This is the worse hotel I have stayed in ever. At 44 years of age and a regular traveller, I'd like to relay my experience. I booked the hotel for a long-weekend stay of 3 nights at a cost of £614.55 (VAT inc). It's proximity to Finsbury Park was the main reason for booking as myself and my wife had bought tickets for Arctic Monkeys on the Friday night. We checked in and had the room next to lift (209) so that clanking and clunking was with us the entire stay. We had 1 pillow each, both deflated to the point of being useless but were provided more on request. The breakfast consisted of bread, sliced cheese, jam and cereals. No milk in the chilled jug so was given a glass of milk to pour over the cereal. No bacon, no sausage, no beans — you get the idea. The tray of bread slices were pointed out to be mouldy, whereupon a disgruntled assistant proceeded to remove obviously fungus-evident bread from the tray, leaving bread from the same loaf that wasn't showing evidence of mould for guests to enjoy. She wore blue gloves though, so that's OK. The room was extremely small and cramped. Opening the wardrobe door obscured the wall-mounted tiny TV. On the final morning I asked reception why the breakfast room wasn't open. We were told it opened at 7:30am. I pointed out it was 7:45 and the receptionist apologised (nice chap) and went to speak to the kitchen staff. He explained that there were guests waiting for breakfast to which we heard 'I don't care! ' We packed up and left, without breakfast of course. This hotel is by far the worse I have stayed in anywhere in the world.
