I've stayed here 4 times since 2017. A great place to come back to when I need a bed in London. A 2 quid breakfast is very fullifying.

My stay is here was excellent and the staff were so helpful and kind. Great customer service in a great location.

Best place in this price range in LDN. Chelsea football club pub/hostel gives you a real London experience. Backpackers mix with local football fans and professionals. Definitely value for a price. Friendly and professional staff. Breakfast for only 2£! :)

! BED BUGS!
This hostel has bed bugs in many of their rooms, and apparently had for some time but are still hosting guests. I woke up with bites all over my body. Extremely unhelpful manager who just gave me a few pounds to get my stuff washed and fix everything myself. Strongly recommend not to book and not to support this business. The rest of the facilities are under all critique as well, dirty, loud and smelly.

Great hostel and bar. Very welcoming hosts. After visiting London, come drink until the bar closes and then stumble into bed just behind the bar. What more could you want? Good selection of cereals, fruits, and yogurts for breakfast.

Decent hostel for being one of the cheapest in London and 10 minutes from Stamford Bridge. One of the bad things is that they charge you lots for renting a towel and a padlock, when you can buy it down the street. Upon entering, a drunk guy at the bar immediately started harassing me. Drinks are kind of expensive but it's London. Rooms are packed and the bedding was stained. The showers don't really work as far as the temperature settings, and they look like they are coated in venereal disease. The female bartender was nice, but the guys were iffy. I'd recommend if you are REALLY on a budget.

I was somewhat nervous about staying here from some of the reviews, but I had a very enjoyable stay. It is a hostel, you get what you pay for, and given the rate it is a great deal. I stayed during the week so unsure what the weekends are like. The staff were lovely, the Wi-Fi worked far better than most hostels I've stayed at (was able to do a solid days work without trouble, didn't work so well in the evenings when it got busier), the breakfast was a great deal, and I was lucky enough to have good roommates so actually got a great sleep. The street it was on was quiet at night which was brilliant, and all in all it had a nice relaxed atmosphere. I would caution that it is essential that you use the lockers, and that some of the lockers are poorly constructed so you need to choose a robust one. There are however plenty to choose from, both downstairs under camera's, and in the rooms themselves. Some reviews mentioned it is not close to a tube station, which is wrong. There's a tube station within a 10-15 minute walk. There is also several supermarkets and the bar at the hostel has cheap pints and friendly locals. Showers weren't the best, but better than a lot of hostels I've stayed at recently.

Massive shout out to Niamh, hostel world botched our booking and she was super helpful to sort us out without costing us! Very friendly staff in a nice neighbourhood, definitely one of the better ones we've stayed at in London! 10/10

The bar is nice. The staff is nice. It gets pretty social at night but the hostel service is terrible. The rooms are small and 1 window. The locks are bogus for the door. They were almost always open. The beds creek like crazy, any small movement and it creeks really loud. It's a triple bunk bed nearly destroyed and that's all that's in the room. Very unpleasant. I was the first one in the room and she still gave me the highest bed and wouldn't give me a different one. No toilet paper. The toilet literally pivots when you sit on it cuz it's not properly adjusted to the ground. The sinks as well. No cleanliness in the showers. Gunk everywhere. No towels (if you want one you must pay 6 pounds). Breakfast 2 additional pounds. 2 pounds for a small lock that anyone can bend and steal your stuff. They were nice enough to offer to lock my stuff in a outside closet but they'll hand the key to anyone without supervision so anyone can go through your stuff if they have the key. The lounge is ok with dirty old couches and bad Wi-Fi reception. Someone stole my Sony headphones from the floor and that really was the last straw. Don't come here if you want any type of comfort.

Fun dive bar with super helpful staff and affordable hostel! The lockers weren't inside the room which was kind of a pain. Pete really made my stay enjoyable, super friendly guy!

If you are wanting to get a good nights rest I don’t suggest staying here. The radiator in our room was broken turned on, forcing us to keep the windows open. This meant hearing fights outside the pub below at all hours of the night. The second night someone came into our room at 3am and turned the light on. It’s a place to stay but the bathrooms are not very clean and neither was our room when we arrived. They did clean it the second day to be fair-and moved our luggage to the basement which gave us a heartattack. If you don’t mind noise and a little dirt you’ll be fine. Not for me though.

Proper down to earth boozer. Also a hostel. Don't come here expecting anything fancy, but do come if you want a welcome and some keg beer. No cask as far as I can see. Still, a great ready for anything kind of place, I love it.

It is an ok hostel pretty good value for the price. I had lost my wallet and they helped me out. The rooms could be better and there are also of beds for the size of rooms. Areas of the hostel smell a bit and it is generally grimey overall. There is no real place to relax as it is very noisy in the bar and I was not sure who was staff and who were guests. But for the price it was overall an ok experience.

One of the better hostels I have been to. Totally enjoyed the experience. I came to the Queen after having a terrible experience from Kensal Green Backpackers 2 and was welcomed by a friendly, courteous and professional staff of young people. Cleanliness was profound.

The Queen will always stay with me. Landed here after being at a nearby hostel that was 14 bed dorms In a creepy environment and rude staff and more expensive. Welcomed by a group of aussies who seriously turned my time into a very enjoyable one and made friends I still stay in touch with. any time I'm back in London I make it my mission to visit as a pilgrimage. Stayed 2 weeks In a six bed dorm, spend the extra euro a night for that luxury you won't regret it. Affordable, it's a hostel not a hotel, beds are comfy and, good cleaning services, a great bar, convenient and cheap breakfast, public fridge but limited kitchen amenities. Not really an issue if your a bag packer. Really close to the tube and inner city, didn't feel scared in locality late at night it's very quite, but it is London and close to the. Chelsea stadium so match days, you can hear the matches and a small few local stragglers will fill the supporters bar. There's a huge apartment block nearby makes it easy to find your way. One of the Best hotels for price/location.

It is a place very cheap, but is very far from the centre, it is quite dirty, the kitchen has no where to wash dishes, rooms and bathrooms dirty, the staff rude, well some are friendly, but in general are unkind.

Staff are friendly especially Adam, the chill out area is a lot better than other hostels I've been to. The bar has sky sports TV and good selection of beers.

Stayed the night after a Champions League game. Lot of backpackers and a few Chelsea fans among the guests. Short walk from Stamford Bridge, and reasonably priced too.

Great hostel. Only downer is you got to wash your dishes in a bucket of water. But hey its still nice.

Was decent enough, for the price! Great deals for weekday prices! Do not miss out on their £2 breakfast! 7am to 10am! Highly recommended for Chelsea fan's!

I came to Queen Elizabeth Hostel and it immediately felt like home. Steven and the rest of the staff are super friendly and helpful, always ready to help. In addition, the hostel is very clean and the location is awesome. You definetely get what you've paid for and so much more. I definetely recommend staying in Queen Elizabeth Hostel.

Stephen is very friendly and all the people who work there are nice to meet. This is pad a 5 star hotel but for the price, everything is there to sleep well and AE feel safe. Thanks for the stay!

It is a nicecozy place to go, staff are friendly and helpfull, beds are comfortable, quite durring the night, excellent located, there is a nice pub downstairs. Yes is a good place.

Great value hostel, had a short stay but was made to feel very welcome. Comfortable beds and friendly staff — particularly Finn & Katie. Would definitely recommend for travellers.

Very busy on a match day (chelsea) very quite normally… reasonable prices for the area.

This is a 1* hotel and as usual I find other rating as if a higher star. No, this place isnt perfect but I find it to be perfect. The staff are very welcoming. Always willing to help if needed. This place does have a bar so obviously its sometimes loud. Honestly, cant complain. Emily and the other staff are brilliant with everyone.

Showers were falling apart and were not very easy to use (eg. No shelves, chair to put things on), but the bed was very comfortable, though noisy when getting on or off. It gets really crowded in the room when all the beds (3 bunk ones) are occupied. Though you can meet some people :) Overall I could recommend it for a short stay, taking into account the low (for London) price and the location.

This was the first hostel I had ever stayed in and it could not have been a better experience. All the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you — special shoutout to Jonny! The beds were comfy and clean, and I got to meet people from all over the world during my stay. I shared my room with 3 Swedish lads and we ended up spending the whole day together at SW4 festival, I feel like I made friends for life during my short time at this hostel and I honestly cannot recommend it enough! (Also, how can you beat all you can eat breakfast for £2?!?! )

People were super friendly. It was a great stay. If you're backpacking through, its a prime stop. If you're looking for more accommodations, you may want to look elsewhere. Also, be prepared, there isn't any food there.

We had a really nice experience. Mainly because of the staff. Good people. Cool vibes in the bar. Special mention goes to JOE who was very supportive everytime we needed any kinda help.

A terrible experience. The hostel is unkept and dated. The staff is ok, haven't talked to them a lot but they put me on the upper bed of a bunkbed in a room with 4 other men while I'm a female. The showers doesn't have enougg necessity, the toilet is dirty, clogged and limit in number. Whenever someone new come and doesn't know how the door works, he ends up with a slam behind and causes people to wake up. The price £15 is not so cheap, compared to what I paid for.

Good and fair price. About 8 to 20 £/night. Cleaning every day. Hot water and shower. Pub nice / nice employees Hand washer free.

You get what you pay for. Nice staff, Good bar. Could use a fixer upper but other than that, £10 a nights a steal!

Simple, cheap hostel. Really old building. Breakfast and pints are cheap.

Accomadations wise, you get what you pay for. The facilities weren't the cleanest, but it was tolerable. The staff was very helpful and will always get you what you need.

Accommodation felt like I was hiding from the authorities in someones garage. Staff was friendly and helpful though.

Desperately needs more access to plugs to charge phones, etc; especially in the rooms. Other than that, it was fine, and best of all pretty cheap.

Very nice and cozy hostel located in a nice spot. The staff is excellent, especially Joe, Sarah and Callum! I would gladly recommended it to anyone wanting to visit London for a long stay (2 weeks)!

The cheapest hostel, really cheap. So cheap that I have found mold on the bread that they serve in the breakfast, mold on the duvets and even on the bathroom's curtains. Internet does not work properly, they have probably a cheap internet abonment. Also the style of the hostel is quite cheap, no aesthetic taste here, you find dirty spots and broken stuff everywhere. The place follows practically no hygiene norms. I am quite surprised that in UK you can find something like this, regardless the price, you have always the right to have a minimum of hygiene in the hospitality sector. Not in UK it seems. Well, it really seems like not being in EU. Pointing those problems to the staff does not seem to help much, they obviously know the problem already and answer without surprise. I do am surprised to see that in HostelBookers this place has 78% positive rating and they have a sticker of "5 star hygiene" at the entrance.

Very basic, which is to be expected from the price. Or room was unclean with no windows or bedding. Bathrooms easy to find but often in use. Friendly staff but difficult to find.

Staff was very friendly! However all the showers are clogged up. My feet were soaked in about a half foot of water with residue. Absolutely nasty! Plus the rooms don't have heat and you freeze at night. Decent continental breakfast if you want to pay money for it. Other than that, my stay was overall good.

The hostel was quite alright generally. You can play darts (and more things, all for free) in the pub which is also the reception and breakfast point :), in which for only £2 you get quite a decent meal to start the day.
The facilities are okay, considering the low price for the room, but the best of it was undoubtedly most of the staff in charge, especially Medo, a tremendously nice man who speaks a very good Spanish, without forgetting a very pretty, smiley girl from Lituania.
Totally recommendable.

I stayed at this hostel for four nights with three friends in the comrade from 18. The dorm of 18, of which there are no photos on the various sites, is in a kind of garage and to reach it you need to pass by the courtyard. The spaces are cramped and there are few outlets (I counted 8, all close to a few beds), but the room is clean and the bunk beds, even triple, are comfy. Bathrooms not numerous but clean. The lobby also makes a pub and is very popular, there is a small kitchen with fridge and microwave and a couple of old sofas where you can socialize and recharge your phone if the sockets in the room are occupied (noteworthy the Nintendo 64 connected to the old TV). Always in the lobby, with 24-hour receptionist and CCTV, there are some small lockers (you can rent a padlock) while you can store your suitcase in a storage room. I personally left the valuables in the locker and kept, like all the kids in the room, the backpack at the foot of the bed and there were no problems. The Wi-Fi is present throughout the hostel through repeaters that go to occupy one of the few outlets. Finally the hostel is located in a fairly quiet residential area and is about 10 minutes walk from an important metro station.
