Fantastic trip and well worth doing. Time slots are lenient which avoids rushing. I was on crutches and had a leg cast, so was worried about getting through London in time to arrive for our 12:45 slot, but time slots are more of a provision to manage flow and capacity, not about strict time slots. The staff were very cheerful, smiley, and wished us a nice day. They stopped the pod for me to get on and off, so there was no rush. The staff end each pod with a quick walk through with a mirror on a stick to ensure nothing dangerous has been planted, which was reassuring to see. Great vision of locations, despite the weather. I booked via O2 priority, so each ticket was about £14/15, which makes it affordable for lots of people, and for lots of people to return.

Great views. Swift and efficient process to get on ride. Ride lasts about 30 min. I waited in line about 20 — 30 min, on a Tuesday at 2pm. But a bit pricey. I'd say it's only worth it if you really want the photos of the views. It's just like the coca cola eye in Orlando, FL — — just different scenery. Buy tickets online.

I'm a born and bred Londoner, but this was the first time I'd been to the tourist mecca of the London Eye. We did the 2-for-1 train deal which kept the cost down to a more reasonable level and at that price, it was well worth the money. The 'flight' is very smooth and takes 30 minutes. The views are fabulous. There's plenty of opportunity to move round the pod and I was happy to find out there was no ongoing running commentary. The only gripe was the standard exit through the gift shop and the rip off price of £20 for a photo (not taken up) but otherwise, very good for the (discounted) money.

It's a beautiful place in the heart of London. Lucky if you are visiting during summer. You won't agree but hundreds of tourist buses, fully packed drive through all the day. You feel like the whole UK tourism is being deployed to attract tourist all over the world. Beautiful place to visit and great to see the excitement of your fellow tourists. :)

The Coca-Cola London Eye is centrally located in the heart of the capital, gracefully rotating over the River Thames opposite the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. At 135 metres, the Coca-Cola London Eye is the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel; a feat of design and engineering, it has become the modern symbol representing the capital and a global icon. The experience showcases breathtaking 360-degree views of the capital and its famous landmarks and has been the number one visitor experience in the city for the past decade. The gradual rotation in one of the 32 high-tech glass capsules takes approximately 30 minutes and gives you an ever-changing perspective of London. Within each capsule, interactive guides allow you to explore the capital's iconic landmarks in several languages. An experience on the Coca-Cola London Eye will lift you high enough to see up to 40 kilometres on a clear day and keep you close enough to see the spectacular details of the city unfolding beneath you. Make the most of your time with us by visiting our London Eye 4D Experience, free with every ticket. See London come to life through unique perspectives and multi-sensory special effects, including wind, bubbles and scent. The four-minute show is perfect to watch at the start of your visit.

London Eye is worth visiting once. The capsule is big enough for all to move around freely to enjoy the views while taking some nice photos. It moves very slowly so you would not feel anything exciting except that you keep going high as your capsule rises above and comes down. If you are taking pictures all the time you might miss enjoying the ride.

Another big tourists attraction spot. Every cable car fits 25 people. A little pricey but you do get a nice view and good pictures. Long line waiting though. It's nice to take picture of London Eye far away than standing in the cable car for over 30 minutes. Night time it looks awesome.

What you see is what you get here. This is a tourist trap designed for riders to see their surroundings quickly and efficiently. You are on a sphere that has about 15 guests. The ride lasts about 30mins. There is a bench in the center, but you won't be able to sit down since people are standing on the edge the entire time. This spot is ideal if you only have 2 days or less in London with limited time to explore. — Make sure to book your tickets ahead of time and plan your day around this stop. We found that by booking the last run of the day, the lines were empty and we rode with fewer people. Also, if your car is crowded, try rotating opposite of the crowd, you probably won't miss any views. — Ideally I would suggest skipping this place completely! Go to the Sky Garden! It's FREE, you can stay as long as you want, you can eat and drink there, and it's a place to feel the London vibe… feel more like you're a local enjoying the town instead of rushing through!

A must ride for anyone visiting London, it's worth the waiting in long queues to get the entrance and then climb up to the wheel. You should have two or three hours for the entire program, and it is worth it. It is a classic attraction at the global level. If you're in London you SHOULD GO! ^_^

Attraction light, which allows you to enjoy a little air conditioning. Allows you to make good shots and video, as long as you have the luck of access to a cabin with the glass clean. The price is excessive for what it offers.

A nice and relaxing attraction that offers a breathtaking panoramic view of London. We took our two young children and they both enjoyed the 30-minute ride and view. I do, however, find the attraction a bit expensive considering the lack of "activity" (other than sightseeing). Also, having to share the capsule with 20+ other people makes for a very warm enclosed space. We went on a hot day and found the capsule really warm — we could barely feel the air conditioning.

I went here with my fiancee for her birthday and it was amazing. If you can, I would recommend the VIP experience. We had access to a private lounge while we waited and a glass of champagne (we chose champagne). Your host will get you when it's time and they will direct you and help you in every way possible. Our host was amazing and was the nicest person! The views are unreal and being able to enjoy a cocktail while taking in the views was just a bonus!

I went on a week day and there was no queue. There wind up being only four people in my pod. It was a lovely ride with amazing views! The staff are also really sweet and energetic. It’s very expensive, but I think I would recommend it just for the impressive experience. Make sure you look at the other pods for a moment as you are reaching the top—it’s surreal! We had the champagne experience so when we got on the London eye we popped open a bottle and let the celebrations begin. It was good because the sun was out and you could see the whole of London. One of the best ways to see the city. Buy the fast pass before you go and you’ll fly through the ticket line and the 4D experience and the line for the eye itself. Amazing views and great staff with tons of info. The gift shop has some super unique and fun items as well. Close to the aquarium which is discounted if you buy tickets at the eye for it. Ride takes about 30 minutes to go all the way around once. Go on a sunny day for amazing pictures and also better view

To cost:
Look for combination deals on several attractions in London. It usually pays off.
Waiting time:
We queued for about 35 minutes.
Fast-track in my opinion superfluous.
View / Ride:
The air-conditioned gondola takes about 30 minutes to 130 metres high. This is definitely worth seeing.

Wonderful tourist attraction from which to admire, with a single look, the entire panorama of the city. On the occasion of my first visit, which took place during the 2012 Olympics, the row was quite long and the police controls were also accurate and therefore slow. Usually everything happens pretty quickly. Worth it.

I personally liked it! The eggs are spacious and not very crowded (visit to August 2017). The ticket is expensive, it is better to buy it with that of the wax museum. The view is wonderful, London from the top is even more beautiful because you can perceive the size of the parks! The sunsets then, if you are lucky enough to catch a sunny day, give beautiful colors for picture frame. Here are the photos, too bad that because of the London climate the glasses are a bit dirty! London has other vantage points, find out before you buy tickets, maybe you will discover that you can see beautiful panoramas without spending money! In the evening is a show

Ferris wheel on the Thames a stone's throw from Big Ben. The access is quite expensive (£27) but the show is insured. The complete tour lasts about 30 minutes, during which you can admire many of the points of interest of the city… and not only. The cabins offer a 360 ' view and are well ventilated. Not recommended for those who suffer from vertigo; The height reached and considerable. Also pleasant is the walk along the river, which leads to other points of interest.

Visited the day before the annual closing, on a beautiful sunny day in January, the view from up there on the city leaves you speechless. The added value given by being at the bank of the Thames and the fact of floating in the air within these glass vessels, make the attraction unique. Tickets purchased via internet, fast queue for the climb, about twenty minutes. In the end, take to the crates for the 4d experience that really deserves, but it is not reported very well outside…

It is necessary to count at least 25minutes of queue for the purchase of tickets and still 50 minutes to be able to enter if we have not thought to buy on the site to avoid the first tail. Count about £26 for the attraction with access to a small animation in 4d. Great experience. A Must-see and do while visiting London, at least 1 time. Since it was extremely crowded when we visited, ticket like (or queue) took about 1 hour (late December). Actual line to get into ride took about 30 minutes, not bad. Ride is slow (takes 30 minutes for the whole ride), therefore, even if you suffer from motion sickness, it should not affect you. We were about 15 people in one pod, with enough room to move around, see the city and take pics from different angles. Make sure you stop by the picture/gift shop once you get off the pod: your pictures will be ready in a minute, well worth the price.

It can be hard to get really good pictures because of the glass distortions, propensity for windows to fog, and the bright interior lights. Best bet is to find smooth parts of the windows and use your hand to quickly try to shield out reflections before the window fogs. The views during the day and night are different, but both stunning — the night time photos are definitely cooler if you have a camera that does well in low light, but it's easier to identify landmarks during the day.

You can see from 135 meters height, especially the brown sludge of the river Thames, Big Ben, and 60-70% of the nacelles and the structure of the Eyes next to and below you. In good weather you have a view of 40+/ — miles. Good weather means no Smog or fog, and not too much afternoon sun, which ends only the view of the deluded, lthough I don't want you to do is to ask you to lunch time in the queue, unless you are like two hours and want to be in a full cabin, in the you then hardly anything will get to see. If you have a lot of luck, and I wish you the very, you see the back of the City of London (the banking district) and the Shard, in front of St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Bridge (on the Ferris wheel is also located), and other bridges over the river, Westminster Abbey and the Buckingham Palace and the Parks around it, and tons of grey houses. I hope I could help you,
Irene Adler

With the Express Ticket past the snake, otherwise we would have been at least 30 minutes in the Checkout line, and 1 hour on the wheel were. Got a good day for Sightseeing. Pleasant journey, but I'd probably do it again.

When the weather is nice, it has a super great view. However, the price for a ride is very high. To recommend, therefore, really only when the weather is good, so the price is profitable.

Now owned by Coca-Cola, it is an easy way to get an amazing view of the city. There are touch screen tablets in each car that you can use to get information about most buildings in the area. Each "car" is surrounded by glass and you can stand up the entire time or sit down on a small bench inside. The entire space of each car is roughly 10ft. By 15ft. And could easily fit 10-15 people in it. It costs 32 GBP (about $47 American), but it will save you so much time in walking the area on foot to get the same information. I would HIGHLY recommend this ride. It lasts about 30-45 minutes and you have a tremendous amount of time to get 360 degree pictures/video of the area.

Site very cheap London. The area is quite nice, especially for big ben and the river area. Not got on the ferris wheel because that cheap is not exactly, but it's well worth taking a walk one afternoon.

Very nice but an excessive price for what it is. It is unfair to pay about 30€ per person for a trip of less than an hour to see London from a giant ferris wheel. Very nice figure of Angelina in the queue for the tickets.

Excellent view of London that changes due to the constant movement. Highly recommended, if but once. The price is very steep for what is offered however, and the supplementary attractions, such as the 4D experience, are not worth it at all. It honestly was more or less an advertisement for the ride we just paid to go on. If you have some spare £, go for it, but there are other ways to see the city. But if the price doesn't scare you, the trip is very nice, and picturesque.

Great place to see wonderful views of London, even in the rain! Try and go out of peak season if you can as the queues can get quite long. I'd also recommend getting a combined ticket with the riverboat cruise as this is an excellent way to see more and find out more about London.

The London Eye is simply stunning. It is the first Time in front of it/below it, you will be overwhelmed by the size almost. We used the Combi to visit the Ticket of Merlin Entertainment the London Eye. 3 entries for 48£ what more could you want. The wait time kept us in the borders, after 5 minutes we were in the gondola. It seems to pay off on work days to do Sightseeing. The view is phenomenal. It has no tower. Definitely worth a visit.

We were in London last year and have also visited the London Eye. Breathtaking views over the whole of London because of the relatively high price for the Ticket is worth. After the gondola ride, not necessarily London Eye 4-D Experience Eye visit across London and included in the ticket price very nicely made 4D Show, it's worth it. We will go this year again in the autumn to London and, of course, the London Eye enjoy.

The prices are the same with the other sights. The London Eye is said to be the cheapest. However, one should think in tourists times in the Evening and in the Morning, however, the Fast Trek Ticket, which is £ 5 more it costs (25. 3. 16). However, for A shorter queue to get to the Ticket: 20 min and for another, shorter queue for the London Eye approx. 25 min. Who is present there, quickly realizes that it is the £5 is to pay more value. The Ticket cost with a surcharge of £ 31. The journey takes 30 min and it is not standing still. You need not be afraid because of the height and the view is, in my opinion, is truly stunning. We were there for the sunset when the weather is nice. You can sit in the gondolas, and. Alcohol is prohibited, and there is a safety check with a metal detector. At the end of the trip, a group picture will be made at the points in the yellow footprints at the gondola window. The photo with the photo book at a cost of £ 24, which seems quite expensive. You can combine the London Eye with other attractions and pretty much save a lot of money. For us it has paid off the London Eye as the culmination of our holiday really. Highly recommend to you.

Offers nice views of london at a price. Make sure it's a clear day otherwise you will be disappointed. Goes around slowly so even those scared of heights will be ok. It's really nice if you come just before sunset, and the queues will be shorter then too, otherwise queues can be huge during the day, there may be some queueing to actually buy the ticket too, so it's worth buying online. Fast track ticket helps cut the queue to get on, but it's really expensive for what I consider to already be a pricey attraction.

Usually deals on this place to keep the otherwise somewhat prohibitive price down. Decent view at the top especially on a clear day, and it's a nice, slow rotation, so you have a decent amount of time up there. Worth doing. (Topcashback + Virgin experience a good combo for a reasonable price).

The London Eye is a nice and convenient way to see some of London's sights. You are treated to a relaxing (unless your capsule is filled to the limit) aerial view of London which roughly lasts 30 mins. With good weather you can see very far with views of Wembley Stadium roughly 12 miles away possible, however, visibility will be significantly worse in bad weather. For the price you pay (~£30 a ticket depending if you book on the day, online or if someone from another attraction advertises discount tickets), it might be better off exploring London's sights on foot especially as an all day tube pass costs significantly less.

Just great, even in bad weather you can still have a great view! Cards are previously in the Internet with Fast Track. We were able to go through and were only to 11. In the gondola, which was awesome! My best birthday gift ever. Little tip, those who don't want to spend so much, the Tower Bridge, it also has a great view, and even in the ground, a Skywalk admitted for 9 pounds per Person.

There was a long queue for boarding, but this moved quickly and was very well organised. We boarded only 10 minutes later than our booked timeslot. The flight on the Eye lasts approximately 30 minutes and affords you some fantastic views of London, seeing aspects of buildings you could never see from ground level. The capsules are clean, modern and give you a full 360 degree view. The glass is very clean, so good for photography. We visited on a bank holiday, so although busy, the capsules were not overcrowded. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

At some point everyone needs to go on the London eye. I have been to London more times than I can remember and you think you know it but seeing it from high up is amazing. Like many things you have to hope the weather is on your side. If it's cloudy or foggy it's not that great which of course isn't there fault. Of however it's a nice clear sunny day the view is great. I have even been at night when all the lights are on. What's also great is you can use your Merlin pass if you have one which you also use for Legoland, Thorpe Park etc.

When visiting London, you can't not go for a ride on the London Eye. It's the only way to see all the other things you didn't have time to visit on foot. We did the Champagne ride, which I would highly recommend. We skipped any lines that were outside, got to wait in the warmth while the rest of the riders showed up for the appointed time, had a guide in our pod and of course a glass on champagne on the wheel. For a romantic 30 mins, take a spin, you won't be disappointed.

A trip to London is not complete without a visit to the London Eye.  Once on top the view of London is breathtaking, the wheel takes 30 minutes to go around, the capsule is not over crowded allowing you 360° view of the city. The only downside is you have to queue for quite a while to buy tickets. The best view of London!  Highly recommended.
