This hotel is fantastic. The room feels luxurious, with a clean and elegant bathroom, and I have a four poster bed! The curtains and windows are also elegant. Ok, the room is not the biggest, but the furniture in the lobby and room are superb, and overall I am very, very happy, especially given the price. Enjoy! Dan.

Terrible all round.
We arrived at 10 pm. Was left outside for a full 20 minutes while we waited for someone to let us in while people were fighting round the corner. He looked either half asleep or drunk out of his mind but I'm leaning towards the latter, barely seemed to know what was happening or even said a word to us. On the way to our room he crammed us shoulder to shoulder into a tiny elevator with no protective equipment… twice… because he got lost on the way to the room the first time (the no PPE tiny elevator bit is being reported to the relevant authorities). To be fair none of the signs point the right way because nothing has been updated (or cleaned) for years.
The room was odd. You can see straight into the toilet and shower from the bedroom area because they made the wall out of glass. Furniture was old and decrepit, stains on the carpet, unclean. Bed was made of concrete. No air conditioning, just a tiny fan to cope with the 36 degree heat.
Not wanting to watch each other go to the toilet, we transferred to a different room with a more sensible design. 'Well that's just how it's designed' was their excuse for a room where you can see the toilet from the bed. Shower didn't work properly in new room, inconsistent temperature and huge leak in the shower head. Didn't even have an electric fan this time, just a ceiling fan that did nothing. Another concrete bed.
Literally nothing positive to say about the place.

They are a bunch of thieves! Truly a disgrace to any business. Travel bans were already implemented and insisted on not refunding. I called them the night European Travel Ban was announced and said to call Booking. Com. I called Booking. Com and while on the phone, they declined to refund my “free cancellation fees”. All the other hotels were considerate enough to refund or not charge at all! So many emails sent and Mayflower excuses that their Reservation specialist was not working when Booking. Com called them, when I just spoke to him and agreed to refund, that they will have to talk to the Hotel management, that I have to wait for 5 days? That’s a trap and will tell that it’s a no show!
Spread the word to not use this Mayflower Hotel as it is unsafe to Trust this kind of management. What a shame!

Really good location, 2 minutes from earls court. The hotel was clean, nice decor and the staff were quiet and friendly. Our room didn't have air conditioning but there was a fan instead so wasn't too bad. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. We didnt realise it would be so basic like just toast, fruit, ham and cheese. To get a more hearty, cooked breakfast you had to pay an extra £9! For a 4 star hotel, a hot breakfast should be included…

It doesn't matter if the room is small, but it's painful to wash it. There is an elevator.
Elevator on the alley winding, the window is difficult enough to open, in fact, live up a little, at night all night the sound of motor water, early morning is the sound of washing machine, six days outside noisy to midnight.
The door on the listing day is not seen, room air is not circulating, there are ceiling fans, but can not adjust the speed, wind super operation and super loud, but a night about two thousand and five taiwandollars, including simple but good quality and the same breakfast every day, that is it! But it's great for the location, and it's very convenient for the subway to have two lines.

Nice room, but small for the price and a lock on the bathroom would be nice. Couldn't figure how to work the temperature of the shower but the bed was extra comfy. Breakfast (cold, but unlimited) was included so good point and, finally, there was good coffee.

I have stayed in Mayflower Hotel in Earl's Court many times and I have always been treated nicely. All the staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is very welcoming and there's a happy vibe there. I like to stay in the same apartment, it's spacious, bright and very clean. They provide all necessary equipments in the kitchen. The mattress is very comfortable and big. I highly recommend Mayflower Hotel as I find their prices are friendly as well. Thank you! I will be back! S.

In all honesty this is not what we expected from the website. Very misleading and the staff are quite rude. We asked some basic questions and we got the rough response. For example we asked for ice for our drinks and the flat repose was "we don't do ice". The window was a large one that opened straight into the street. Not unusual for London but when it only has a tiny little latch that barely reached the other door then you wonder how safe it is to sleep there at night. See pic.

Clean and adequate but that's about all. I paid £92 per night for a 4-poster double, room 22. The room is small and seems like an after thought. It's at the back near the cleaners cupboards. Getting a glimpse of other rooms, this is definitely not equal to others in this hotel. Admittedly usable but very small for the money. Shower is hot and flow is good, although the door leaks water from the cubicle and, yes, the shower and toilet room itself is tiny too. Low quality tea and coffee supplies in the room. It isn't a bad stay but I'm not sure I'd come back. I think you'd get more space in a budget chain.

The bed was actually very comfortable and the room was clean. But so many small things spoiled my enjoyment in Room 32: Nowhere to hang my wet towel, no towel rail at all, only one door hook on the back and I hung my night clothes on that. No bedside shelf or table so nowhere to put glasses, book, glass of water overnight. Shower doors did not properly close and a very small opening to squeeze into shower and steep step down to get in and out again with nothing to hold on to. Quite dangerous!. The toilet roll holder was so close to you when sitting there that I kept knocking the roll to the floor. Not nice!. The bedside lights were a horrible modern crome fitting with very bright white/blue (halogen? ) light for reading by which felt very cold and uncosy. The metal door stop was exactly where you put your feet down when getting in and out of bed and I hurt and stubbed my toes more than once. The blinds were very poor at keeping the morning sunlight out as they did not fit the windows at all well so I was woken at dawn by the room flooded with light. All these things could so easily be corrected. It is as though no-one had thought about the practicalities of how it would be to be using the room and facilities. For the £133 a night I paid for a small double I expected a little better. It is only large enough to be a small single room. I was glad I was not sharing it!

All the service first, I had a wonderful stay! Would always return to the same place!

At best this is a 3 star hotel. It is definitely not 4 star.

Nice and cosey few meters from earl's court tube station.

We've been here three nights. 4 * We ordered the cheapest rooms. Good, clean Wi-Fi staff very friendly. We include breafast for €17. Outside Earl Court Street There are places to have breakfast since 08.30. The hotel very nice and nice. 100 m from Earl ' s court metro station. Repeat.

I genuinely am shocked this hotel is advertised as 4*. The worst hotel I have stayed at in my life. The room was tiny, there was a strange smell lingering in the air, stains on furniture, TV so high up in the air it hurt your neck. Tap broken in the sink. No hot water, very uncomfortable bed, completely useless and rude reception staff. The cherry on the cake? They recently had a death due to a gas leak and upon asking staff about this they acted arrogant and dismissive. I can not believe I paid money to stay here and I strongly advise otherwise, I've stayed in at least 5 travelodges which are twice as good as Mayflower.

It's OK if you only want a bed for the night… passing through kind of thing, but not as a destination. Bed was right against the wall with the radiator, wall was not sound proof, we could hear the next room guest was snoring but we're good sleepers anyway. Bed was not well made (creases on bedsheet as if someone's used it before us). Bathroom is compact. Breakfast was adequate, very convenient location for the tube but we could hear the sound of the underground from our room. Good Wi-Fi and working desk, tea/coffee.

I loved it there. The room was really nicely decorated and in my opinion had just the right size. It was right opposite the subway station, but that didn't bother you any further. The value for money was definitely great.

Update: Breakfast is only possible, when a table is free — We're waiting to be seated in that tiny breakfast room… Con: Tiny rooms, horrible bed (uncomfortable mattress on a blank wood plank). Pro: The service is friendly, the rooms are clean. The breakfast is okay, no eggs or bacon or anything British, just continental.

Albergo nella media situato molto vicino alla stazione della metro. Consiglio le camere in hotel e non gli appartamenti nella dependance in quanto comunque per la colazione bisogna andare in hotel e soprattutto negli appartamenti non c'è l'ascensore. Comunque camere calde e pulite.

The hotel rooms were very nicely decorated and was very close to the tube station to go anywhere staff were nice and helpful we had trouble with our room and they were changed straight away would come here again.

We stayed for 2 nights for my 50th. Room 53 The staff were so helpfull in giving us information getting about. The room was fine large bathroom, clean soft towels clean bedding well stocked… breakfast normal continental… Room and all areas clean and warm, cant praise enough. Thank you.

Clean, nice staff, good space. All in all a very good hotel. Yes you can hear the subway from time to time but this is London and not Alaska. Will definitely book this hotel again. Of course you can get better places if you pay more, but for the money this place is great.

We booked here for the second time now we're in London. They upgraded us from a mid range room to suite. Very good experience both times.

Hotel is very cute and quaint. Very clean. Has friendly staff. Hotel is small and a bit cramped but very nice. It's in a nice location near some stores and the subway.

Fairly decent hotel. Room was very clean and bathroom was really nice. Looks like a just needs a bit of routine maintenance, things like the TV hanging at a wonky angle on the wall, missing cables, tatty paintwork in places make it feel a bit unloved and not in as good condition as photos online would suggest. Nothing so bad as to affect your stay or sleep though. Staff were OK, continental breakfast was nice enough, and the location is perfect for exploring that part of London. Probably one of the nicer hotels I've stayed in in London for the money.

What a great hotel compared to so many others. Beautifully done up rooms and bathrooms, and a fantastic location. Cheaper than most of the dumps around Russell Square in the same category. This will absolutely be my new go-to hotel in London.

Staying in one of the apartments. Not much to complain about. Pretty good value. Nice place. Breakfast is in the middle of what I've experienced for 'continental' breakfast.
