My son and I stayed here last November. Very nice and clean. Friendly staff. Excellent location. We were lucky and wound up with lovely views of the park across the street. Minor negative: the bathrooms (at least in our single rooms) were TINY. I had to do contortions to get into the bathroom and be able to close the door behind me so I could take a shower. My poor son, who is 6'3", had an even worse time. But you know what? We didn't care. It's become one of those fun stories to giggle about when recalling out trip to London :-)

We stayed one night here. They let us leave our bags with them as we arrived before check in time and we were also able to leave them there the next morning so we didn't have to carry them with us all day. Rooms were modern and clean, we had a issue with a window in one room and they moved us into another without fuss. Tea/coffee stuff in the room, but no fridge. Good reasonably priced (for London) Hotel 3 mins walk to Earl's Court tube, would use again.

This hotel has a great location and friendly staff. But the 'continental' breakfast consists of toast with jam, cereals and instant coffee. And the beds are so soft, that we all got pain in the back from it. It's fine for a couple of nights, but you wouldn't want to stay inside too long and need to plan some more time, to get some food, if you have expectations of a breakfast.

Every time I come to London, I stay here. Why? Because I'm treated like family and feel its my 2nd home. Special thanks to London friends Anna, Elaina and Terry for their hospitality!

Decent Hotel. Excellent location, well served by the means that connect directly to the city center. They should take care of a few more details in the rooms, especially the bathroom: Arrange the shower, the sink sprays water everywhere, the flush is very hard to press and it works little. Breakfast is not included: It costs £5 per person and, although it is continental, it doesn't really offer anything except toast and cereals. With some little trick, it could be a great hotel.

Comfortable and fonfortable two-star Hotel. I was about 11 years ago, the rooms needed a renovation and the bathrooms were not very… nice. The stay was not bad, but the hotels in London are not a marvel. The area is very nice, a beautiful park in front of the hotel and houses very London-style, in a quiet and somewhat luxurious neighborhood.

+ For a few nights the accommodation is good, it has good transport connections you can easily get to London and back again.
— at 28grad in April the heating was on, the bed was a bit uncomfortable but that's a matter of opinion.

After booking I realized that I had chosen June instead of July as my booking month. I still want to stay there the same exact days just july not june but hotel would not accommodate and will just take my money. And the hotel has rooms available for the same days in July. Bunch of crooks for an honest mistake by a customer.

To spend 5 days, and your demands are not on the break.

The Garden View Hotel is located about 100 m from Earl's Court station (underground). The room is quite small but the space is sufficient. The room is clean. However, small deficiencies are found around sanitary areas such as strong rust stains (see pictures). In addition, you have to turn on the shower at least 20 minutes before the top floor to keep the water warm.
Generally, the garden View Hotel makes a good impression on me and I am happy to spend the next days of my London vacation at this hotel.

Great room, nice but faulty heating. Air flow through the door and window joints. Pipes frozen, impossible to showered or to pull the hunt. Damage but generally correct.

Pros; Good location, friendly staff, brochures in the lobby to help you think of things to do if you are looking to fill an afternoon. It's a beautiful view. There is a tesco within a 5 minute walking distance. Cons; The "lobby" is a bench that is right at the front desk. The carpet is all the same stripes layout (it might be that I'm clumsy but I fell) throughout the stairs and hallways. The layout of the room was a not what I'm used to. You can't control heating or A/C.

The better ones were clean and every day gabs fresh towels. Breakfast can be saved.

Excellent place. We had a modern well equiped room. Excellent value for money. Would go back.

Lovely comfortable room. Service was good. Only thing that lets this hotel down is the poor breakfast. Cereal and toast!

Very good and friendly budget hotel. Great location at walking distance to shops and the tube. Breakfeast could have some more options.

The beds were an imposition, the mattresses too soft. In the room it was very hot and you could not turn the heater off, the shower is still coming from the Times of the British Empire. The curtain rod comes to you when you move the curtains.
It was moderately clean and it was also cleaned only moderately during our stay.
The location is good, 3 minutes to the tube, 15 mins to the museums.
You have a nice view of the park and it is surprisingly quiet although a busy street is nearby.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just add something else to breakfast as they serve only toast with butter. Best regards.

Much better than what expected. Clean and silent rooms, rather comfortable spaced. Having in mind our budget, we can't ask for more,

Clean and tidy, but yes its a kinda outdated. Beware of the lift, better yet take stairs if you're having a lite luggage. But the good news is very close to the station, like super close. Great option if you need to catch flight from Heathrow especially with heavy luggage strolling.

The hotel is very good… there are two receptionists who speak Castilian and the truth that goes very well… as they guide you and help you as much as possible.
The Hotel is not central but is 5 metro stops from the Golden Eye.
Breakfast costs 5 Euros, I did not try it but they say it is quite sparse.

Our stay at the hotel was a nice one. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was easy to find, and our rooms were clean and spacious. The beds in the hotel were comfy and I had a good night's sleep. Tea, coffee, sugar, cups and a kettle was provided so you could make your own drinks from the comfort of your own room. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the nearest Underground which made travelling quite easy. There were only a few little things that caused some inconvenience. One of these was the size of the lift — it is very small (only 2 people) and at one part of our stay we was waiting 15 minutes for the elevator to arrive. The breakfast was limited to white/brown bread to make toast (alongside a variety of jams/butter/honey), and cereal. There was also a choice between hot and cold milk, 2 juices, and tea and coffee. Overall my stay was a pleasant one and would return to the hotel if visiting the area again!

Decent Internet, neat rooms and comfy beds.

Great room for the price. Friendly front desk staff. Old building reasonably updated. Radiator heating. No front desk area, so can get crowded. Tiny elevator (2 small adults max).

A little disappointing. Very frugal breakfast.
Bad room cleaning services including bed made half sheets not changed.
Faucets and showers out of age.
A friendly staff does not do everything.

Well placed. On the other hand, room without heating, toilets and washbasin clogged with a foul smelling up, cold shower and dirty curtains. Room is OK, decor OK. On the other hand the staff, disrespectful, no professionalism (example: rails in front of the customer for questions and because the customer wants to leave his luggage. ) In short, flee if you want to stay longer than 3 days and if you are looking for a quality staff.

Hotel in a great location. It is located in the district of Earl's Court, Zone 2. The Metro and bus stop are just a few hundred metres from the hotel. It is a 2 star but by London standards it is a good hotel. Finally there is no carpeting in the room but the parquet, though in some creaky spots. It is well heated and there is a change of towels daily. Lacks cleanliness.

The good: A beautiful location, quiet streets, interesting (but small) rooms, and all kept very clean. The bad: Wi-Fi was absolutely inoperable (I spent hours at Costa down the street because their Wi-Fi actually worked and I had work to do). The breakfast was cereal and bread and one juice. Very disappointed in that. We asked for a refund on breakfast after the first day. All in all, our stay felt like 2/3s of a proper hotel stay. Improve the Wi-Fi and breakfast — or make guests aware of what the breakfast actually is — and this hotel would feel much more complete. It's a fine place if you need a room for the night, just don't expect to have any internet or breakfast waiting. For the price we paid, I fully expected both.

I got a single room which is super small for the price you pay (the shower is super tiny too). No frills hotel but I like the location, super peaceful and beautiful buildings nearby. Very close to a tube station and access to many shops, restaurants nearby. If you're looking for the basics then go for this place! But Wi-Fi was TERRIBLE (I was in room 3) and staff went too friendly.

Room was small but comfortable, Staff where friendly, Breakfast was not worth the money, Tea, coffee, Fruit Juice, some Cereal and Toast.

Nice quality but compact rooms. Typical for the area/type of building. Staff are friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi seemed inconsistent, some times it was fine, others was unbearably slow. Breakfast is a basic toast/cereal arrangement, but perfectly serviceable.

A small town hotel in a prime location, rooms are very nice with a comfy bed. Quite small rooms but fine for a overnight or a couple of nights. Would definitely recommend for a short stay, good value for money.

I stayed 3 days a quiet and clean friendly staff especially the night Porter Tony ratio good value only small breakfast flaws little choice However I would recommend it and if it should happen I would stay there again.

First and foremost the area is great. The tube was a 2 minute walk. The beds were comfortable, the people who worked there were pleasant. The price was also great. The shower temp was a little shaky that would only be the setback (Hot to cold). Good find. I recommend.

Beautiful area full of locals and very well served by the means. The hotel is in an old brick building overlooking a small park. The rooms are small, but not tiny, and very clean. At the reception there is an Italian girl for those who were afraid of the language. The breakfast we have not tried, there is a great cafeteria in the street of the Metro, Black Coffee, which will not miss the hood and brioches of the house;)

Excellent hotel, amazing location, just three blocks from the subway. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very nice. I would definitely return to this hotel.

BED BUGS in every rooms! and owner doesn't care.

I was in a narrow room in the Basement home with views of the stairway to the basement. So, unfortunately, nothing to do with Garden View. Clean everything was, but a bit cramped, the bed is sunk and the Breakfast is a bit poor. I would not be cheaper to get, I would have felt even more annoyed…

Excellent quality-price balance in one of the most convenient location in Central London. Shower cubicle is really small that turning around inside is a challenge, though I am not affected. Bread and butter, milk, cereal and instant coffee are served that will be a good alternative to no breakfast. Do watch out the noise of the tenants due to the wooden structure, especially when you stay in the basement and if you are easily awaken in the midnight. Overall we enjoy our 5 nights stay.

Travelling in a group. We all liked the cleanliness and helpfulness. The location allowed us to make the most of the limited time available. (Private) bathrooms are small and the breakfast OK but the value for money is good.

Very nice, guys at the reception very available, price vs. Very good quality. Fulfilled widely my expectations. Well connected with the rest of the city. A small continental breakfast is provided to organize your day. My room was very small but to be alone and just go to sleep at the hotel was perfect.

The rooms were really small, so the bathroom. But the place is really good — underground about 3 minuttes and shop about 5 min.

Hotel located in a very convenient for Central London, clean comfortable, friendly and informed. Speak several languages including Italian. A few critical points: rooms quite small (we recommend # 1), enough breakfast although does not vary (toast-butter-jam-cereal-milk-tea-juice).

Small single room but lovely. Bathroom and room very clean. The complimentary breakfast doesn't have much variety but it is free. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Registration Desk is open 24 hours and the hotel has free Wi-Fi.

No help from receptionist at arrival, had to find the roomby ourself, witch was located in the basement. (had room 55, witch was located between room 60 and 59, so difficult to find) The small bed was placed next to the central heating and a window that coulnt close proberly. So if you want to cathch at cold, please go there. Breakfast room and breakfast is lousy.

Very old bedding and a musky smell in the room. Rooms small and walls paper thin, making it a noisy place to stay. Breakfast room too small and couldn't seat all the guests, we ended up going somewhere else for breakfast.
