Clean, comfortable, friendly, convenient and at a reasonable price for London.

Stayed here on two separate occasions a while a go. Both times the receptionists were friendly and helpful enough and the room was well equipped and clean. Both times on return from evening out and needing a shower the water was cold. On reporting this there was no interest, apology or assistance just lame excuses. The first time staying was fortunate enough not to endure the breakfast as was up too late. On the second stay went down to breakfast where the facility was overcrowded. There was extremely limited choice and what was available was extremely poor. Absolutely no consideration for dietary requirements even though I had stated mine prior to booking. Lastly, the coffee was terrible. In the end had no choice but to eat elsewhere. As said these stays were quite a while ago so things may have improved but I will not be taking the risk in staying again it was too stressful.

Reception staff were very helpful, even helping with our luggage as my wife and I carried 2 children and multiple bags in out of the rain! Room was clean and modern, as was the rest of the hotel. Slept well, room was on the ground floor but couldn't hear the traffic. Breakfast options were good and plentuful which was useful when you have to find something to please a 4 year old and a 1 year old. Very close to tube station and would definitely stay again.

Nice, decent, cozy, comfortable rooms. Awesome staff that handle kitchen. They should think of more breakfast options rather than repeating the same thing every day.

Pleasant hotel, well located. Room large enough, clean. Staff friendly.
City is easily accessible on foot, bus or tube.
Hotel is now also accessible by car without city tolls. Parking is a bit scarce.

Terrible hotel. Book if you have low standards. The lady at Reception (with the big crucifix round her neck) was exceptionally rude. Room was clean. TV was in a position where you couldn't watch it, the bathroom was dated and in poor condition and the traffic on the road was noisy. I live in Kennington (less than 700 metres from the hotel and I'm local) and only stayed there as I had guests staying in my apartment. I'm only glad they weren't subjected to this hotel. This is clearly another tourist trap when the city has so many good alternatives available.

Excellent value for money. Good location. Nicely sized rooms and an ok breakfast included in the price. Slightly understaffed and the bar ain't great shakes. Well recommended!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the usual buffet and there were plenty of options to choose from. Hotel rooms were clean and modern, and accessible room we had was very good, even with light switches at lower level. Only a ten minute walk to the Oval cricket ground too.

Good value for money and very well served by the transport.

Terrible experience. £125 per night for a single room and I didn't get a wink of sleep. The rooms aren't soundproof and the noise from the street is terrible. So if you definitely need some rest don't go there. I expected more from Holiday Inn and at this price.

Breakfast in the. Average, there is not much variety, but for those who make a sober breakfast. E. Without too many pretensions is fine.
is positioned on the shore. Of the Thames opposite to all the attractions. However, it is close to the Vauxhall train station and at 200 MT there are bus stops (2 and 88) that take you almost anywhere!

Rooms are great, with plenty of space and are modern in look. Facilities are basic though. It's an express hotel so it's understandable. There is an eating area where they serve a basic menu and breakfast in the morning which is included for everyone. Make sure to join the membership programme even if you don't plan to use them regularly. You'll get a free drink or points.

9 out of 10 points disadvantage: in rooms on the street side you can hear the street — if one disturbs you (as well as me) — > Ohropax.
Advantages: Good staff, good rooms, clean, also the bathroom. Wi-Fi is free, and in every room there is a smartphone for surfing and making calls that you can also take to the city.
Hotel has easy access to buses and underground and also on foot is central London within acceptable time (15 minutes).
Breakfast: Good, unspectacular, but completely adequate. Water, juice, various coffee variations. Scrambled eggs, bacon, cumberland sausage, beans. Various cereals, milk, yogurt, jams, toast, croissants.
Conclusion: The street noise at night was a bit disturbing and I used Ohropax so it was super fine.
Despite this small shortcoming, I am talking about a clear recommendation. If I am back in London I would go there without hesitation.

Nice hotel not far from Vauxhall station. Bus at the door. Rooms are large and clean. In the surrounding area you will find shops of daily use. At breakfast, as mentioned before, little variety. Nice and helpful staff. Rooms on the main street are noisy.

Great hotel. Staff very helpful. The rooms are well presented with everything you would need to hand.

The hotel is located far away, although at 7/8 blocks you have the Metro. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is standard. They leave you in the room an electric kettle with cups with tea and coffee, the first day we could not use it because it did not work. The next day we were placed one that if it worked, the employees were very friendly and there are several of them who speak Spanish. The girls who are in the breakfast area very nice.

Really good hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Stayed here for just one night but found the rooms to be clean and modern. Beds very comfortable and amenities all working well. We had booked two double rooms accidentally but there were five of us including the Kids. However, Aaron on reception quickly offered us a family room when we asked about extra bedding and was very helpful. The breakfast was quite good too and breakfast bar well-stocked. For a fairly small hotel in Vauxhall we really enjoyed our short stay.

Good location. The room was clean and spacious enough. The breakfast quality was good too. The only issue was the behavior of staff at the reception desk. Some are quite helpful while some should put more effort while talking and dealing with customers.

We came to London for only one night. When we arrived, we had only one bed for my wife, my two children, and myself. I checked the booking I had, and realized I booked a single, and not a family room. I called the front desk to ask for an extra blanket, as I was going to sleep on the floor and my family would take the bed. The front desk asked why, and I told them my mistake. Within 5 minutes they returned and told me they would not be giving us an extra blanket, but rather, gave us a family room with no extra charge. I travel for a living and have never come across a hotel staff with such great customer service and understanding. I will stay here every time I come to London for that reason alone!

Got a good night's sleep and room was clean and more than adequate for my needs. Choice of breakfast was good enough and catered for me even though I am diabetic.

Excellent breakfast, 10 minutes walk from Vauxhall station. Nicely decorated rooms with high ceilings. Our room also had a free mobile phone with unlimited data and calls for use during the duration of our stay.

Stayed at the hotel for a work event and it was pretty standard hotel. It is around a 10 minute walk from Vauxhall Underground Station along the main road. Room was nice, bathroom as well. Came with a towel and a few minutes toiletries. Bed not as comfy as other places but good enough for one night.

Beautifully renovated rooms, mine has unfortunately smelled musty. Breakfast is mass handling and offers very little choice. Parking is available, but should be reserved beforehand, as the number is very small. To explore London, you have to use public transport (about a 10-minute walk) or the car. You shouldn't be put off by the mood of the receptionists — maybe they convey a "sense of welcome" another day.

Hotel has had a re-fit and it's great inside. Staff were helpful and friendly, saying hello as you passed them or stood with them in the lift… not like London at all. Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. I didn't use it but there is a mobile which you can take away to show you the sights etc. Room has tea/coffee facilities, a safe, TV and hanging space. Breakfast wasn't too busy with a choice of hot and cold breakfasts. It was about 10min walk from tube station. A number of pubs close by. We went to the pub opposite which was quiet at 4.30pm. Later moved to the Griffin which had great food and atmosphere. Later we returned to the first pub by which time it was really busy with great atmosphere and late drinking Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The place is good, it's 10 mins walk to vauxhall station and close to Parliament street and West Minister Abey, staff are nice except for one reception she is not helpful and not accommodating. Room is nice and wide. Breakfast nice! Recommend.

Nice hotel, clean, affordable. 5min walking to Vauxhall. I found an offer on booking, 25%off. Wi-Fi is free, toilets are ok, bed is very comfortable and everything is cleaned daily. Worth the price absolutely.

Spotlessly clean very spacious rooms, room had everything we needed really comfy bed and pillows. Very happy, smiley and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast spread absolutely great value for money all in all. Would definitely stop here again.

Good, clean, professional. I haven't a single bad thing to say about the hotel itself. It's a bit of a walk to each of the tube stations it's close to… that is the worst I could say.

Quiet, friendly staff. Room came with a free smart phone, with data and calls, which made walking around London easy. Walked all over because of it and the location of the hotel.

The rooms are small, and the breakfast is not very good, Not far from the metro and the bus station,

Convenient location for those looking for accommodation in the Vauxhall and Lambeth area but stay elsewhere if you haven't already booked. Customer service is really poor and the hotel feels more like a security compound than a hotel. The staff hassle you about leaving and entering the hotel after midnight and ask you for your ID to check you're the intended guests. For a building so close to the centre of London's nightlife scene and home to some of the biggest and best known clubs in London, I'd expect the hotel management to be a little more understanding of the fact that guests aren't going to be staying here for the same reasons as a hotel located in Oxford Street or Canary Wharf for instance.

As platinum priority member we expected similar experience to other stays elsewhere at ihg group. There was no offer of points which only were given when requested and the room was on ground floor so no upgrade even tho hotel looked quiet.

Since this changed hotel changed hands, The price has doubled … Parking space is limited and cost extra £20 a night … The hotel is very nice but sadly a those price, we has a family can rent a house for 2 nights.
