A proper London pub straight out of the movies. Higgledy piggledy and very interesting. A very warm welcome and a good selection of beers.

This bar is confused with two other pubs with similar names and a search on the others brings up reviews for here. Probably tourist confusion. The ownership here is for this and a similar concern in Shirley, a rural area of Outer London. This bar would look right at home in such a locale. The staff are English which makes going there feel like an episode of Dr. Who. Ian, the temporary manager, who will no doubt grow and take root has a knowlegable staff eager to help and guide around the three floors that should be full every day of the week. Guides London over are asked for places like this and there should be an impetus to bring bar and curious together. London visitors being served by London people now happens only in fiction.
