I stayed in chelsea hotel at the Christmas day, unfortunately my husband dont feel really well, the owner is execellent and helpful and lovely we puck up to the hospital, the hotel is clean, spacious bad and beautiful bathroom we came back in Chelsea hotel.

I stayed at the Chelsea House for six nights in September 2018. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was nice with a fantastic bathroom and shower. The room was basic but comfortable. It was clean, comfortable and had friendly staff. Quite reasonably priced for central London as well. It's an easy five block walk to the Earl's Court Underground station. Several nice pubs (notably the Pembroke and the Bolton around the corner) and some nice restaurants (like the fantastic Gojk, on the Old Brompton Rd. ). I would stay there again with out a second thought. Convenient, clean, reasonably priced small independent hotel. Btw, Earl's Court is on the Picadilly line which has direct service to Heathrow airport, an added convenience when staying there. I wish them success and will look to stay there again on my next trip to London. Steve Gannon

Room small but decent and clean but enough to spend the night there when visiting London all day! Bathroom redone, small but morderne… Breakfast not terrible and unsympathetic staff. Typical and nice neighborhood with small shops everywhere and metro nearby…

Great room, tidy. Breakfast are ok, but if you get a room in a basement, theres no windows (technically there is — facing a wall) abd room is full of smoke because smoking room just outside in the corridor.

Three stars for the location, quiet area and just minutes from Earl's Court tube stop. Room clean enough, okay as a place to sleep at night without big pretensions. Painful note: Breakfast leaves a little to be desired.

The hotel is conveniently located a 5 minute walk from Earls Court station, which is a good tube station for tourists. There are some local eating options that looked decent. The room itself is satisfactory. The room looked clean and the staff makes your bed for you but does not change the sheets. There is a breakfast service every morning and the staff is good at making food available. However, the staff can be seen smoking directly in front of the hotel frequently and can be relatively unfriendly if you have small requests for them.

Very helpful staff, good room at a good price and breakfast included. They kept my luggage on the day of departure, it's worth checking beforehand if you want to leave luggage after six. Would consider stopping again if in the area.

Great spacious room. Downside family room on 3rd floor no lift. Friendly check in staff. Down side breakfast staff rude and obnoxious not helpful tutting at you and watching everything you take (considering it's a buffet cold breakfast) close to earls court station and of course Stamford bridge. Downside it's on a main road so traffic constantly going 24/7.

Very bad experience! First Got penalty by traffic inspector, even we asked staff members where to park and as they said we have parked our car and next morning we got fine, and staff blaming each other no one taking responsibility! Secondly they dont clean room nicely! Horrible room B2 in basement, no access for fresh air staff is good at talking not on work, I went in kitchen to warm milk for my young one I saw fruit flies on rotten lemon …

Nice friendly staff with a chilled atmosphere and decent size clean/tidy rooms. Comfy beds, wall mounted TV, Fridge Freezer and a well equip wash room with a modern shower and wash basin. Unfortunately the room we stayed in (No 22) had what may aswell have been single glazed windows. This led to a very disturbed night 'sleep'. Not sure about the 'secure luggage hold' either. It's nice to be able to trust people but the luggage cupboard is an unsupervised lower floor outhouse. Anyone within the hotel can access it with a key obtained from reception No questions asked. Other than that, breakfast was Ok. A selection of 5 cereals or toast, croissants served with hot or cold drinks. If I stayed here again I would definitely take ear plugs for bed.

Good location The rooms are a little small and the staff could be a little nicer but I keep the address handy.

The hotel is not big, there are a few rooms and they are not that spacious. All in all however they are clean, although some details should be taken care of more: In our, for example, lacked painting in some places. The staff is very courteous, we booked in advance and paid with credit card without any problems. The breakfast is not rich, certainly you can not expect a variety from Gran Hotel, but you can still choose between salty and sweet. The hotel is located near Earl's Court metro station, which is on the edge of zone 1. At two steps there is also the bus stop if you want to take a ride on a typical London double decker. If you are looking for a budget hotel, for a short stay and well served by the means the Chelsea House is perfect.

Got parking (tight but can fit 2 cars). Had family room on second floor. Room was clean and had TV and fridge. Breakfast was very basic. Biggest bug bear was the noise of cars from outside all night. Struggled to sleep and room was very warm had to switch off radiator fully. Receptionist and staff were nice and the room was v cheap so 4 stars for that reason.

Nice and comfort hotel to stay… and free parking after 06:30 pm onwards any day.

Arrived to check in to my room on my birthday, Friday 9th March, to be told that my room had been given away to somebody else even though I had booked the room 4 months prior to checking in. Was initially left without a place to stay, but was given a taxi ride to a B&B in Notting Hill. Not remotely happy with the disservice and will never come back again.

A nice hotel, simple yet very clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will be happy to stay there again.
The price/performance ratio is very good.

It is not bad to just sleep one night, but the quality of installations is not the really good, smell old, so noise between street people smokers and traffic on night, and breakfast is just toast and croissant, bad coffe. Really expensive for the service… I will not come back, nor recommended at all.

For the money very good, clean and quiet hotel. Would come back. The breakfast was basic, but it was ok.

Upon arrival we got told we couldnt park our car at the hotel even though we had rang up a few weeks prior to the booking so they knew we had a vehicle. Luckly enough the other hotel they tell you to park in was ten minutes away. The hotel is based between earls court and west brompton stations which was handy. The room on the other hand had a toilet that wasnt attached to the floor so it rocked about when sat on it. The layout of the room must have been designed by someone from the crystal maze because you cant walk around without tripping into something. There was half a sofa dumped in the way. So you couldnt walk around had to climb over one of the beds. For a cheap one night place dont expect wonders.

Friendly service, very clean and well maintained building with modern decor inside bedrooms. Ok.

Outdated site. Insufficient reform. Rooms in basement. Clean well connected and close to the Metro. With acceptable prices although it has a lot to improve.
He didn't meet my expectations.

For a two star hotel it exceeded my expectations, very good bathroom and good sized room will sufficient facilities.

One night here is enough … ok we didn't pay a lot of money but we were in the basement with only half a curtain so on full view from the road had to pay for the room up front … we now know why the room was sort of decorated but still untidy and only one double plug socket no table lamps I could go on but… well you know breakfast room was not big enough when we went for breakfast no room when a table eventually became free the Breakfast was only what can be described as basic and that really did it a favour I asked for more coffee only to be grunted at and pointed to the coffee pot which contained the stewed coffee the croissants were emptied from a bag cold onto a plate there was no clean cups and a few pieces of ham and cheese and cheap fruit cocktail from a time this can only be described a a student hostel staff were unhospitable apart from the young lady on arrival this is probably to get our money before wesaw the room would I stay here again? Answer is simple NO.

Good location, fairly close to a metro station. Bathroom renovated, but with problems of pressure and hot water. Breakfast little varied.

No water in basin so hard to clean teeth, wash hands and fill kettle. Reported immediately but nothing done. Slept well:-). No toast racks, slices stacked on plate, mine was a on saucer! Good for price but unlikely to return.

The classic ' hotel ' for those looking for a simple place to rest at night, take a shower and spend the rest of the day touring the city. If you're looking for more, choose other.
As location is excellent, it is anyway in the district overall well-off. A 3-minute walk from Earls Court tube, close to everything, bar, restaurant, pub, shop, pharmacy, take-awey and whatnot … The staff are friendly, the bare minimum you need. Reduced breakfast to the bone, coffee, milk, cereals, butter, jam and toast … Fortunately the same with where I eat breakfast routinely.
The rooms are tiny, bare-bones furniture and heating system that relies on an electric heater that heats the entire room in a few minutes. The bathroom is minimal, equipped with a shower cabin. Big minus are the power outlets, there's only 2, then equip yourself with power strip and the adapter; and also there is only one little mirror in the bathroom, this a flaw more for women than for men.
As first time in London and as a starting point there is bad, but you can get much better (even in the same area).
Wi-Fi available in the rooms and flat TV (Italian channels … but God forbid that one goes there to watch TV! )

I stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend and some friends from 11/6/15 to 11/8/15.

The rooms were both new and clean and warm. The shower was even nicer than the one by my house:-D considering the price paid!
Breakfast is not the classic english breakfast but toast and jam. Which for us Italians is absolutely not a tragedy!
The structure has no luxury but considering the average level of structures is acceptable … Recommended for those who do not have much expectation and look at the pracitita '! I found it very efficient! Among other things the guy at the front desk that looks like an Irishman is really very cute! were also available to keep the baggage for half a day after check out! Good thing! For these reasons give my 5 stars! Go quiet raga;-)

Good for what it is, people expect 4 star quality in london for £70, they should really go see what hilton charge if they have such high expectations.

If you like uncaring staff, musty carpet and walls, broken furniture, finding hair everywhere that don't belong to you, bumpy and uncomfortable mattress, then this hotel is just for you. Apart from that, hot water was sometimes in option (without any apology from staff), and breakfast was just pitiful. But if you succeed in avoiding L3 room, this hotel is well located, so you can enjoy London and so stay out of the awful room most of the time!

Great value B&B for a stay in central London. Friendly and very helpful staff and I had a lovely clean, warm room which was at the front and the road was a bit noisy but otherwise perfect. Also a good simple cereal/ toast breakfast which was more than I expected for the money. I'll definitely come again and recommend friends.

We stayed there one night and it was horrid. First of all we were lost trying to find it and the people there could not give us good directions, we finally found it after about two hours. Then we went to check in and asked where to park and the man at the desk said there was no parking, so we drove around another half hour looking for a place to park, we finally went and beg the manager at the McDonalds next door to let us park in his lot, he said that it was okay but we might get a ticket, which of course we did at the cost of 173.85 dollars. We were to stay 5 nights but I called my daughter back in the US and she got us a B&B close to the airport for the same price with parking. I would not recommend this place to anyone, staff is unfriendly and if I could would get my money back for the night we stayed. Don't know what the breakfast was like, didn't stay for it, left as soon as daylight appeared, This kind of put a damper on our trip.
