I never write reviews (unless they are bad) but I felt compelled to write a review as a result of the service I received from this amazing hotel and the people who make it such a nice place to stay. I cannot name any names of the folks who are employed at this hotel (because they were all so amazing) BUT everyone here was so nice and so lovely… I cannot express how grateful I am to have booked this hotel. The folks here go out of their way to make your experience in London feel extremely wonderful. The rooms are extremely clean and exactly what you would expect from a five star boutique hotel. I hope my review makes you want to stay at this hotel because you won't regret it. In fact, you will thank me for this review because you will have booked this hotel and have gotten to meet some extremely wonderful people. To this hotel — Thank you for this experience and thank you for making my day just a little bit brighter. I very much appreciate it and will probably never stay anywhere else in London.

Excellent location (Liverpool station is just there), excellent staff (Donna in housekeeping is a darling), higher than average in-suite dining (versus most other Hyatt properties), superbly and thoughtfully designed and appointed rooms and suites. You'll be pleased to know that the hotel serves a highly modified British cuisine (it's edible). So, if you're coming from Spain, France or some parts of The United States… You might want to take all your meals inside the hotel to avoid the legendary ghastly British food. Definitely request a room facing inward if you're sensitive to noise as the street side has a lot of noise from the nearby brigade and pubs. If you're extremely sensitive, you may notice the mini earthquake as the trains pass underneath.

From the very minute you walk in the place it smells great. Staff especially Dennis is amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The bar was busy, clean and well staffed too. The room we had 547 was out of this world. With a massive TV, lots of free goodies, complimentary fridge full of various soft drinks, nibbles and they even remembered our anniversary with 2 cakes and a bottle of wine… awesome. Just awesome.

I have been here for a second time and it was even better than the last one. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms luxurious spacious and clean. And the location is great.

No real window in the room (only to the inside), dusty and although 5star chic not 5star feeling … rooms as well too small for the price. Breakfast, location and service was however very decent.

Met a client in the bar. Found a terrific little back room, but unfortunately we were moved on by a waiter as it was booked for a function. Still, the service was very good and polite. A nice selection of ales and good cocktails too. Would recommend for anyone wanting to talk business near Liverpool Street Station.

Andaz hotel be an awesome location for the masquerade even if, outside the temple, everything looked a bit too much ordinary. The dancing rooms where almost empty and I think that putting more decoration next time will help with the atmosphere. All the rest was simply awesome.

The location is very great and handy. It is close to everything. I and my wife stayed there for two weeks, and everything was great. I can’t complain, the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a few unprofessional human errors from reception that could absolutely be ignored and improved. The free mini bar in the room / free portion breakfast and etc were so generous. The hotel also offered free Wi-Fi Internet access. Thanks.

Amazing hotel in a great location really close to Liverpool street station, the rooms are spotless and the beds large and really comfy, we only stayed 1 night but would have loved another. The complimentary drinks were good quality and the staff excellent. We really could not fault this hotel at all… definately a 5star hotel. Lovely breakfast.

Still my favourite hotel in the city of london and some great bars and restaurants inside. Its located in the perfect area of the city. Decor is fine and service very good.

Gorgeous, modern hotel with a very accommodating staff. It's in a great location right next to a major rail station and has everything you could want. I had a street facing room and there was a bar outside my room that played loud music on a Friday night, so you might want to request an interior room if you're sensitive to noise.

Central and well connected you can walk to many places.

This hotel is very conveniently located next to the tube and train. The area is also very nice as it’s close by to the East London attractions. The service and lobby are very good. I was able to check in early which was a big plus. The room size is very large. The furnishings and decor can do with a bit of updating. Overall great experience and good value for London.

A hotel that, from the outside, hides the design and the current interior that weighs, under a typical brick facade and classic construction, is a hotel with a very particular style, with large spaces available for meetings, meeting and conferences with the Latest available technologies.

I'm writing this while still staying in my hotel room. I've stayed at many great hotels and high end resorts but I've never stayed in a hotel like this. Regardless, I love my Hyatt and usually stay there & convince my friends to do the same since the experience has always been good. Unexpectedly, Andaz in Liverpool went above and beyond to help my husband and I celebrate our anniversary. They asked us about the details about our vacation & wanted to get to know us (even before checking in). Upon returning to our room from a night out with loved ones, we found several lovely messages: 1) 2 cards wishing us an awesome anniversary from the staff. 2) a rock slate with happy Anniversary on it (beautifully written in white chocolate) + 2 adorable & yummy cupcakes. 3) a detailed letter noting my request for their suggested places to visit that isn't the usual tourist must see sites. 4) a copy of a tennis magazine because we love tennis! 5) an ice bucket with 2 wine glasses & a bottle of prosecco. This is definitely a highlight of our Paris/London trip! The room is great, the service was wonderful even before the surprise, and now, after experiencing this type of service, I'm just speechless! I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! Again, I've stayed at various hyatt hotels for years but this is hands down the best service I've received. I will definitely stay here again the next time I return to London.

Love the service and the baked goods that they provided in the first day. They also have complementary non alcoholic drinks and cookies everyday! And being near a large station is very convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Tiberius who was in charge of door service on 2 Oct was impressively helpful and quite literally a lifesaver! Me and my mother were at the doors of the hotel waiting for a car on 2 October 2017, around 9pm and were freezing in the wind — he came to us and told us to wait inside the hotel whilst he looks out for our car. We did not stay at the hotel and were just passing by from the train station but will certainly stay there next time now! He totally went out of his way to assist us even when he absolutely did not need to. Frankly I have never seen someone who looked happier at his job and keen to assist! Thumbs up for Tiberius and Andaz hotel We will definitely stay at the Andaz next time because of Tiberius's level of service.   Again, the most impressive service I have seen in a long time.   Please convey our thanks to Tiberius.

Amazing place. Great service. Nice rooms. Very nice front of the house folks. Pillow that doesn't just go flat with the weight of your head. Ren toiletries.

A beautiful hotel. We visited during London's Open House event to see the Masonic Temple. If you have a chance to see it — do it!

Attended for a business conference. Facilities were very good, clean and fresh. The food provided was of high quality too.

A great venue with plenty of different areas and very nice staff. I went to the 1901 for a party and the hall was beautiful. The staff worked tirelessly and were very polite. The hall itself has a dome which can make the sound a bit iffy but I didn't have a problem with it.

As we've been traveling all night, it was nice to finally arrive at Andaz. Unfortunately, we had trouble finding the parking garage so it was very frustrating! Toto offered to drive and show us where we should park and advised us on the best way to get back to the hotel. Toto went above and beyond his job responsibilities and for that we are eternally grateful. Our stay was by far one of the best ever! We found the service here to be flawless. The rooms were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the beautiful breakfast area each morning. After sight-seeing all day, it was nice to grab a treat in the lobby and head up to our rooms. We look forward to coming back in the near future to see our friends Toto and Ricardo as they always had a warm greeting waiting for us at the door. We will always remember our stay at Andaz, and the people who helped to make it so memorable.

I love this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well designed. The bathroom is large and has a full tub and shower. The breakfast at the hotel is delicious. Super friendly staff is always there to help with whatever needs come up and free drinks are provided in the lobby. I grab a bottle of water on my way out each morning.

Not at the same level as the one in Tokyo. Excellent Service but poor soundproofing…

Beautiful Hotel. Spacious rooms, equipped gym, typical pub and US and Japanese restaurant. Very friendly staff.

Excellent location, right next to Liverpool station and in the heart of watering holes and restaurants in the area. Very lively over the weekends. Hotel staff, as you would expect from the Hyatt group, is exemplary. Very attentive and professional. The building used to be an old hospital and is made up of 2 wings — one newer than the other. Rooms can be a little small and tired (creaky wooden floors! ) but overall clean, well laid out. Lovely touch with the free mini bar (sans alcoholic beverages). The layout can be a bit of a challenge if you have heavy luggage and get a room on the mezzanine levels. Be prepared for a bit of a workout! The gym is open 24 hours and is adequate though not great. Basic cardio stations and limited weights rack. Ok for a business traveller or holiday maker but not a professional weightlifter. The boxing bag is a nice touch but literally only for boxing, and not kicking. Free wines and tapas in the evenings. Modern and trendy, this hotel suits both the business traveller and tourist alike. Short of 1 star from me only because of the layout and small annoyances like the smallish TV in the King room (I'm used to no smaller than 40" commonly found in Asia).

Beautiful Victorian building converted into an 5* modern hotel. Large rooms, comfortable bed, great location by Liverpool Street station with ease of access to the rest of London.

Stayed here for 22 days for work. I was upset when I left because it felt like home. Great service. Great amenities. I don't usually review hotels but I needed to rave. Great Job!

Already Sierra Leone Daz regular customers, visit as often most. Receptionist was the best. Breakfast is great. Protocol great. Room overlooking the place is a little weird, so it took some time to adapt. In the morning, before 6 o'clock to five-star level. Breakfast should supply. Otherwise not a great hotel.

A very good selection of wine and beers. The bar snacks were very tasty and also good portions.

I'm a London cab driver had a customer pre book me to take them to airport, arrived early at hotel only to find door man would not let me in to talk to customer. Manage to get customer attention, to which the doorman was told to load their cases into my taxi as he was doing this he gave me an envelope containing £60 saying the taxi is paid by hotel. Customer then gets in taxi very frustrated telling me hotel tried charging £150. The fare came to £78 almost half what this hotel tried charging. Wish I had filmed this so I could arrest hotel/doorman for extortion. Please be careful when needing a taxi from this hotel as they will overcharge you and try putting you into a private hire vehicle that will rip you off. There is a taxi rank just outside to the right.

Over the past six years, each time staying this hotel. This hotel location very good, around the corner is Liverpool Station. Looks and isn't a fantasy of luxury, but let people feel particularly comfortable. Hotel renovation and the services and other hotel completely different. Came here for a business meeting and it was very swish. I totally recommend it for meetings.

Near public transit & the train station. Easy axces with car. Nice and clean rooms.

Simply the best place to stand in London : near the city and shoreditch, easy access to transports to Oxford street, beauriful architecrure, luxury environnement and very nice/service!

Spent a work related evening here. The room was good, the dinner was very nice and the staff were great.

The hotel was beyond our expectations. The hotel was in perfect order and the staff is probably the most professional and polite team I have ever experienced in all our travels. It is our honeymoon and they made it one of our best stops. Thanks again to sonja and staff.

Very disappointed with the service experience here. Having made a mistake on the booking form management made no effort to assist in re-booking, showing no interest unless I repaid again in full, despite the hotel having plenty of availability on the night I mistakenly booked for. Having stayed at other Andaz (WeHo), I was very surprised by this short term stance by management.

Andaz Liverpool Street — part of the prestigious Hyatt hotel is located in the City, not far from the Cathedral of St. Paul and the Tower of London. Housed in a historic building, where guests are, however, fully modern rooms with perfect equipment. There are four restaurants and not less number of bars — all with the offer and service at a high level. The hotel has a well-equipped fitness club all day. Hotel valued for its elegance, good location and modern comfortable rooms.

Very disappointing. I made a booking through the website, during which the page refreshed to a wrong date, and the hotel flatly refused to make a refund, even though I wanted to add more booking dates, and the fault was partially caused by the website. Very strange. Being a regular stayer at Andaz hotels seemed to make no difference, and I wouldn't stay at a hotel chain that would prioritise one nights revenue over losing a long standing customer who uses their hotels worldwide.

It was recommended by Am Ex Platinum and I couldn't have been happier! The service and amenities are top-notch. The rooms are a little small, but that is typical for London, however I was given an upgrade which was perfect. There is something that feels very personal about a well-run boutique hotel and the Andaz made the cut! It is my first choice in London hotels! Highly recommended!

If you like indian food please Try The Taj Restaurant in 10 Carlton Parade Orpington Kent BR6 0JB open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday 5.30pm to 11.30pm and Sunday 5.30pm to 11.00pm.

Neat, comfortable rooms and facilities, great breakfast — 1901, good Wi-Fi, catered to every need — including request for late check out for an hour, loved the check in formalities (very relaxed). Location great too — bang next to Liverpool station and next to my scheduled meetings, shopping options with TESCO market. Best hotel if working around EC3. Will certainly be back. Only point would the 75 quid per day holding charge — for 4 nights that would be pretty penny for some. 75 quid for the entire stay would be acceptable.

The absolute best hotel in London. If you are reading this review while still deciding whether to stay here, then please do choose to book. The staff are wonderful, the rooms are lovely, the entire place is immaculately clean without feeling cold in any way, the location is perfect, and the facilities are very good too.

Quite simply a superb hotel in every aspect. The setting and location is unbeatable, spectacular. The staff are top notch, the rooms excellent, the decor very good throughout. Try this hotel for a night, any time of year, you will go back I'm sure. We have 3 times.

Perfect hotel if a bit pricy at times. Rooms are large and comfortable, with nice amenities like snacks and some drinks in the fridge. Heated towel rack. Staff is very very nice and accommodating. Room service food is quite good too.
