It was really friendly, secure and welcoming. Breakfast good and worth the money. I found the place a bit tricky to find as I arrived at night. The bed was comfy. The bathroom situation was the only thing that brought it down for me as I had to wait ages and the fixed shower only sprayed directly at my head.

I stayed here in April with my girlfriend in a 15 person dorm at the start of our trip. After 2 months of staying in hostels around Europe I have decided to rate the worst hostel I have stayed in. This place gets one star for a few reasons. Firstly if a hostel is going to let primary school kids stay in a hostel they have some responsibility ensure that they are supervised in the room over night. On our first night we had 15 young boys staying next door to us who made the most noise I have heard in any hostel and when I say all night I mean all night. Secondly if it’s not children then this place is a basically a retirement home. Not just old people but creepy guys that you have to share an awkward unisex bathroom with. Witness a seedy old guy be allowed to walk around the common area sit down with young women trying to mind there own business and pester them by offering them wine. This was disgusting and alone made the environment feel off. In general the rooms were cramped and the small lockers meant people had to store there stuff in the little available room on the floor. Would not recommend!

The place to stay in centre of London if you are looking for a hostel with reasonable price. It is located beside Holland Park Kensington near Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace. The room and bathroom are clean. It has a big restaurant area where you can have breakfast for 4 Pounds. You can have also lunch and dinner with reasonable price. There are Pool room, huge garden and even ATM. The staff are friendly and helpful. If I visit London again I consider to come back next time.

It's a nice place, I was in a 5 single bed ensuite, so no need to constantly share bathrooms or deal with creaking bunk beds. The building is pretty amazing looking just from the outside. It's good if you love to relax in parks and enjoy serene nature. The metro stops are only a 8 minute walk, but in the cold air and sometimes darkness of the park. Those 8 minutes are daunting. If you ever go back after 11PM (23hr), they have one small specific pathway you have to take, and it's sometimes easily missed. The service was fine and the staff are nice. It's good for the solo Traveller as it's not in a dangerous part of town.

1. There is no elevator, the staircase is narrow, the person who drags the suitcase should pay attention to.
2. In the laundry room to see the mop in the dryer baking, do not know what washing machine is usually washing, very uneasy. 3. Everything except sleep and luggage is paid and expensive. The hairdryer is the smallest and most rotten of the kind, rented 10 pounds at a time.

Clean, recent, functional, full breakfast! Remember to take padlocks and napkins:)

A couple of friends stayed there. It seems that they were pretty friendly with them. So far so good!

Set in Holland Park, Safestay is a great value for your money. Quiet but still close to public transport, some points of interest are even within walking distance (National History Museum, V&A Museum, etc. ). Rooms are clean and there's a curtain around the beds for privacy. Breakfast was not included but you can get it for 5£ extra, same goes with other necessities like towel, toothbrush etc. Overall it was a good experience, just keep in mind it is a hostel.

I was just in the hostel for sleeping and having breakfast.
There were no problems with the registration.
The beds were sufficient even for my height (1, 95m).
In the showers, on the other hand, the ceiling height was too deep.
Breakfast was good for the price.
The nearest UBahn Station (High Street Kensington) is about 10 minutes away (with a gradient).
The nearest bus station (Hollandpark), on the other hand, is only 5 minutes away and has no gradient.

Great facility in the center, served by two weather stations and a bus in the vicinity immersed in Holland Park, great value for money.

Great place to stay. But as a hostel, it also depends greatly on other guests inside the shared room. The shared rooms is spacious. The temperature is comfortable on the winter, well-heated but not very hot. Each of the beds have their own curtain, lighting, and USB power sockets. The curtains are great for maintaining privacy. The lightning is great for you that want to do reading when the room lights is off. The USB sockets (only 1 in each bed though) is perfect so you don’t have to use your EU/US adapter. The beds are also comfortable, and clean when you check in. The location requires bit of walking from the main street, which can cause problems for those that can’t walk far. At night it is pretty lit, but it is located on the middle of the park so expect some darkness too. The location is pretty close to two tube stations, Holland Park on Central line and High Street Kensington on Circle/District line. Breakfast is £4, which is quite cheap but also good. Check out is strictly 10 AM. Overall a great option for affordable accommodation on central London.

Great hostel. Something hidden in a great park, super fast in city.

The rooms are fairly cramped. Curtains on beds are not clean. Wi-Fi is spotty around the hostel except in the lobby and communal areas. Access to the hostel requires a bit of a walk into the park which can be tricky at night time. Check out is super early for a hostel (10 AM). I'd say it would be easy to find a nicer hostel in the same price range.

The rooms are suitable for overnight stays of 1 to 2 days. Nothing more than the place is very limited. There are a lot of people in a room, so ideal for Guppn. But you should think beforehand about how much to take with you, because there are hardly any
Dequation spaces for luggage. There are 2 outlets for each sleeping place. So you can complain less. But there are only 2 stars, because I am a comforting person.

The beds are very comfortable, the hostel is very nice and the staff friendly. However, not all the people there are nice (guests) and more than once I saw a mouse where the breakfast is served. Good for a few nights, no more than a week…

Clean and very beautiful frame but uncomfortable bed at possible, very little shower and toilet, no kitchen, Wi-Fi casi non existent, no kitchen available (just a bar restaurant very bad and not given for the quantity). In short not bad for a day or two but to avoid for longer stay.

Breakfast no choice available, rooms too small and cramped, staff partially unkind, incomprehensible opening hours of doors to the complex, no kettle available.

Excellent value for money, clean and comfortable. I was in a room of 30, a lot of noise in the morning a few times in the night. The beds are insulated by curtains with charger and individual light, the common bathrooms are OK, some toilet HS quite often.

Competitive price for the hostel, but the rooms are too small. I was in dorm 6 and there is no space to open the suitcase. Bathroom (in my building unisex) in the evening, very dirty. Pub nice and breakfast acceptable. The location is very beautiful.

Hotel located in the middle of a beautiful Park. Attention, it is difficult to access the first time especially the night when some entrances to the Park are closed. The rooms are relatively well appointed and the price very affordable. On the other hand, the Wi-Fi connection is often bad in the rooms.

A very nice hostel, even though the rooms are for a lot of people, don't feel the crowd, clean bathrooms and very friendly staff.

The hostel is located in Holland Park, and is 10/15 minutes away from the subway station. The area is nice and the walk through the park is pleasant but it feels a bit dark and isolated at night. There is a Tesco and a Starbucks next to the subway station, which is a plus. The hostel is nice but my bedroom is tiny and packed with beds up to the ceiling. Clothes and luggage are everywhere and there are only 2 showers in the room… They get dirty fast and people have to wait in line for a chance to clean or go to the toilet. Some beds are located just next to the bathroom, so people sleeping there enjoy the constant noise of the doors opening and closing. Since the beds have curtains, everybody closes them so there's no opportunity to meet people in the room. And with so many fellow travelers packed in such a small room, it's a snore fest every night. I wouldn't recommend this hostel, it looks nice but it fails at what's important in my opinion: it's not good for sleeping and showering and it's hard to meet people there.

Well the price and attention very good location even that not the best.

Bad hostel! It's nice on the outside, it's well located, the common areas look good, it's cheap compared to a normal hotel; But for me it is unacceptable to see mice in the cafeteria and two days in a row! By the way that when I notify the people who work here they told me it was normal to see them!

The price is great, the facilities are nice, everything works perfectly, the rooms are of an ideal size, the staff is very polite and I have been very comfortable despite just being one day. Thanks a lot. I wish all the hostels were like this.

The rooms are pretty tight, for the amount of people. But otherwise, it's actually quite nice here:)

I didn't stay there myself, but picked up my girlfriend and her friends from there on the morning after their stay. They loved it, and said it was very good value for money. Will be personally staying there soon!

Giant Hostel in the middle of a park. Perhaps a little away from the metro. There is a good atmosphere in the common rooms. Sleep is difficult since wooden floors make a lot of noise and the doors of the Hall also. The worst is the bath and is not because it is mixed, is by the absence of changer or a simple Bank to make things when you shower you. Showers and toilets are together and it is a little unpleasant. However, have the detail of invite you to ice cream many nights and good the moment bath are you forget a little.

Great hostel! Cleanest I've ever stayed in. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Checkout is early but checked out guests are still welcome to use services like showers. Post-checkout luggage storage is free. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Hostel. Good atmosphere, quiet, centrally located luxury and with a staff is incredibly attentive and gives everything.

Awful place. Safe stay! I did not feel safe Before the incident below, I had been assaulted the night before and therefore I was feeling fragile, traumatised and had not slept and I also informed the staff at reception upon arrival and in the lounge that morning that I was bipolar and this is why they kindly upgraded me to a room of my own. I'm also 40 years old. Hostel staff: get out you can't eat food here until 9am unless you pay. Me: fine I shall stay here and drink my water and not eat my food until 9.01 but I think it's strange that I could eat my takeaway meal in this room last night but not breakfast as the dinner is more expensive but I shall not leave as I need to sit down indoors because of my health condition. Hostel: we call police if you don't leave and you're being rude. Me: I'm not being rude as I've not raised my voice, sworn or threatened you. Please leave me alone as there are paying customers here who would like to relax and by the way the police can't arrest someone for drinking water especially as this person has a medical condition that requires them to keep hydrated. Some rude people stare at me and I politely inform them 'please don't stare at me as this is rude. This is quite common for people with bipolar to be outspoken. Hostel: manager arrives, please leave or we call police. Me: I'm not committing a crime and the police would arrive after 9.00 and they have limited resources to use in London for real crime like rape and murder.

The place Is Not Bad If you are Looking for Price The Location Is Very Good, But do Not Let D Be A Sad Hostel, But The Area Is very Very Good!

Top notch budget accommodation! It's not a hostel it's a poshtel! :) lovely friendly staff. Very reasonably priced both dorms and private rooms, superb stylish all new decor, gorgeous historical building in central London. Highly recommended. I will be back for sure!

Hotel style facilities, Hostel style Dorms and Prices. Good value, just refurbished. Great staff. Location is nice in the middle of Holland Park, but too far if you have to travel to the tube station everyday. Difficult to find, especially at night when everything is dark (no outdoor lightning! )

Great location although a pretty long walk from the road but in a great neighborhood. Rooms are good, could use more or separate bathrooms, breakfast was ok.

Recently refurbished, the premises are modern, bright and very welcoming. The location is particularly seductive, inside Holland Park actual and partly connected to a grade I listed aristo-manor park house; but with a Euro chain hotel slickness that envelopes the common areas, and a touch of classic fox-hunt British landscaped surroundings (I actually saw a crane fly out of the pond with a fish in it's beak) However the rooms are so, hmm… erm… efficient yet surprisingly capacious? Or. Or, crammed! I've never stayed in a hostel that had triple bunks, or where I had to chose between standing next to the bunk with my feet on the floor, or having a suit case/luggage. That would be fine, after all you don't care about design or proportions when you're asleep; but what if you can't sleep? (Stress, loud snorer's, bad smells or simply some good old fashioned jet lag…) Well, typically you might go chill out in the lounge/bar/canteen/whatever comfy non room areas. But not here, because everything apart from the lobby or the pay by the minute internet stations (they still exist? aww! ) closes after midnight. So, basically everything around you is closed, unless you want to keep the doorman company like some demented yet socially accepted mommas weirdo. It's London. There are plenty other options. Go Find Them!
