Kind staff. Rooms are small. The air conditioning wasn't working. We could only get two channels on TV (and one was Indian). The shower and toiletts were in the lobby. And the shower was clogged. I told it to the receptionist, but the problem was the same the next morning. And the sink had a small link as well (the toilett paper below was wet). The hotel was quiet enough regarding its location. Our view was on an exit platform. So, less safe but less noisy. We had breakfast included in our price. But there seemed to be only two tables for having breakfast, and there were next to the reception, in the passage. So, it didn't motivate us to take it.

One of the WORST place to stay not only in London or any thirld world countries. NEVER been to such a filthy place in my life, its filthier than slum of mumbai or african countries. AVOID at all cost and you will thank me for this advise for your life!

Small neighborhood hotel. Lack of renovation but clean. Excellent bedding. Shower and sink outside the room. Frigo and TV in the room. Breakfast included full. Very kind staff. WARNING, payment only in cash!

Would give zero stars if possible. Staff were rude and indifferent. Would it be an overstatement to say the staff were prejudiced? Absolutely not. The facilities provided were sub standard and the shower did not work.

This hotel is relatively cheap. Great place to stay for everyone especially those who are in london for a few nights looking for a place to kip.

Not bad, but little bit far from city center and we had to walk a lot from the closest metro station. Good service and price though.

I would advise the hotel with a nice and helpful staff. Doll, Receptionist speaks French and will advise you good business (shops and restaurants). In addition, the hotel is located in Zone 2 and close to bus stop and Metro. Ask for rooms in R + 1 where R + 2, they have a window and are more spacious.

Don't buy into the whole "You get what you pay for", this place is not good at all. No hot water, paper thin (literally) walls, dodgy plugs, no door latch, no workspace. Location is fine, but doesn't make up for the flaws. Be organised and pay £10 more for an AirBnb.

I understand that this is a budget hotel but there are some limits. The place looks bad, old and the bedrooms are really poorly furnished and decorated; this part I can accept from a budget hotel. But, this place is absolutely filthy, it smells horrible (like animal urine), especially in the bedrooms and is so bad it's actually quite hard to think about anything else. They keep the windows open and the fans on but this is not working. Only use this place if there are really no other choices.

The two good things about the hotel are that it's extremly near to the Center and at least the bedsheets are mostly clean. Coming to the cons there is to mention that the walls, the floor and the bath are totaly dirty. I realy haven't seen something so dirty befor. Overall it's pretty cheap for the location, but take something you can wear all the time, cause you don't want to touch the floor bearfoot.

I needed a cheap place to stay for a night while in London for 24hours. This fitted the bill for £40. I was able to check in whenever before midnight, it was a 5 min walk from the tube station. And there's a McDonald's a 10 min walk away which was perfect for a quick dinner. The man in reception when I arrived was friendly enough, told me to watch out for the leak as he pointed to my room. My room, as you can see from the picture was reasonably small, but not bad at all. It was also very warm! The window had been left open for me and the fan on full blast to compensate which was nice. The major downside to this was the shared bathroom, which was tiny. It was also really gross that evening, but had been cleaned by the morning. It was to be shared between 5 or 6 rooms (at least) and so I felt stressed about that. But in all honesty it was totally fine. If I needed a quick place to stay for a night I'd stay here again. Not holiday quality but for the purposes of my visit just perfect.

Again close to shoreditch n place I needed to go so liked in that sense. Basic but functional.

An abomination. Stinks and everything looks like nobody has taken care of it in the last 50 years when it was built by incapable craftsmen. Very loud outside. When you close the windows, it starts stinking too much and you rather take the noise. There are three extremely small shared bathrooms for about ten guests at the same time. Southern European woman at the reception was as unfriendly as I have ever met a person. I won`t go into detail but she also tried to scam me. You have to leave the key at the reception when you go out, but get no receipt. Also, you get no receipt for your payment immediately. TV had three programs and did not work properly. Street is bright at night and the light gets into the room. Would not take that room for free again.

By far the worst welcoming I have had from a hotel. The Hotel innkeeper spoke very rudly to us making our stay for the night uncomfortable. On top of that, we had been moved from room to room due to lack of organisation. We are very friendly people and wouldn't have minded if the innkeeper had explained the changes to us respectfully and reasonablly, even an apology would have sufficed. The interior was not too bad despite lack of space. Tidiness and cleanliness in the 'hotel' is satisfactory.

Oh God, where should I start from. The bathroom is shared between like more than two rooms (my boyfriend once saw a drunk man pee with the door open). Rooms are sooo small, you don`t even have where to place your luggage. It smells so cheap, there is no carpet on the floor, the walls look as if they`re about to fall, the receptionists are not at all very kind. On the 2nd floor, bathroom only has a toilet and a sink, so we had to go downstairs to take a shower in something that looked almost like a shower cabin. Except that it had hair in it, the shower cap was about to fall, there was no room for a soap dispenser, and obvs no soap dispenser at all. I was even afraid to use the toilets, or sleep on the beds (although they proved to be clean, so no bed bugs for us). Still, the breakfast sucks. I am not sophisticated or something, but from the 3rd morning we were not even able to eat it anymore, they give you a dirty menu to choose from (did I mention that the waitress&housekeeper and female receptionist who ocasionally was our waitress do not speak English at all?! ), and you can choose between fried eggs and scrambled eggs (those suck, they do not even taste like eggs), you can choose toast, beans, sausages (I don`t know what those are made of, but they almost made me vomit — so for sure there`s no meat in there), coffee, orange juice, milk and cereal. You have to leave the key at the reception every time you live, so careful with your money and belongings!

Very simple Hotel. But for the price and especially the location is quite okay! 10 min to the city center, so you really can't complain! We liked it.

Absolute dump, wallpaper is hanging off the walls and when I say wallpaper I mean carpet stuck to the wall. The rooms are Mouldy, floor was cracked and the fridge was also mouldy. Lack of plug sockets, Holes in the bedding one of the beds were broken (slanted to one side) the floor was also disgusting. The TV is damaged and the curtains are falling off. The people who had the black plague would of had better living conditions than this.

It's cheap, that's about all I can say for it. Be prepared for very, very basic, such as I haven't seen since the sixties. A noisy fridge in the room, but no cup, not even a plastic beaker. They also were unable or unwilling to accept a card payment.

The walls are very thin, so ear plugs are not forgotten. Breakfast is also not the Hit: cooked and served in a very sad Indeed, selection is very limited, narrow space with only 2 round tables. Kitchen may only be limited to be used: microwave and coffee maker. There may be, but there will not be cooked. The room is very not and makes not a super clean impression. So this is cheaper for the London want to see and only a bed to Sleep for the need as conveniently as possible. English version: We chose this hotel because it was the most cheap one from those that are situated not far from city center. Generaly what is ok for its price. Don't forget your earplugs — it's quite noisy there because of the very thing walls. Breakfast is not the best experience there: served by very sad woman, quite tight choice, in small roon with only 2 tables. You may use kitchen there, but only microvawe and a kettle (not at breakfast time). The room what is small and dusty. Advantage: 10 min from the metro and bus station, there are some supermarkets there. You may choose this hotel if you are going to spend all the day in the city and just look for the cheapest bed near the center.
