This hotel was awful, the reception staff couldn’t be bothered to look up from their computer to welcome us, the room backed on to a bar so their was loud music well into the night. The lamps flashed when you tried to plug anything else into the socket. The room was boiling hot despite turning off the radiator. There was a boiling hot pipe running around the room which was dangerous for children. All the tea and coffee making was at knee height so dangerous for children as well. To top off our awful stay a cockroach made an appearance on the final night as well. On check out they tried to add £20 to our bill for food we didn’t have. I would avoid this hotel at all costs.

Very nice hotel in pure Victorian style in a peaceful street not far away Earls-court tube station.

This hotel should be avoided at all cost! A very dirty hotel ;our room had damp on the walls, mould on the bedding a used soap with hairs on in the shower tray. unpleasant staff the reception smells strongly of dirty fried food the stair carpet you could lose your foot and trip in the holes. … a very bad hotel.

Nasty front desk staff. Black mold on walls. Rooms no bigger than a walk in closet. Room is so hot I am tempted to go sleep in the lobby.

We came for the weekend the pictures are not a realistic depiction of the tiny bedrooms and bathrooms … TVs that don’t work … frayed carpet and lack of water and stained bed sheets which were covering the cheapest and worse pillows and duvets etc! Not impressed at all!

Good price, great location; best to leave it at that!

Survivor… We have to survive it. Narrow bathroom spaces to the limit of habitability. No shelf for shampoo or anything in the shower box than in the bathroom. Inside the room no chair three crutches for two people and a micro closet. Bed French instead of marriage. They had to program four keys to open the room. Micro room with no space for two people. Three stars maybe once. Now maybe one. I will not come back and I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The venue is really nice. In fact the hotel is very close to Earl's Court station. This station is on the Piccadilly line which is open all night long during Friday and Saturday. So you can enjoy your time at the center of the city without caring about the time! Nevertheless the rooms are not so comfortable, they are actually too small and I think that it is a little bit expensive. I suggest you not to pay for breakfast because it is awful!

Do not waste your time. This place is a disgrace and should be avoided at all costs unless you prefer to be treated like a piece of trash. The staff were rude and obnoxious and couldn't care less about customers. Room was dirty, stained and looked like it should be condemned. Worst place in london so far. Booked through virgin vacations and am working with them to have this place removed as an option. Not one positive aspect about this place.

General rating pretty good. Especially for the centrality and proximity to the metro. We know that london is spent a lot and often the quality is not much. Here you spend the right and in some ways you see. Anyway enough breakfast and good cleanliness.

Fire? No Fire? With a fire alarm going off in each room in the early hours you'd hope they'd be staff or at least a fire drill in place. Neither. One staff member appeared at 6am to explain it was a false alarm! Walls are thin enough to hear someone turning the pages of a newspaper in the next room. Water takes 30 mins to warm up! Breakfast was a disappointing joke, lots of scrambled egg and hot dog sausages but little else. The pillow cases were dirty. Room about 30 degrees Celsius with no controls and window open. Wish I could have left early, no other guests seemed happy either. I haven't said this before but I would never stay here again, it's just not safe, not even a basic fire procedure, come on!

The Staff are very attentive and acts pleasantly unobtrusively. Fantastic, I found the first Impression when I Turn into the Street. A beautiful Contrast between the Main Street and The side Street with magnificent Townhouses. Recommendations: 1) Continue strolling through the other Side lane at the end of the Road. 2) For Dinner, Go to the other Side of the Main Street, find the small Passageway through the front of the house and enjoy the pub atmosphere in the "Kings Head" dining room in the 1st floor 3) At the Room rate, turn an Eye And just sleep a night or two. For more Nights, Spend a few more Euros at another Hotel.

The staff was very nice and the location was great. However, the room was not really clean. Hair and garbage from the predecessor were still in the room.

The room was tidy and the bed comfortable, but smelled of mold and was subjected to the ladder and overlooked the emergency generator.

It's not worth it. Specially if you happen to get a room in the basement, its hectic. The smell down there is disgusting. This was advertised as a boutique hotel, it IS NOT a boutique hotel. The side door outside of the hotel that is supposed to be locked was not, and it gives access to the back where the basement rooms are, so do not leave the windows open and be aware of this security problem. The hotel takes no responsibility for any loss or damage to your things. Hard not to keep the window open with the humidity down there though. The window blinds were dirty and wall corners were worn and scratched. I could hear conversations from the room next. One of the 2 available plugs were not fitting properly and I had to unplug the small TV to use its plug. The hot water took 3-5 minutes to come and it was not hot, rather just warm. There is no espresso coffee in the whole hotel. The room I got did not have a desk, I had to use my laptop on the bed and it was overheating. Tiny wardrobe barely fit my suits and the hanger was too high for my height. Just hectic. Location might be worth it but not for this price for a night.

A hotel with good breakfast and austere, although with defectillos like the window that did not completely close or stains the carpet.

Simple, quite old furnishings, room small, bathroom extremely small. It should not be larger than 1m60 and slender as a guest.

Bad experience is to say little. The photos do not reflect reality. The room so small that my husband had to jump to go to bed. The tiny bathroom. To go to the toilet you had to put your foot in the shower! Not to mention the carpet stained and dirty, soot in the ceiling. To be highly discouraged. Bad price/quality ratio.

Small room and full of "despondency"… Yes with the "S" missing everything. But it pays well. Not recommended.

Cozy. Variable breakfast. Comfortable beds and heating. Very close to the subway.

Small rooms, you can barely move. Small bathroom, uncomfortable in use. Totally Insufficient rating! To be avoided absolutely if you come to London.

One of the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Unclean, run down, dust was thick across sides of radiator and beds, mould all over the bathroom, pee stained tiles around the toilets, paint working chipped and peeling, tiles on the bathroom floor are cracked — cut my foot on a sharp piece. The health and safety obligations within the room were by no means obliged by (in this tiny twin room which wasn't big enough to swing a cat, was a bedside table queezed in between two tiny beds the table which not only acted as storage but also held the bedside lamp, kettle, and tea making utensils) — the kettle which sits directly at the head of your bed is one false move away from causing scalding or spilling into plug sockets which sit directly below the table. My quilt which belonged in the trash was stained throughout and smelt like sour milk. The windows are so delapitdated you can't tell the difference between it being open or closed. During our stay the fire alarm went off one evening, not one member of staff came up to the rooms to confirm everything was okay, they just left us to get changed and head for fire exits, even then we had to ask what was happening — to be informed "it's fake". The staff had absolutely no interest in helping guest. There was no phone in the room to call reception. Carpet on the stairs is health hazard; bits frayed and rolled up. Lift was vandalised. There is no safe storage for luggage, guest are told to leave bags in an unmanned area in reception.

Typical English hotel with old carpet covering all floors. Average on every sense (quality, price, attention, etc). Couldn't do the check in o the exact time: not one minute early. It is in a very nice location.

Room small but clean and tidy. Good location. Close to Glos Road tube and a huge Sainsbury food store and restaurants near tube station. Pros: 47 GBP for one night. Very good deal. I needed a place to stay for a business meeting at 8.30am Cons: Suggest the hotel install a microwave in the downstairs seating area for guests. The reception said they would microwave what I wanted in the kitchen, so I bought a TV dinner from supermarkets and ate it in the hotel eating area. Saves money.

Good location. Otherwise there is not much positive to report. The rooms and bathrooms are very small, which doesn't bother you if you just want to sleep there. However, Inakzetabel is dirty linen and blankets, mold in the bathroom, a very spotty, dirty carpet, no outlet in the bathroom respectively. Near a mirror, no functioning heating at — 5 ° outside temperature. The staff is not rude, but completely disinterested and busy with themselves. Extras are not much in the hotel description, only luggage storage and free Wi-Fi. There's no more. The WLAN works well, the "luggage storage" means that you can simply place your luggage in the publicly accessible hall somewhere. It stands there unguarded and everyone could take it in theory. The ladies at the reception do not give the luggage a view — we have tried it: everyone can simply take something away. The hotel is conveniently located for London, but the prices vary between approx. £70 and almost £200 per room, depending on the booking portal and date of travel. Prices below £100 are still acceptable, all about it under no circumstances.

Good location Nice building and cozy common areas. Good breakfast and clean rooms. I recommend for its location but do not expect much luxury in the rooms.

Friendly staff. It is very close to the Metro which takes you all the central areas. Small but comfortable and functional rooms for what you need a tourist who thinks about knowing the city. The noise is filtered, but nothing you can't stand. Although the elevator is very small so it would be better to carry few or small suitcases.

Perfectly located, close to the museums, and the tube. Rooms are comfortable and the breakfast filling.

Excellent hotel for staying in or exploring London. Close to 3 underground Stations and plenty of bus routes. Easy access to all major attractions. Good well provisioned rooms and Very comfortable. Nicholas lounge and breakfast had all we needed (hot food could be hotter). Would recommend.

I didn't like the attention, neither the rooms, nor the cleanliness. I'm not coming back.

Noisy room, annoying the traffic of the main street, small, with the plugs behind the bed, dirty carpet, radiator full of fluff. When cleaning the room on the second day they did not replenish the water bottles for tea or coffee. Little pressure in the shower, bath tiny ridiculously. Breakfast ID | Ntico from one day to the next. The good thing? I did not pay the stay as it was for work. If I can choose, I won't come back.

Stayed there last year, no frills hotel, but I was totally satisfied. Slept like a log. Great price for the night. It's near V&A, Harrods, town centre, and more. Next time I'm in London, that's where I stay again.

Staff were very nice. Rooms were a tad old and small but may be the norm for London. Probably great standards for its price though!

We really did not like our stay in this hotel. Looking very nice from the outside, but turning out into a nightmare once checked in. The room was way too small, the furniture old and the housekeeping apparently has no idea what it means to clean a room. There was absolutely no space to place stuff so in the end everything landed on the dirty floor. Absolutely not recommendable, especially because the staff has no interest in fixing problems if asked. If I could have been able to rate below 1 star I would have done it, definitely!

From the outside beautiful, but the nasty surprise comes awaiting the guest in the room. Insanely small, musty room, without any chance to put things or even toiletries. The only side table in the room is dirty. In the bathroom there is no possibility to get ready at the mirror, not even a toothbrush fits on the washbasin. The found bed is soft and well-located. At the front desk this circumstance is pointed out with the indication that the hotel is full, without guarantee and of course at extra charge for a larger room referred to the next day.
All in all horrible and absolutely no further recommend!

First room in the basement was horrible. Got a new room on the first floor after complaining, that was good. No aircondiotioning.

If you're looking for the biggest dump in London, congratulations — — you've found it! From the condescending Indian gentleman at reception EHO is never at fault, takes zero ownership of the hotels cleanliness or security options, through to bed bugs, non-air conditioned rooms, this is a true gem! I wouldn't wish my worst enemy step foot inside this "hotel" which can only be compared to an Algerian brothel.

This hotel is in a good location outside the more central area. Attractive from the outside, staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were functional enough but probably need updating. A little paint would have done wonders. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day.

The rooms are small and you're not going to want to lounge here. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is plenty to do and eat nearby as well as a close tube station.

Just to sleep. Bad and poor variety in breakfast.

I give five star bcuse the hotel is perfectly located in a not too busy street but you are still not far from the city central. You have tube, buses, the price is good! The room is small but are going to stay the whole day in your room when you are in London? So it's perfect for sheight seeing few days trip!

Reception totally random depending on the person at the reception. Carpet dirty and totally degraded (tasks of all kinds), very small room without the minimum equipment: no hairdryer, no kettle. Successive requests proved to be paying off after… Two days! No shutters, no double glazing. The environment is very noisy. That said, well-placed hotel. It's up to you to see what option you're looking at.

Hello. I have stayed 4 nights there and bed bugs have eaten me from my legs, face and hands. I have been suffering for 10 days now. And at the end the otel deniyed that there is bed bugs in the hotel. Yhis the most terrible hotel that I have been stayed so far. Never ever stay at this hotel.

Modest but comfortable for the weather.

Well the truth is that it is a centrally located small hotel to reach London by underground, the first nearest metro station is earls court and is magnificent is so close to the street how five hundred metres, the hotel is small but cozy, has a breakfast buffet and a magnificent halls where you can read a good book with a good wine.

When we arrived and wanted to check in, the girl at the front desk didnt even say Hello, not welcome or even looked at us! She had the look like she was sentenced for death row. Small dirty, worn down hotell. No heating whatsoever in the bathroom which was freezing cold! Beds were a katastrof som hard like concrete floor or some just broken. Elevator broke down. And ffs this is 2016 Wi-Fi should be free in a Hotell! Dont stay here!

Only spent a few minutes there but it seemed nice enough. Parking in the area is expensive.

It is cheap, however having to pay for the internet was unexpected, it should be free. Breakfast not included. The lift was not working for at least 3 days and it is very, very small.

We stayed here for 3 nights last week Tues-Fri and we were expecting quite a basic hotel for £216 but were surprised at the cleanliness of the place. It looks a little shabby on their website but the room we had was spotless and for the price the size was fine. Very small bathroom but for £72 a night in Kensington we were happy enough. If you have a room facing the road then it's a bit noisy but I use earplugs so didn't affect me. Really close to Gloucester Road tube with a Waitrose, Boots, Tesco and cash machine at the station. Only a ten minute walk to the Natural History Museum and the V&A. Took us 10 minutes to get in to the centre of London and only 30 minutes to get to Euston Station for our train home.

Stayed for two nights last summer (2010). A good stay on the whole (given the price). Good service. Friendly staff. Clean room. Breakfast basic but adequate. Negatives? Wifi barely worked, but hey; We did'nt come for the free surf.
