➜ The staff are friendly and helpful but the look of the rooms and corridors is old-fashioned. The room is very small, with no space even to open the suitcase and the bathroom door does not close.

Basic and affordable hotel. Not that close to the Tube, but a few buss tops away from Shepherds Bush Market and then another couple from Shepherds Bush. Clean, comfortable bed.

Picked this hotel because located close to son's uni accommodation and it was one of few in immediate are to offer parking. It doesn't offer breakfast, but so many options close by it didn't matter. I was pleased with my room, (at rear of hotel) it was clean & overlooked a garden where I enjoyed watching the wildlife, so many birds (including parakeets), squirrels, and foxes playing chase along the roofs. The shower took a little while to warm up but once it did there was plenty of hot water and temperature easily contollable and consistent. Basic tea/coffee making facilities, although like many hotels it seems the teaspoons have been pilfered. I'll never understand why people feel the need to borrow them! Reception staff were friendly, helpful and not at all intrusive. I was able to come and go as I pleased. All in all I felt I had excellent value for money. It's worth making sure you have photo-ID for check in. I didn't, but a returnable £10 cash deposit for the key covered that off. I was given a ticket which on handing in at check out meant deposit was returned. Car was parked immediately outside of the hotel and was fine for the 36 hours I left it there. This is charged as extra £15 per night and needs booking in advance (NB street parking £1.10 for every 30 mins and capped at 8 hours). All in all a no nonsense, clean affordable hotel within easy striking distance of key London areas. I will be staying again.
