Great location. Great space with good energy. Very comfortable and modern (but small) rooms. Good food and drinks available 24/7. One of the best places to stay in while in London.

Loved the neighbourhood (great restaurants, gyms, and away from the mad crowds in the main tourist drags of London). Rooms are compact but perfectly designed for the solo traveller, even for two with the massive super kind beds. The free movies is a great touch! Will definitely come back.

Take a look at the picture of “fresh fruit” that was left in my room today. On top of this I requested a queen bed for my stay because I have back issues and instead opened my door to find two twin beds pushed together. The power went out and knocked out my television plus an alarm went off that same night at 3am that woke up the entire building. Lastly, you have to ask for washcloths. Actually, I asked the concierge and when I got back to my room I still had none. I had to complain twice to get them. Good luck lathering up with a giant hand towel. Stay at your own risk. The bartenders are pretty cool though.

Great boutique hotel. Rooms are small but very fashionable and very well laid out. The lobby area is one of the best I've seen. Laid back and relaxed but lively allowing you to be on your own or part of a group, whatever suits you. Location is excellent. I highly recommend the citizenM experience.

Great hotel. Very convenient located near business and bars, restaurants. I love the concept of Citizen M hotels. The rooms are modern, with a comfy bed and good showers and great tech. Stream your own device, watch a movie from the extensive and recent movie library or play with the mood lighting through the iPad. Also the breakfast is spot on with a good and fresh selection of food and drinks.

What an amazing place. I actually don’t stay there but I visit from time to time to have breakfast and work from the lobby from time to time. The decoration and vibe of the place is phenomenal, the music is perfect, the facilities super cool and the staff super friendly. I always by coffees, cakes and drinks and they are fab. The clientele is cool and people are even beautiful. The manager Natalie is super friendly and does a super job by keeping everything running smoothly and spotless. The breakfast is generous and lots of options. Power plugs everywhere if you want to plug your laptop. If I could give the place 6 stars I would! Thank you CitizenM.

Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff was absolutely the best part; accommodating, kind, generous. I had a rough flight and Drew who checked me in put a nice note, cake, and beer into my room for me. It was so special and sweet. The hotel offers you the ability to forgo cleaning and donate the funds for bikes in Africa (so cool), and the breakfast is phenomenal.

The hotel is amazing and the staff were very helpful all the time. There is a high security as you will need a card to use the left and go in at night. There so many cafes, restaurants and shops around. I highly recommend it for friends trip or weekend off.

Had some friends from abroad visiting London recently. They've booked and stayed at CM and when asked why, it seemed that it is their favourite chain for the friendliness, design simplicity and overall tech vibe. While waiting for them to get ready, the staff at the bar was excellent. Also, great location close underground stations/mainline bus stops to the city. And yet, only 4 stars for the poor parking options.

Update: After being contacted by citizenM staff regarding my previous experience, I returned to the hotel. I spent a very pleasant stay in a quiet room. The staff was very friendly as always Original: The air cooling system is way too loud. It prevented me from sleeping, and there was no way to shut it / slow it down. I changed room after a night not to avail. The second one was the same. 40db background noise coming from the ceiling. The staff tried it's best by providing ear plugs. This hotel did not succeed it's primary purpose : allow a guest to sleep.

This is the citizen m london hotel. This is the one of the best hotel in London city. This is modern hotel of 21 century. All amenities are latest. Breakfast is amazing. All facility like gyms, sona bath, steam bath, massage etc all facility are available here. Currency exchange, gift shop, meeting hall, etc also available here. Rates are also reasonable. Staff is very cooperative.

The stay was spectacular, and the treatment of employees esquisito. The common areas with good ambient music and with all the facilities to work, chat or take something. The rooms are of good size, very comfortable, without the slightest noise, and with lighting, as many other options, controllable via home automation. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Really nice space. Went there for a quick meeting nice coffee and snacks. Charge ports and relaxing atmosphere. I can imagine on a busy day it could feel quite crowded. But on a late Sunday afternoon very nice.

Very modern and cool place to stay. Bedroom pods are small but perfect for a short stay. Massive beds, shower pod in the room with iPad linked lighting and media, free recent films and a fridge with free water. No tea or coffee equipment in the room but can be brought in the bar/ cafe area at a reasonable price. My 24 year old was very very impressed, 10 minute walk to the tube.

Hotel and amazing service, the price is completely justified. The layout of the room is very nice, the bed under the window with view is amazing. The room is a fully connected technology jewelry. We slept very well in a bed as in size. A real weekend of rest and relaxation with the Metro nearby.

Excellent hotel, very modern, located in the heart of Shoreditch. Impeccable cleanliness and friendly and available staff.
The rooms will delight the geeks: lights, TV, connected shutters!
One less star for the size of the room and the lack of charm, especially the bathroom.
Ps: If possible choose a room in height, and see with the staff which is the best side (one with screws, the other without)

Ultra-modern and connected room, very clean and well equipped, staff available and friendly. The décor on the other hand is very sanitized, it is not a very warm place. The hotel is very well located to visit Shoreditch.

Very cool modern and trendy hotel with a millennial decor; fits the whole 'Shoreditch' vibe. Staff are kind and friendly, nice selection of food (prices are a bit up there in price but nothing really different to the rest of London) and the toilets are clean modern and spacious too.

I've stayed in the Tower Hill one before and this one is equally good. The USP of CitizenM hotels is their rooms are all the same but this is good because you won't be feel shortchanged. Would recommend signing up to their free membership as you get the room slightly cheaper. Bit pricey but it's a convenient location and great quality, you won't be disappointed.

I go to citizenM weekly for a meetup and I really enjoy it there. Staff has always been friendly to us. I recently spilled my coffee shortly after having just purchased it and they made me a new one without me asking. The coffee and cakes are delicious. They have tons of seating for lounging and eating or working. Nice place. Can't speak to the hotel experience itself though.

Disappointed. I like this as a hotel, but I live nearby and I like to enjoy their amazing lounge not only when people are visiting. Therefore, I come once in a while (definitely not every day, and not even every week) and work on my laptop, and have a tea. I saw this awful sign, and it’s just so unfriendly. Every time I was here, there was always plenty of space for everyone. I’d like to buy more from the bar when I’m here, but they really don’t have a wide range and not really have food. So I’m just disappointed.

Domotics and automation-proof hotel! Comfortable.

Loved staying here, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The lounge and lobby are are great for people who work while traveling. Their Wi-Fi was fast. The rooms would have been a bit small for two people, but perfect for a solo traveler and even with the heat control I was always a bit on the cold side.

This review is not about the hotel itself but the coffee/bar on the 1st floor. Visited this hotel as part of the London Design Festival. It is a great, colourful space, full of comfy sofas. There is also a small terrace overlooking a great huge street wall graffiti. Service is efficient and cakes are not bad at all! I would def come back for a relaxed coffee with friend or even on my own along with a book or a laptop.

This hotel tries way too hard. My room had the worst smell and the hotel staff tried to fix it but to no avail. All of the obnoxious writing on all of items, walls, appliances, soaps was too much. More flash then substance.

This was my second stay. Very disappointed they no longer permit smoking on the balcony on the first floor (-1 star for smokers). The staff is very polite and helpful and the location is great, close to public transportation and with quite a few nice venues nearby. The rooms are a bit small but very clean and cozy. Great food at The Blues Kitchen.

Stayed in all the London citizenM hotels now, really liked the area though not great for the tube, I used kings crosss as an interchange. Visit dinerama, box park, brick Lane, urban food fest. (Saturday) and Spitalfields market. Like some previous reviews I found the room a bit hot at night. Otherwise clean quiet comfortable and friendly.

Great location short walk from the old spiattal fields markets. The hotel is swift and modern with gadgets that glide you through check in. The room has got a Japanese style with quirky settings all at the fingertips of a tablet. The canteen is very inviting and open 24/7. Brilliant.

Bargain on a Sunday night, small and compact rooms if wanting to swing a cat. Functional. Food delicous and the plate policy superb. The staff were very good and quite exceptional behind the bar, however its all about the room. Free movies gives it an extra star.

Fantastic hotel, with very fancy rooms and comfortable beds. The ability to change colors on the lighting in the shower is awesome, and it is a definite mood setter for couples. Great breakfast too.

Clean, tidy room. A touch small (but this is mentioned when booking), you have to clamber over the bed to get to other side, but the bed is massive and comfy. We only had minimal interaction with the staff but they were friendly and helpful. Great location, very near to many bars and restaurants, less than a 5 minute walk from the overground too. Very funky place, would definitely recommend it!

A really nice place to stay, It felt different, trendy and modern. You can check yourself in automatically through touch screen displays, and get a free drink on arrival. The rooms are small but they use the space very well. The double bed was as wide as it is long. And wall mounted TV really saves space. The most impressive thing is probably the ipad to control the TV, lights, alarms, and light colour. My room was right next to a railway line but the windows were well soundproofed, it never woke me, and with the blackout blinds I slept like a rock.
