They don't have a restaurant but they still serve a meal of the day in the evening (till 21:30). Very tidy, modern and well equipped rooms. Excellent service and a bar open all night long. There's a table soccer in the bar, and a few willing players. I do recommend the place.

What a brilliant place! The decor is cool and funny, it has a great atmosphere, rooms and clean and quiet, staff is friendly and the location is very good. Easily accessible from public transport, a quick walk from London City Airport and close to large event venues. Quite inexpensive for London standards but really amazing accommodation.

Only stayed the one night but loved it. Super helpful friendly staff. Lovely clean comfortable room. One thing only on the downside was no kettle in the room but apart from that a lovely stay.

Accessible rooms, pet friendly, family rooms and parking for a van. Friendly staff and an all round good feeling. Easy transport links into central London.

Very nice and modern hotel. Easy to get to from euston station. Staff gave excellent customer service. Only drawback… as it is near the airport the planes are loud if your windows are open, but this didn't spoil our enjoyment.

Everything seemed fine, the location is right beside the airplane so expect some noise. The rooms were fine though it would be nice if suites with multiple bedrooms had something to seperate them like doors instead of just a hole in the wall.

Staying at Moxy was great fun. Love the games, the sexiness. Good rooms. Didn't find any newspapers.

Great, fun hotel. Very affordable for London and just a short tube ride from the city center. Breakfast simple but good. The bar at night is great. Good vibe overall. Great staff.

Nice modern hotel with good facilities. Staff very helpful and friendly, rooms stylish and clean. Excellent shower. Only critique really was the breakfast — continental buffet is all that's on offer, no cooked breakfast, and the way the food is laid out is very haphazard, with breakfast items next to other food items which must be paid for separately.

Really modern hotel. The room it self was clean with a good TV, fairly good Wi-Fi and a comfy bed. Rooms don't have air con, they have climate control which mean of it is cold outside they make the rooms hot. This was the only downside to staying at this hotel. Would recommend to anyone who does mind staying in a hot hotel room.

Nice hotel with a great vibe. Only downside is the lack of a wardrobe and a kettle (a must in the winter) in the room. You'd have to go down for hot water which is a pain if you have a cold.

Modern hotel with very good continental breakfast. Friendly staff. The docking railway is practically in front of the door. Gladly again.

If you plan on frequenting a hotel bar in the area near the convention center, make it Moxy. They have friendly staff, they're quick, and the area near the bar is great to chill with soft seating, games, and good music. Among the games they have Connect 4, Foosball, Hungry Hungry Hippos, and others. Unfortunately on Sunday night they ran out of most of the beer on tap but it's tough to know if that's a recurring problem. The food they make looks good but I wasn't hungry to try it. If I come back to this area, I'll probably stay at Moxy.

The hotel is new and very clean. The rooms are functional and stylishly decorated. The windows are soundproof, which is also essential when you are close to London City Airport. Sleeping with an open window is not possible here.
The breakfast should be saved in view of the price of 10 pounds and prefer to travel to the city or go to the nearby pub.
The staff was very friendly.
It takes about 45 minutes to reach Waterloo station by train.

The staff is really really friendly, they are so kind! The location is good too, I thought it is too far away from the City, but it’s definitely not and you have a super good rail service. I didn’t breakfast there. The airport is really near, but it never disturbed me, slept like a baby. Hotel is really clean and gets cleaned everyday, really nice service. The only thing I didn’t like was, that the cleaning-Lady opened the door while I was sleeping, just ruined my sleep and everything. But all in all I’d recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Cool hotel for young people. The lobby has a nice area for board games. Rooms are small but quite nice. It's far from being a fancy hotel but it meets the requirements. The bar (also reception) is small and doesn't have a lot of options. Also, buffet is way overpriced for the quality. Not bad for the price I must say (and pretty new).

The staff was super gentle and friendly, and the room was amazingly designed! The bathroom was also nice and clean. I just wanted to say that I'm used to have a locker in which I usually find some more pillows and blankets if needed, but the blanket was warm and the pillow comfortable. 9/10 I'd say :)

It may be hip and stylish, but it's cheaply made with banging doors, thumping floors, rubbish air con that's too warm and lots of noise from the planes taking off — don't even think about opening the window. The room isn't very big, the beds are soft but not luxurious as others suggest. There's no thought for storage, not even a chair. I'm not happy paying extra on top of an already expensive stay to get a cup of tea or coffee either. Breakfast is continental and all over the place, organisation clearly doesn't fit with chic! We also had a dog come and sit next to us, which for me is a massive no. Seriously, pets in a food environment?

Young, hip budget hotel offering the basics. Comfortable bed and good location for the o2 or London City Airport. Basic breakfast but friendly staff.

Stayed for the whole week whilst attending an exhibition at the Excel Centre. Fantastic location, being literally a 5 minute walk away from the Excel Centre centre. The Crew were extremely helpful — even making me "hot toddies" at the end of the week when I started to have a sore throat/cold. Thank you Crew, hope to stay again!

It's an upscale hostel. Staff were not helpful. I had an issue with my reservation and they said they would look into it and have an answer next day. Next day it was a different staff member. They said they would look into it and have an answer next day. Rinse repeat for 3 days. 4th day saw original staff member who didn't remember anything. I gave up and left.

A very hipster no frills hotel. Great friendly staff. The rooms are small but manageable. They have USB wall chargers which was nice. 5 min walk to a tube station but not much else nearby.

Great stay here. Contemporary with modern decor and millennial friendly rooms and technology with access to Netflix etc, plug sockets next to the beds and games and seating spaces downstairs with 24 hour bar. Great choice for all but particularly younger folk looking for a technology-friendly hotel. Main criticism was breakfast which was and additional fee and very expensive just for some contintenal options. But I would definitely stay here again and stone's throw away from London City Airport with easy access to trains.

MOXY London Excel is a new hotel that's appealing to the younger crowd. The moment you step inside you hear club hits and see playful hot pink themed decor. The lobby has a spacious lounge area, reception/bar, and the area next to it is always stocked with snacks and drinks. The hotel rooms are nice and clean and compact with a comfortable Queen sized bed, good hairdryer and shampoo products. Would love to stay here again!

Great hotel 7 mins walk from Excel. Very funky interiors and clean rooms. Has a very nice vibe and you can get decent rates if you book early enough online.

Nice new rooms. Great lobby with full bar, comfy seating, books, games and computers. Only complaint is the air conditioning in the room seems to shut off at night, making it uncomfortably hot.

Rooms are lovely and staff great but… No kettle in the room so forced to buy expensive coffee in the bar. No wardrobe or even drawers so living out of my suitcase. Lift broken too so up 6 floors foe some is not good.

Very modern and laid back hotel. Well appointed, clean, styled rooms, with nice touches such as motion sensor lights, Chromecast on the TV. Staff very friendly and helpful, but limited catering options with 24 hour bar and 'shop', and nothing nearby. Free parking.

A good Hotel, see how do I find, the rooms are clean, the staff very friendly and also very helpful. This is the London City airport in the vicinity, although a bit disturbing in the day, but in the room itself gets in the evening, actually, not a lot of. It is also priced inordung.

Hotel is very chic and modern, def boutique, staff are helpful and friendly, perfect location for the DLR to all rail links to the main attractions, breakfast is continental, but lots of choice and coffee is fab! The only issue was that the lifts were a little temperamental, but the engineers seemed to be working on it, otherwise I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and shall be returning! Well done to all staff at The Moxy!

Great hotel with a modern feel. Great staff and easy links into London. Only negative for me is the cost of parking.

Decorated in modern style, the room inside is simple and elegant, close to London City airport, 15 minutes walk to, very comfortable stay, the TV can be connected via Wi-Fi for mobile devices, though I failed very suitable for catch a plane the people, the price is not low.

Nicely decorated, nice atmosphere close location to the Excel site. Reception is part of the bar which is not conventional and nice. No wardrobe in the rooms… No phone in the room… Water pressure is very low.

This hotel is just the best. The interior is super cool and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are new and in almost mint condition and there's high speed wireless Internet — not the crappy Internet you get at many other hotels. Also, it is very easy to stream Netflix, HBO or YouTube to the TV — they encourage you to do so. I can certainly recommend this hotel and would choose the same again, if I had to.

The concept is amazing, small details to improve cleaning, I hope that improves.
