This hostel is the worst place I've ever stayed in. The online pictures are by far not what it's in reality. I did not even recognize that place! It's VERY dirty and grose. The bathroom is tiny with only 6 showers and 3 sinks, always crowded. There was a queu in the mornings for brushing your teeth! … The kitchen is well provided, but also very dirty. The tables, cooking area just EVERYTHING is veryyy dirty. The smoking area is right under the windows of all bedrooms. If you want to open the window in your room, you'll get the smoke coming in from downstairs and smell weed all the time!
Just everybody was smoking weed there. Our room was smelly, it felt like someone was smoking right in there.
Absolutely nightmare for non-smokers! The beds are the cheapest ever, uncomfortable, not suitable for tall people, my beck was hurting because of their cheap prison mattresses.
The walls next to your bed were covered with boogies! Yuck! You are not able to lock the rooms, everybody can just walk in and has access to your stuff, when you forget to bring your own lock. Just two positive things I can tell is, that the tube station is in a close walking distance and the Wi-Fi worked well. All in one we felt very uncomfortable because of the dirt in bathroom and kitchen and the weed!

This the BEST hostel in London. Excellent value for money. The staff are absolutely incredible. The location is amazing. Everything is very clean. It is quiet. The Wi-Fi is fast everywhere. All beds have two plug points. There is a real hairdryer. Ample storage space in the rooms. Cannot say enough good things.

This hostel has very friendly staff. They're very welcoming and smile when they see you. Furthermore, it's a very costly hostel and the booking price was great. Its located in Angel district, which is 2 steps away from kings cross. The walk from the underground to the hostel is about 5mins, so its location is great. Moreover, at night it's not noisy, you basically dont hear the cars outside. The only improvement points I have is that it would have been great if there were hangers in the bathroom and the green light in the bedroom turned off somehow. All in all I had a great stay at this hostel.

I have stayed in hostels all over the world and this was by far the worst. To start our room was on the 4th floor with no elevator, not that big of a deal. The room itself was really bad. The bunk beds were rusted, prisons have better mattresses than this place, the floor felt like it was about to cave in and there was only one dimly lit light in the room. The place felt like a half-way house and the residents looked shady to say the least. When I informed the staff at the front desk of my concerns I was told “If you don’t like it, you can get out”. We didn’t feel safe after being there for a few hours and decided to leave.

Baggies has a real community vibe, boasting a large, well-equipped kitchen and storage for you to prepare all your own meals… and often join many others doing the same. The hostel is fairly small, but is a great stopoff to meet people from different walks of life and be so close to the amenities of Central London. Affordable and chilled.

Never again. Woke up with a staff member poking me asking me to go downstairs to talk to her at 03:30 am. When I went down there were two constables asking me if I took a stolen passport who questioned me for 20 minutes. That was after I'd voluntarily allowed the staff to search my bag to their satisfaction earlier in the evening to confirm I didn't have it. That's no way to treat guests. Make your own bed, very loud music at all hours in the lower level, no sound isolation. Excellent location, though.

Baggies really does have it all, perfect location, amazing staff, clean beautiful rooms and they strike the perfect balance between laid back and safe.

Well, Baggie's Backpackers hostel definitely is one of the few that I really feel at home. Although have to admit it's not a big one, but really cozy with very friendly and helpful staff. I also love the big kitchen in the hostel, which more like a sharing area, not only for cooking.
Besides, Location is pretty nice, 5 mins walking to metro station, Bus stops also just outside of the hostel. Quite a lot nice bars and pubs around there
What's more, you can get some free food there, and sometimes, they run some supper events, so you can enjoy various food from different area in the world.
Last but not at least, Shoreditch is so close to the hostel, I just like it, lol.

I was really impressed by the friendly nature of the reception staff at 'Baggies'.
It was more like a shared house than a hostel. You could come and go as you pleased. I like the large basement kitchen and recreation area.
Islington is a good area to stay when visiting London and 'Baggies' is well served by being situated near to the underground and also several handy bus services for West and East London.

I really like this hostel! We stay with four friends and we had a room just for us! The price is good! In my opinion the ubication is perfect! there are a man in reception very crazy! hahaha lol! but very friendly and helpfully. Great experience with my friends! I recommending this baggies and baggies in Bournemouth too!

Cool hostel, very sociable and great common area. Stuff was amazing (Aline obviously you're the top of the Topps) and super helpful! Totally recommend it! Also location is perfect.

Very nice place! I stayed in the private 4-beds room with my friends and I loved this hostel: friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean showers, fully equipped kitchen and free pancakes on Sunday :)

Very nice place easy to find 3 min walk from Angel tube station. Hostel staff were kind and inviting. The hostel self was very clean. You had everything you need multiple bathrooms a big kitchen and more. I would defiantly stay here again!

Beautiful and central location with shops, restaurants and the Angel tube station just around the corner. Walking distance from the main attractions in London. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean showers, fully equipped kitchen and free Wi-Fi throughout the entire building. Our home away from home! :)
