Amazing boutique hotel, diligent, warm and welcoming hotel team, divine rooms and a simply sumptuous afternoon tea 🫖 🎂 🍰 🧁 (and the lovely Ildiko was our attentive and super efficient, helpful waitress). Can’t recommend enough as my Mum and I are having such fun here, love 💕 it!

Incredibly small rooms considering the price. No assistance with getting bags up and down stairs. No handicapped access that I could see. Definitely won't be coming back.

Took over £200 from my Fiancé’s credit card as a deposit when we arrived. Two months later this hasn’t been returned. My partner has been phoning regularly and still no outcome. Absolute joke of a hotel.

Best hotel experience I have ever had, so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel was stunning, I’m gutted we didn’t get time to actually have a drink in the bar but me and my partner plan to re-visit and spend a lot more time in the hotel. The room was beautiful with some lovely touches (slippers, cheese cake with a lovely birthday message) … the food menu looked delicious. The location was perfect, plenty about and 5 mins from the tube station. We look forward to staying again!

Amazing stay, very good quality for price.

The rooms are small, noisy, dirty, the windows do not close properly. Staff are rude and unhelpful. They take a £50 deposit per night straight away and 3 weeks later still have not received it back after numerous calls and emails. Avoid!

I ordered rack of lamb, I got 2 cutlets over cooked! we asked for breakfast half a hour early at 7.30 and was told that we can only have coffee and croissants for 20 pounds on the difference for a room only to breakfast included.

Especially at a time when the London heat is sweltering While we were getting ready you start sweating as if you just got out of the shower. Ridiculous.

This property is undergoing a major renovation which the hierarchy at Hilton is well aware of. However, no mention of this inconvenience to potential customers on their web pages that I have seen! The NOISE starts promptly at 8AM every morning and goes all day. This Hotel is far from peak efficiency due to the remodel and should be communicated!

Good quality hotel, well located, 15 minutes by tube to Leicester Square. Bed was extremely comfortable, Wi-Fi was fast and free, good overall level of facilities. Currently undergoing a refurbishment, so cleanliness in lobby area and in ground floor areas not to highest standard, but understandable.

The room was extremely hot. When we called the front desk they told us to wait 20 minutes to give the air conditioner a chance to work. We explained it had been on for a while. About 2hours later we finally got a fan and we opened the window to cool the room off. The other members of our group were given portable air conditioners. There is work going on at the hotel and it was messy. However, most of the staff was very pleasant.

Do NOT stay here until their renovations are done! It is amazing that they are still selling the rooms when there is NO air conditioning in some rooms due to the works. The country manager of Hilton Hotels should in good governance come down to the ground to understand what is going on and rectify the faults. It is so unfortunate that a good brand is being dragged through the mud by this one hotel.

Worst double tree hotel I have ever stated. Top roof floor rooms very old and all the noise (motors, etc) inside your room. Do not stay this roof dublex rooms. No chance to sleep. Furniture out of Hilton standard. Roof window sealing no good. Minibar not found also. Only good think in the hotel is location. But not worth what you are paying.

Overnight stay. Hotel undergoing some refurbishment at this time of posting. Beds are comfortable and rooms well equipped. Breakfast is buffet style with fried or continental. Save money and book it when booking in at reception. A short walk from royal albert hall and tube station.

Good points — plenty of space (duplex suite), good facilities in room, black out blinds in bedroom (couldn't open) and really comfy bed — felt like memory foam. Negative points — No natural light in bedroom area, no light at all by dressing table (difficult to do make-up), couldn't work out how to turn extraction fan on so mirror unusable after shower and furniture looked as though it came from an old staff room. They are refurbishing the hotel so these points might be improved.

The hotel is 9 minutes from the subway station that connects to the other resorts, the area is full of restaurants and is very safe, the moment I went to the hotel they were making repairs so the entrance was covered and they were heard by noises moments Caused by the renovations, the rooms are somewhat small but well distributed. Negative point, we got a second floor and had no arrival in elevator, so we had to climb the suitcases ourselves by stairs.

DISGRACEFUL! DO NOT STAY HERE! The hotel is under construction, which we were not warned about, and unfortunately the construction was not the worse part of our stay. A couple of staff were excellent but most were rude, condescending and untrained. The bar/lounge is not either, it is a dozen or so seats with tables in the front entrance; with numerous guests bringing food and drink to sit beside you while you try and have a meal. The food is okay but significantly overpriced. At 1AM, as I rushed to reception, because no one was answering the phones, to complain of an alarm loudly going off in our room for a 2nd night I ran into a lineup of guests waiting to complain about their respective problems. And I witnessed the hotel manager put his head down when one of my complaints was passed along to him. I have many other complaints and problems but my point is made. I am now going to write about the Doubletree Westminster where we had a great time and I strongly recommend.

The hotel is centrally located in South Kensington. About 4-5 minutes to the subway. Great shops for coffee, food, drink, sweet and hearty, clothes and and and. A great and also very imposing appearance has to offer this area. Parks and museums are right outside the door. Unfortunately, the hotel is rebuilt and renovated. I would have liked to have experienced this at the time of booking and not on arrival. It's old but cozy. Breakfast is typical English. For dinner we were always out of the way. Nearby is also a great pup.

Comfy firm bed with good pillows. Good walk in shower. Staff let us check in early which was much appreciated after traveling for nearly 30 hours. Room was a bit cold and it took a few hours for the heating to warm it up. Room service was a bit disappointing. We had to cancel our dinner order after we were told the kitchen had run out of tuna for the Niçoise salad. Overall a pleasant stay though.

The hotel is being refurbished so not all is smooth, but the staff were very welcoming and helpful. There were problems with the air con and windows in the room, but if you ask they will move you to a room that has been re-done and it should work fine. The location is very good for places to eat and the museums are a few minutes walk away.

The hotel price is reasonable, however there isn't a parking space for drop ping off at the front entrance. The staff is great. However the interior is slightly out of date, some rooms have the smell of smoke. If the facility is improved, then it should be good.

Hotel with an excellent location just in front of the Victoria station, has a subway stop a few steps green and yellow lines that allow you to reach the Big Ben, London Eye… Picadilly, Camden, Science Museum… In a few minutes, to move around the excellent city, as an example we walked to Buckingham Palace, and you have bus station a few steps also that allowed us to get to the Chelsea field in about 20m. And left us at the door, this is thanks to Carla one of the receptionist (Spanish by the way) who was lovely with us who helped us and even printed us on paper the most comfortable way to get to the countryside, in general all the staff are very friendly and facilitate An the things, they receive you with a hot and delicious cookie. The rooms with comodisimas beds, a Spanish plug that does not need adapter and an adaptor also, iron, alarm clock, a Mobil that you can take if you want on the outside with Internet and even have in the room a teapot with tea and coffee to make you In the room we have loved the hotel, the location and the treatment, no doubt when we return to London we will stay in the same hotel.

Quite disappointing, other than the location and staff nothing is up to standard. Staff is friendly and helpful and location quite ideal if you want to have easy access to tube and museums hence the two stars otherwise I’d rate it at one star. The rooms are small and not very clean, they have a device called handy which is helpful but I was apprehensive to touch it because of the thick layer of dust on it. The bathtub had a hole in it and the entire room was not clean. I was staying for a night so didn’t had the time or the strength to complain. Ordered room service the food was cold, tasteless and expensive. If you are a light sleeper like me then I would suggest book elsewhere because there is nonstop creaking from the corridor or the adjacent rooms and knocking sound which get louder at night. Very happy that I stayed only for a night and not longer.

Simply said: don't come here. It reads as a 4 star hotel but it is not. Booked 7 nights for 2 rooms for my family. The lifts were broken and had to climb 5 floors to get to my room. The A/C / heater works intermittently. Rooms are old and quite run down. The construction outside is noisy and had to change rooms a few times given the clanging sound of chains outside left from construction did not let us sleep. The staff did not care about the lift situation and only changed our rooms (marginally better to the 3rd floor) when I loudly complained at the lobby. On top of that, my wife's gold ring was STOLEN from the room. I complained to Hilton and they offered 15, 000 points (doesn't even cover a night! ). Awful place, I would never recommend this to anyone!

Great room, hotel, lunch and near all the places hotel ideal to visit London by walking.

December 28th we are currently in this hotel and encounter problems on problems. First change of room because a light in the room did not go out. Plus a breakdown of all the elevators required that we leave the 6th floor where we were.
Now on the 4th floor and still no elevators and also no heating while it freezes out in the proper sense of the term. I forgot to add that the bathroom light does not go out and the maintenance does not find a solution! No it is not a series of gags. And we're still there for 3 days: — ( ( ( (

Had a great experience recently at the Doubletree Hilton Kensington. What a great place to spend your birthday weekend, staff couldn't have been more friendly. Hotel is quite quaint very clean and modern. Had breakfast in the hotel which was a lovely buffet. Mentioned it was my partner's birthday and he came back to the room at the end of the day to a bottle of red wine and a piece of cake on a plate which was decorated with happy birthday outstanding.

We were very comfortable, staff very nice.

The Hotel was very nice. Very helpful staff. Very nice director. I ended up at this hotel by cancelled flight at Heathrow. We arrived at 2.30 in the morning and we were given dinner to a whole passage. Hotel 10

The room was clean, and nice. The bath tub was a welcome sight for my wife. The front desk staff was helpful, but could be a little bit friendlier. The hotel itself is in a really nice location.

Stayed for a week while visiting London from the States. Was under construction while I was there and ended up losing water for a few hours. Breakfast was amazing here. Overall room was great and it made a good place to rest and recharge from our ventures into the city.

Wonderful location near Hyde Park and Imperial College. Hotel is undergoing renovations and I was told it will emerge as a Curio hotel. The property is what I would call classic. Not necessarily old, but definitely not new or modern. Hallways and doors are strange, but maybe this is part for the course in GB (I am from US). Nice breakfast and helpful staff make this a great business stay hotel.

Good city centre hotel with all the usual services. Staff are good, helpful, breakfast is great. Rooms are small, but this is central London so it is to be expected. Contemporary interior recently renovated. Note that there is no parking associated with this hotel.

Great hotel in South Kensington. One of the best business stays in London and I've had a few in the last couple of years Great service at reception, breakfast and the bar. Fantastic room, love the blue lights in bathroom and bedroom. Extremely comfy beds. Just all round fantastic. … I'll be back!

We have been to the double tree by Hilton London Kensington from 25/04/17 to 30/04/17 everything perfect the staff and polite also speak the Italian, fantastic area, and quiet near at the metro station South Kensington, five minute walk to TESCO supermarket, WAITHOUSE, Free PIZZERIA, clean OK, congratulations to all. Very friendly staff, very nice room. Located in a very nice neighborhood and suitable location for getting around by subway.

I have been to London many times and this is one of the better hotels I have stayed in. The bedspread is so comfortable and you really relax when you lay down. Flat screen TV's and a nice desk to work on. Plenty of space to move around. The shower has a Grohe shower head and it is really relaxing.

Great location: walking distance to Museums, easy ride to attractions East and West. Very good restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Rooms small but well organized. Staff is friendly, helpful and speak English.

No personality. Rooms are spacious and clean but air con unit is as loud as a hairdryer. Iron and ironing board available on request but the iron was rubbish. Weird toiletries in bathroom. Good breakfast.

The Doubletree at Kensington is in a fantastic location. The rooms were small but clean and modern and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. Staff were helpful. Overall for anyone looking for a stay close to central London it would be hard to pass up.

A very nice cosy hotel within a short walking distance of the museums. We did find the sofa bed for our young son not a suitable option. Overall the staff were amazing.
