Fantastic staff! Employees are wonderful!

We stayed for a week … absolutely lovely room with an English breakfast in the morning. The gentleman there is most knowledgeable about the London and transportation system. Staff is very gracious and most accommodating.

Love this small simple independent hotel — have been staying with them on London visits for over 20 years! lovely staff, clean rooms, walking distance to multiple tube stops/lines, walking distance to Oxford St, buses at the door from St Pancras/Eurostar.

Hotel clean and tidy with friendly staff but we had a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the busy road. Even though windows were double glazed the road noise was continuous all night and made sleeping difficult. Would recommend asking for a room at the rear of the hotel overlooking the garden. Otherwise hotel good value with breakfast included.

Friendly staff! Very clean rooms! But old and worn place. Boring breakfast. Got a room in the basement, but no good second escape route in case of fire. Big window and door leading out to a pit outside, but not possible to get up from there. The bath was renovated 6 month ago, but the style looks like it was grandma decided the design… I guess typical British…

Would have left 4 star but there were a few issues. Firstly, the staff and owners are incredibly friendly. Can sort any issues you have, and know all the best routes to get anywhere, whether it's cost or sightseeing you're worried about, they will have you covered. Sadly, there was construction work outside the building when we stayed, which started around 8:30am and continued onwards past 01:00pm. There was no kettle in the room, or shampoo, but we asked and they provided, which was great. Very close to an underground station, bus station and Euston train station.

The staff was very friendly and sweet and the rooms were clean. The lobby had a nice tea/coffee dispenser (for free) and a vending machine (not for free). Thanks to the public computers, I managed to get some work done despite breaking my laptop (oops). English breakfast was GREAT. All the staff in the kitchen were incredibly nice, friendly, and accommodating. I enjoyed every meal. The rooms were very small, oddly shaped, the walls were thin, and the room I had did not have a bath or toilet en suite. The public spaces were clean, but very very small. You get what you pay for. I wasn't expecting more.

Great hotel within walking distance of the theatre (we saw harry potter). Staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Although small rooms it's a really nice place to stay. The food is amazing and a good selection of drinks as well.

This bed&breakfast was a lovely surprise. The accomodation was better than we were expecting and the staff is 5 stars, really helpfull, always telling us the best way to get wherever we wished to go. We traveled with 3 small children, so we where a bit worried, but this was the best choice ever. There's a bus stop right outside that can take you everywhere. Bonus: we found lovely portuguese ladies among the staff.

I was surprised at first by the room and bed set up, but considering the fact we were out all day and evening, sleeping and breakfast (set us up for the day) was absolutely fine, no problem, lots of hot water for bath or shower, TV and Wi-Fi perfect in my opinion. I will defiantly be returning and will happily recommend…

Small rooms. Convenient location for many tourist attractions.

This is a hidden London gem. It is a family owned business for a couple of generations! The hotel rooms are basic but the owners and staff are wonderful. As tourists you are out and about all day, so you are really only there for sleeping. There is a lounge to use with free tea and coffee. The breakfast is great, with table service by lovely staff. At breakfast the owners are there to help you and they even ask you if you need help with getting anywhere. It is really close to the airport train line, theatres, buses out the front. We will stay there again.

All in all positive review. Fair prices for London, clean and comfortable hotel, location not very convenient for Metro but still good, friendly staff, very nice neighborhood both day and night.

Basic hotel but the location and staff are great. Just upgrade your Wi-Fi because it really sucks. You can barely browse pages.

Extremely basic but perfectly fine, clean, and usually at an amazing price. Especially for this part of London. Free hot breakfast is a bonus and the staff are all super friendly.

Great location to get to anywhere you need. Very friendly staff. It's an old building did lols a bit dated. Can be slightly noisy with other guests but I would use this place again.

Staff were lovely, welcoming, prompt to provide breakfast in the morning. Clean rooms and bathroom; easy-to-use shower. Within walking distance of Kings Cross and close to British Museum as well. Excellent location at a very reasonable price! Would definitely like to stay again.

Good enough for an overnight stay. Fairly basic but more or less clean, small room. No frills at all. Simple breakfast. Not anything to write home about. The staff, however, are extremely nice and helpful. Very pleasant stay overall.

This place is a gem close to London University, three tube stations, bus lines on the street and life in Fitzrovia. Location is close to some fine restaurants. The cost was reasonable. Food was great, although the dining room was loud because there were so many people eating at the same time (this is a hotel, not a traditional, small B&B). We found the owners very helpful and friendly. Our particular room was small, but quite pleasant. Furnishings are simple and plain so nothing fancy. We would stay there again.

I was there in September, staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are tiny and dated by North American standards but typical for the UK. Hotel and rooms are clean, safe, quiet and have everything you could need. There is excellent Wi-Fi throughout the property and there are 2 computers for guest use in the lounge. There is also free tea and coffee and soda machines ($), and a small library. The morning breakfast was a typical English breakfast that is a good start to your day. The property is located close to 2 tube stations and plenty of shopping and places to eat. Overall this is an excellent property for the price. One note: this is a 5 story property with a lot of stairs so there may be an problem for people with mobility issues — there are a few rooms on the lower level so you may want to request those rooms if needed.
