The Massaman was one of the best I’ve ever had. The fish and chips were ok but the the fish was very thin.

On our way to the Hilton the driver said we needed to stop in here and have a pint. Good local vibe. Tasty food. People were popping in and out and everyone seemed to know each other. Very welcoming. Smartly decorated pub. It was a short walk from the hotel, I’m glad we went.

I find myself going to the Crown Sceptre more and more it's just down the bottom of my Road … it's a lovely pub… The outside garden lovely feels great … lovely bar staff…,

Friendly and excellent service. Food was fantastic. After a few drinks the staff even offered to make sure I got back to the hotel safely. Above and beyond, definitely use again and recommend to all.

Unbelievable good mixer of Thai food and English pub… and also live music, will go again for any of the above.

Thai eatery within the pub, famous for the TV series Minder and Steptoe and Son. Nice secluded outside area. Good menu including some British favourites. Well presented and tasty. Friendly staff. No dairy used as only coconut milk used.

It's a very lively places with friendly people and the live music is great. Gonna make a point of doing there more often.

Surprisingly quiet on a hot Sunday lunchtime but still good vibes all round. Two excellent Thai meals for £20 with prawn crackers. Recommended.

Regular english pub, however, the thai kitchen is excellent. One of the best ive in London. Informal and not expensive!

Richard's set on a Saturday night is fantastic. I just wish that there was more space to Dance.

Couldn't ask for a better local. Great thai food (drunken duck is my favourite) and reasonably priced beer with a nice garden for the summer. I always enjoy my time here.

Great pub! the staff are so friendly especially Oli who made me feel so welcome and his service was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hidden gem. I will be returning very soon :)

We popped in looking for something to eat as we had just arrived to our b/b. They were just about to close the kitchen but still offered us a menu. We quickly glanced at it and ordered as quick as possible as we knew they were waiting. We were not disappointed both our meals were tasty and the service was excellent will defo be back. Maybe book to stay here next time rather than where we did stay not good! Thank you guys.

What a pub. A lovely garden, the bar staff are exceptional. Well kept Guinness too.

What a lovely place to stay… 5 mins from train station, 10 mins to tube. Rooms are great, very comfortable and have good facilities. The pub downstairs is really nice and serves great food, the staff are very helpful too. The continental breakfast included in the price is perfect to be honest. Overall its a great place to stay and excellent value.

Nice, authentic Thai food, the chef is great. The place smells of hot fish sauce and coconut, lovely! Standard drinks selection, good service. Nice and airy. There's a great music night on Saturday, bit of a jam session. Definitely recommended.

We stayed last night and loved our room xx quaint, homely and staff are fab xx diner was spectacular too xxx my only criticism was breakfast — a little disappointed cooked breakfast not included and only 1 croissant left for 2 of us — but was pleasant xx expectations were high based on our food there night before — would defo go again.

Great pub in a really quiet area. Staff was nice but could do with a bit more variety of tap beers.

The staff was absolutely amazing! Beautiful ambiance, food was great can't find a fault. Definitely recommend the calamari as a starter. The cheese burger was lovely also. Definitely will be back again.

Bit disappointed. Staying in a hotel near by we decided to grab some dinner Took a walk in and headed past the bar to the restaurant section to browse the menus. We were then greeted by a staff member who told us the kitchen was closed till 8pm due to a malfunction. Fair enough we were quite hungry and tired. And being 7:00 we could wait having read such great reviews and a friend had eaten there before. A beer or two wouldn't hurt. At this point the staff member did not offer any kind of drinks or ask if we didn't mind waiting for 8pm. He just said sorry again. And let us walk out feeling very embarrassed and quite disappointed. It might be a one off but let down by its Poor service.

We popped in on July 17th on the off chance, found the pub to be lively (Friday night) with a young varied crowd, but still easy to get to the bar. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The menus on the wall were for bar snacks, but a printed menu was available, with more substantial choices. Our party ordered 3 different dishes, all of which tasted great, the same with the puddings we ordered (I've never been outfaced by a cheeseboard before). Although we didn't stay, we are considering for a trip later in the year for Olympia, which is close by.
