worked wonderfully and the water pressure in the sink was fantastic. Breakfast was quite a bit crowded but the food was tasty enough. Very decent stay overall.

Stayed here for 1 night while attending IAAF World Athletics Championships at The London Stadium. We stayed in a family room overnight which was clean and comfortable and was just what was needed after a great day of athletics. Only a 20 minutes walk/train/walk from Limehouse to London Stadium. Includes breakfast which I have to say was great. Everyone's tastes were catered for. Would have no problem staying here again.

It's ok, room was clean and tidy, sofa folded out as children's bed but not a lot of space when it's out. Room was very hot and air con didn't work, opening window let all of the sounds of London in. Quite pricey for a budget hotel but I suppose it's London. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style and you can help yourself to as much as you like. Didn't use the bar on the night. Check in was easy and not very busy, done really quickly. Check out was a bit of a faff, were in a rush to leave and there is no express check out (or no obvious one anyway) where you just dump your key and so had to wait in line.

We've had a week and everything's perfect. Change of sheets and towels daily. All very clean and the staff very friendly. Very well communicated. I would go back and this hotel.

Very good place with nice hospitality. In the heart of the London near to tube station and very much near to iconic London Bridge. Nice breakfast and Wi-Fi as complimentary brings the very much needed convenience.

We have stayed from 26/12 to 30/12/2016, the cleanliness and kindness of the staff, are the flagship of this structure, the connections with the center excellent, the Metro LDR is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel, breakfast has always been plentiful and for all Tastes! I would definitely go back to London. Worth 5 stars I recommend it to those who take children! Thank you for making our holiday even more beautiful we will be back soon!

The staff were extremely friendly and the room was clean. We booked in advance, and when we shopped around again the day or arrival, there were tons of comparable hotels that were much better priced. We even saw the same room for much less. That was pretty annoying, considering the fact that the rate was nob-refundable.

Great night's sleep after a night out in London, breakfast was fantastic as expected from Holiday Inn Express hotels. Staff were friendly and responsive to my requests and went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Wifi in the room worked well and the room was clean and pleasant. I would say that a suggestion for when booking is having directions from the Limehouse DLR station so people don't get turned around trying g to get to the hotel.

I am looking for a cheap, good quality hotel, was discovered. This is a little different, but the overall feeling is normal hotel. Staying at process may, room is OK, but the strange thing is ate dinner outside the hotel must be contacted other restaurants, this is the place where different. Staff are OK, nothing special, nor make unhappy.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very attentive. Not located in the best of areas. Make sure you ask to be placed away from the cement works next door. About a 5 minute walk you are next to the Thames.

Had a family room, sofa bed slightly uncomfortable (could feel the springs in places) for our 6yo. But it was clean and the staff were bending over to help us both at check in and breakfast. 5 minutes walk to the Limehouse station. Recommended!

Close to the DLR but also very close to a busy A road. The room was nice and clean but there were no power sockets near the bed which wasn't great for charging our phones. The breakfast wasn't great but there was a decent enough selection. The corridors had a strange smell to them though.

The hotel staff was helpful and kind. The rooms were cleaned up nicely. But the rooms are poorly isolated so you can hear everything that your neighbours are saying, screaming and doing at all times. You can also hear the traffic very well and if people are talking our yelling outside. Even though the breakfast was included it was very limited.

One the worst hotel expriences we have ever had. Poor serivice, unhygienic linens, no tolietries, limited breakfast. The staff was not at all helpful. When we wanted to change the hotel they didnt give us a refund when we had a package of 9 days still and because of an unhygenic room my mum fell sick and still we couldnt leave but we were forcefully made to stay as we didnt get a refund when we had done the complete payment in advance. And because she was sick we left anyways and they didnt give us a checkout receipt and we havent got the refund yet. We were supoosed to get a receipt while checking out but they said no formalitites which makes no sense. The front desk is not at good as well. Inwouldnt recommend such a poor and shabby hotel to anyone.

Hotel de 4 estrellas que no debería serlo, por muy poco dinero más esta el Holiday Inn de Stratford City, que aunque en el mapa parezca que esta mas lejos, es mejor hotel. Algunos detalles para que juzguéis vosotros: — Hotel situado al lado de una fábrica de cemento. (Ruido constante en mi cuarto incluso el fin de semana) — Lo único que hay en el baño son dos vasos de plástico (nada de gel, champú, …) — No hay bares ni tiendas cerca. La zona parece peligrosa, desde mi ventana se ven casas que parecen estar ocupadas. — Reservé una habitación doble y me dieron una de minusválidos, y al pedir que me cambiasen me dijeron que era su única doble disponible en ese momento. — No tiene enchufes cerca de la cama. — Duchas con cortinas no propias de un hotel de 4 estrellas. — El desayuno poco variado y mal "servido" prestación del autoservicio parecida a la de los colegios. — El personal es amable y con muy buena intención, pero el hotel no da para más. Mi conclusión es que es el peor hotel de 4 estrellas en el que he estado, no se esperen ningún tipo de detalle especial o lujo, más bien al contrario, hotel cutre y situado en una zona que no tiene nada.

Is a good clean hotel Nice is located to the East in a beautiful area of London and a 5 min walk from DLR lightweight train that runs every minute and two stops away leaves you on the metro district line.

It is a good hotel. Very clean. Very well communicated with the DLR and buses that will drop you off at Trafalgar Square. Reception and other staff very pleasant. Spacious room and clean. Good mobile service. I did the breakfast and has been a success. Fruit, cereal, coffee… pastries, rolls, yoghurts… Take in lack cocoa. This very well at this hotel. Fully recommended.

Standard Holiday inn express same furnishings in all. However lacked toiletries and no tea coffee making facilities.

My 7 yr old daughter's 1st visit to the capital city and the staff were excellent. Our room was on the top floor giving us excellent views over the capital. There was a great reception awaiting her and she was treated as a vip. Thank you all for a memorable 1st visit and relaxed atmosphere. Top marks Holiday Inn.

Spent a week there for business training. As all other Holiday Inn the standards are met and the place although with small rooms offer a confort that would acomodate any business traveler. It is quite outside of the center of london, but nothing an oyster card can get you to.

A good Hotel for reasonable Price. The breakfast can feel monotonous after 2 days. Otherwise good, Limehouse DLR Station is 5 min away. Good Family Hotel, Age range of guests is 1-80 yrs, very silent, Hotel doesnt have Restaurant and there are NOT many good international Restaurants around, because the area is populated by mostly bangladeshi People. Dont follow the Google route finder, it makes confused. If you come via Limehouse Station, then Keep Walking upto the end of butcher row and then turn to right. Hotel should publish a front view on the Hotel finding Websites. The viewed back view makes negative Image on mind.

Good hotel offers all what you need. Price performance is top in my opinion and the breakfast can be also seen for English conditions. Also, there is a super link to the public transport network.

Ok for the money. Note that the Google maps directions take you to a tunnel under the hotel despite the address being correct, to get around this, select the road as the destination and not the hotel.
