Loved the apartment. Clean, very modern, comfortable beds and even our older kids slept well in the sofa bed, super nice and fancy area and easy to get there. Room 811 had a lovely view. Will definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay at Nell Gwynn Chelsea Apartments. Exactly what we were expecting, from the website — loved that we could pick our own room. Very comfy bed. Had an issue on arrival (plug stuck in sink) and they got someone to sort it right away. A bit more street traffic noise than we were expecting, but that’s London for you. John was very helpful in person and via email. Great location too, close to various TfL options. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to return.

Our family stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and enjoyed our time there. The building is conveniently located 10 minutes from either South Kensington or Sloane Square tube stations. There is a Starbucks and Sainsbury's right across the street. The street is generally quiet at night except for the occasional Chelsea resident revving their exotic car in the neighborhood. They do allow smoking in the rooms so the hallways can sometimes smell of cigarette smoke. The locks on the room doors can be finicky.

Poor service, bit like Fawlty Towers, but nothing to laugh about. Room did not look like any of the photos, very small for three people. We arrived about 9pm after a 13 hour flight to find the pull out couch linen was not changed from last person so had to strip and remake, tables beside the bed were dirty and we had to clean, used washing machine next night only to find the handle was broken and couldn't get clothes out till next day so still wet and smelly to pack away. They wouldnt give us another washing machine to use. Staff not friendly or helpful. Very frustrating three day stay. Great location but that's all that's good. Highly over priced for a shoe box. Wouldnt recommend. One star for location.

I am really disappointed. I spent a week in July and I paid for a superior apartment and the one the hotel gave us was extremely tiny, some appliances did not work and the hall was being repaired in summer, probably they had other apartments in other floors but they did not even bother to change us. The “ bedroom “ was ridiculously small, and of course the sofa — bed was really uncomfortable I think that was not an appropriate matress to sleep on. Also, they say it is an apartment for 4, but there are only TWO CHAIRS so we had to take turns for everything. Finally, I sent them a complaint e-mail and they did not bother answering me, again very unprofesional. I am really disappointed with this apartments and I would never recommend it. Very negative experience and very expensive.

I liked staying @ Nell Gwynn, I had experience w both a flat and a "pod" (more like a conventional hotel room). Flats are available in a wide variety of configurations. Space is tight in both. Cleaning service is daily & good. Operations/maintenance/upkeep quite good. Wifi was spotty during my stay, but I understand a major upgrade coming Aug/Sept '18. Rates quite competitive. Recommended.

Booked a one bedroom studio for work trip, it was perfect big bed and spacious kitchen, couldn’t find the tea and coffee but other than that it was perfect location and nice apartment for the £150 I paid. I had a pod in basement number 54.

I think those who put 5 starts are fake reviewer. Service is limited. Towel change every week! No AC. Very bad bed. It will hurt your back most likely. Very dirty. It has bed bug. Pictures doesn’t represent the reality. No house keeping during weekend. Letting office is not straight forward : (Jamal I wished there was less than one star so I can give it to them. Don’t recommend it at all.

4-5 star?. I do not know for which standard. We were just ignored during our 4 days stay. We required several stuff and they never appeared. Dishes were dirty with rest of food stuck on them as they were arranged badly in the dishwasher. The room we received booked for 4 but it was so small and had facilities for 3.

Watch out, they scam people and take money off your card after you leave the place for things like dirty sheet and tea towel. Took £30 from my card cause my 10month old dirtied the sheet with his smoothie. They didn’t even think of washing it before charging. Won’t even bother with the tea towel! I thought only dodgy car rental agencies do this until now. Shameless. Stay away from this company.

We just came back from our first stay with Nell Gwynn Chelsea Accommodation (not to be confused with that other one). We go to London every year in the spring for three weeks, but this was our first stay here. I cannot praise it enough. I won't tell you what room we liked so much as I want it to be available next April when we go back, but besides the two really lovely women in the lettings office, who were responsive in every way, we enjoyed choice of room (not available any other places I know), a real fridge, user guides for all appliances (not only a washer and drier but also a dishwasher, microwave/conduction oven, and induction cooktop), nice linens, and GIANT bath towels. An especially nice touch was a welcome package of fresh flowers and tea, coffee, milk and cocoa.

The WORST PLACE I have ever stayed in my life. Do not fall into the luxurious pictures you see on the internet cuz it is nothing like the pictures. One thing really grossed me out is the tons of hair I cleaned from the newly sheets they changed. Thank god I brought a 'lint roller' w me and cleaned it but still planning to buy my own sheets and blankets tmrw cuz unfortunately we booked this place for 3 weeks… At the same time, beds are very uncomfortable (ours is actually sinking) OH and also they say free-Wi-Fi in the room but the internet does not download anything basically u can forget about the internet. They give you a paper during check in which explains that if you want a faster Wi-Fi you need pay for it. The dishwasher in the room isn't working. The housekeeping supposed to clean for you yes she did put the dishes in the dishwasher like she s throwing it in and when it finished I opened to use but all the plates and forks were still so dirty… Staff is careless especially the concierge. They don't deal with anything and they just direct you to the management office. I was in the room while housekeeping did her job and she really did not clean at all. All she did in the toilet was to change the towels which they do once a week. Oh and also they charge you extra if you ask for an extra towel.

Stayed for a week and I'm still not sure if this place is a hotel or a managed apartment building. The only thing for sure is that the front desk personnel are the grumpiest I have EVER met — it got to the point where it was actually kind of amusing. Great spot! Reasonably priced, but fairly hopeless service.

Pros: -The price given the location is very good -I'm sure the higher end rooms are nice. Cons: -The website is misleading — there are rooms in the basement of the facility that sound like the suites advertised on the website. They're smaller, less well maintained, don't have a kitchenette, and… are in the basement. -There was a fist fight outside our room door at 3:00am on the first night of our stay — not awesome. -Basement rooms are very small.

Please be aware if you book a Pod room, it is in the lower ground floor. If you want one on a higher floor book a Studio or One Bed, otherwise the Pod Suite is great value! Nicely furnished, great location.

Attention I had a very bad experience with this property, booked for New Year's period on 1/12 and paid down payment (€319) by credit card We were given confirmation of the reservation, the 16/12 we contacted them to get detailed news and they said that the booking had been cancelled because we had the remaining paid NN?!?!?! And how should we have done except with the credit card they already had our extremes? Not to lose everything they requested other figure because the price, to tell them, had increased. And we paid… Dishonest, in addition to the fault of the airline we missed the entire trip and we were unable to send us the receipt of what we paid! Obviously for us does not end here but I do not recommend it to anyone!

We had a lovely time @Nell Gwynn Chelsea. As we were staying 3 weeks it was important they got it right and they did… great location if you are new to London… easy access everywhere. We lived in London so for us it was an easy decision… highly recommend. Staff all excellent, especially ladies in the letting office! Thank you and see you in a June!
