Lovely cozy place. Friendly staff, quiet ambience.

Really liked starters (grilled goat chess with vegetables, avocado and prawns cocktail) and oranges in caramel.

Very nice little place in Harrow on the hill great service and an excellent breakfast with a huge selection my only grumble is that the heating came on and turned the room into a sauna. Otherwise an excellent place to stay.

Menu and atmosphere are good — but then things go downhill. Was offered half a slice of ready sliced bread, the food arrives direct from the late 80s — slabs of meat awash with sauce and boiled veg separately — ooh. Dessert trolley equally dated and was given a plate of profiteroles I saw had been left out for some time — finally the bill arrives and you find out you’ve been charged for the crappy bread plus they chuck a big service charge on everything. Not terrible but wouldn’t recommend.

Have eaten at the restaurant on many occasions and it is always first class, the service is fantastic and all if the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend 100 %.

A family place with happy people. Good restaurent and very easy public transportation.

We had an impromptu dinner. We did not stay the night. Food was excellent and the service was very good. The choice of wine was good and we had a lovely Bordeaux with our meal. The fish options we had was delicious.

The best restaurant in the area. It had amazing wine selection and very affordable yet luxurious set dinner menu.

Cosy little place with a nice restaurant and close to a tube station. Rooms are way too small and almost everything feels dated.

Old fashioned restaurant. The decor and the menu look like they haven't changed since the 80s. Food was okay. Lovely outdoor terrace and friendly staff.

We needed a place to stay overnight as we were going to to the world athletic championships in London. My husband had stayed there the previous year and enjoyed his stay, however he was surprised to see that the "double, " room was the same size as his single the year before. (definitely nothing like the ones advertised on website! ) The room was a little tired looking and the window wouldn't open as the sash was broken. The shower was in the corner of the room was a bit small made worse by the fold in the door pointed inwards and wouldn't stay flat meaning the shower curtain kept getting in the way. The toilet & sink in a tiny room in other corner was ok but light over sink didn't work and you had to be careful not to bang head on sink while using toilet! The place looked closed when we arrived and ended up going to the Italian restaurant next door, who very kindly checked a us in and showed us to our room, even though it wasn't his business, the owners eventually showed up but left it to the guy from the Italian to sort us out! Parking was also a problem as the 3 spaces mentioned were merely on the roadside so we had to park on the road behind. Breakfast was plentiful, cold buffet selection with lots of choice such as cold meats, cereals, fruit and breads.

Great food, lovely family run restaurant and fantastic views.

This was 3rd visit to Old Etonian (restaurant) and did not disappoint. Was surprisingly sparse numbers for Sunday lunch but with the bonus of a peaceful mealtime… No noisy neighbour sharing all their details whether or not you want to hear them! The fare is value for the location.

Good enough little French place — food just seemed a bit dated.

Very convenient for Harrow on the Hill. Comfortable bed, room too warm decor rather shabby. Reception poor… unfriendly. Plenty of breakfast if you like carbs. Evening food good. Would stay again because convenient for family nearby but place could do with refurb. But not bad for price and location.

Together with a friend of mine we stayed one night at the Old Etonian Hotel. It took us a while to find the entrance, since you checkin in at the restaurant nearby. The staff was beeing helpful and friendly. The breakfast, which was included in our booking, was pretty good, even though nothing special. The room itself was anything but cozy — while it was clean, it was quite small and the duvet covers displayed a wild mixture of kitschy flower patterns. Instead of a normal window, we had a huge wall of solid glass blocks. They provided daylight, but you couldn't see through them and so the atmosphere was comparable to a windowless room. Unfortunately, the air exhauster didn't work in our windowless bathroom, so after two showers, the climate in both the bathroom and the connecting main room was too moist and hot. The problem didn't seem to be new, since there were some spots of mold on the wallpaper. Parking is possible on the street infront of the hotel at nighttime — during daytime there seems to be no nearby parking possibility.

Got really sick about 2 hours after leaving here for dinner.

Food was average, staff were polite. Was very annoyed when I got my bill which was not clear at all, when me and my girlfriend questioned things on the bill I did not realize the bread they offer u when u sit down u have to pay for and also the tablecloths u eat off! Absolutely crazy. Oh and also they add there tip on to the bill without asking. Will never go back again.

Great food. Parking difficult. Quaint surroundings.
