I have never been somewhere that is ACTUALLY BETTER than the photos and the reviews! Could not recommend it more and didn't want to leave — staff were so friendly and helpful even just passing them in the hallways they were lovely. Saving up for next visit!

Excellent hotel, wonderful staff. Narcisa always makes us feel so welcome. Enjoyed 2 breaks so far there and looking forward to our next one. The spa is wonderful, and the location of the hotel is great just minutes from the subway. Lovely modern, luxurious bar area with great drinks. Rooms are stunning.

Pathetic services, no aircondition, no internet I am here as I am coming back UK from red list country so I am doing my hotel qurantine here. This is the worst experience ever. Very unprofessional staff. Disapointed 😢

I had a terrible nights stay here with no heating the room was 12 degrees and toilet running all night, a month ago. Was promised a full refund by the Guest Experience manager but since this was agreed they have ignored my messages for over two weeks. Its an absolute disgrace, customer service has been terrible.

Really nice hotel, would definetly recommend. Staff where very friendly, the finish off the room was very nice and the breakfast in the morning was A1. Would certainly use the hotel again.

We booked a spa day and I must say for the price we paid I was really impressed. I would have paid that just for the massage alone. It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had, Gabriel was amazing. We will definitely be coming back soon.

Highly recommend. Our stay has been perfect from start to finish, we used the spa and the service we received was exceptional. We ate in the restaurant, fantastic meal, very good menu and an enjoyable atmosphere.

We had a nice afternoon/evening. First we used the Spa and then we had dinner there. Very good customer service, lovely therapists and the food was delicious. The changing room though, are too small for purpose.

I had a fantastic time at M by Montcalm. The staff are friendly, the environment is excellent. Spa treatments and access is awesome. Pressecco was the final treat.

This is an edited review from a 2 star to a 5 star.
I was contacted without any prompting from myself and asked about my experience due to the 2 star review. We had a great conversation and I was asked to come and stay again as it was concluded that my first experience was largely unfortunate. I stayed again and obviously was looked after but irrespective of this I could feel it was a better experience, this is an honest review so I think there is some work to be done around the restaurant service and menu but all staff were great and the hotel itself is very nice. I had to go down to reception at 11:45pm as the room lights wouldn’t work and no one on reception answered the phone so that wasn’t great but resolved by concierge quickly. Thank you to Hiral and Stuart, see you again in a few weeks.

I have just had my 3rd stay at this wonderful hotel and can’t wait to return again. The location is excellent, only a very short walk to Old Street Underground Station. The minute you walk through the door you are greeted by friendly staff and a glass (or 3) of bubbly as you check in. The rooms are a good size for central London and are clean and well equipped. The bed was so comfortable that we were reluctant to leave it. This hotel really values and looks after repeat visitors, we received an upgrade to a club room which comes with entry to the Club Lounge which offers a selection of drinks, nibbles and canapés and even free alcoholic drinks between 5 pm and 8 pm. The spa was also very nice although the floor around the pool and hot tub was VERY slippery so take care. I can’t really fault this hotel or its staff and have to give a special mention to the very lovely Raluca who looked after us so well on arrival and in the club Lounge, she really is a delight. Thank you to all staff for a wonderful stay, we look forward to seeing you again soon x.

Fantastic. Went for our anniversary. Lovely treat to be upgraded to a Junior Suite. Imagine our surprise when going into room — petals on the bed, bubbles on ice and selection of Belgian chocolates. Room was spacious and very quiet, the bed was so comfortable, loved the remote control curtains! Staff were brilliant and so helpful. Had access to the spa, with sauna, steam room, chillax and pool, which was very welcome after a day walking round London. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for making our anniversary extra special.

Visited with my husband as a birthday treat. Very good but a couple of small things could have really made ita 5* experience. My husband had requested a surprise of balloons and a bottle of prosecco on ice in our room for my arrival. Check in is as 2pm and we arrived at 2.40pm. They had upgraded our booking so a junior suite but the ‘surprise’ wasn’t ready so we had to go and wait over the road in Pret, not even offered a complimentary drink in their own bar while we waited and it sort of ruined what was supposed to be a surprise. So a little disappointed in their handling of the situation and I was then very surprised to find out the cost of this little surprise the next morning on check out! So I would say don’t brother booking anything like this, not worth the hassle. However, room was spotless and very comfortable. We used the spa which was quiet and clean, but didn’t have any treatments. Room service breakfast was hot and delicious but no milk sent with our pot of tea… again, just the little things. All in all had a lovely stay.
