Lovely little gem in London. Was extremely comfortable here… I'd recommended it highly!

Excellent wedding reception experience… would be 5* but bar staff overloaded… that apart, it was perfect. P. S. Sorry to add it is closing in autumn.

Hotel looks quite grand and there are some very nice details in the rooms. It feels old, in a good way. The rooms could have been cleaned and dusted better. The bar was not stocked particularly well. However, for the price I'd say it was overall positive and I would stay here again.

The hotel infrastructure is very tired and there is no dining available after 2000. Also, the hotel does not have a gym, which is disappointing. Staff on reception on arrival were less than attentive, but the staff at breakfast, which was a good spread, were very attentive.

What a surprising jewel of a place, tucked away in leafy Hendon. Beautiful architecture, well appointed grounds, with a stunning grand facade, and first class impeccable service.

We have stayed several times before and just love the hotel, the staff are so lovely always helpful and friendly so we were very sad to learn it is closing in October. We did feel the wonderful breakfasts have already gone and were just average which was a disappointment. But understandable as is closing. Barry a new member of staff was just so kind and helpful I have to mention him as he couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Also the lady in the dinning room whose been there for thirteen years, difficult name! She was very welcoming and we were sad to say goodbye to her.

Nice clean enough sin does not work well the Wi-Fi.

I booked Afternoon Tea for a Mother’s Day treat. When I spoke to the receptionist, she had informed me that we will receive lovely vegetarian options for sandwiches and I wanted a meat options as well. I paid £80 and I was not happy with the service at all, when we got there, the waiter came to ask if we wanted vegetarian or meat, I told him we would like 2 vegetarian sandwich platters and 2 meat sandwich platters, he said to me that I hadn’t given them advance notice, when I told them a week before we visited. This was so embarrassing as I had taken out my grandparents and mum for a lovely afternoon and they told us we will have to wait, so we did. When the sandwiches came they were bland and the vegetarian was cheese & tomato, cucumber & mint and that was it! I was very disappointed with this as I had told them in advance and we had to wait, when it should have been organised. Then we said could they give us the sweet dishes in a few minutes, they bought it straight away and it was all sweet as we had the savoury beforehand, when we should have been able to mix and match, as it all became very sweet. We decided to take majority of sweet cakes home, they packed it for us in foil and it all became squashed by the time we got home, I have photos to prove it. The scones were dry and very hard.

Great hotel in a convenient location for the rugby. Rooms comfortable and spacey. Staff always helpful and nice food. Lovely breakfast.

Curiously old fashioned. Enjoyed a superior roon. Room service breakfast was lovely. Cereal, juice, tea, fruit, yogurt, egg royal, scrambled egg, toast, jams and spreads. Restaurant for evening meal not so good — I'd avoid.

Junior Suite. Great bath. Big room. Friendly check in. Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Would revisit.

Service has been outstanding. Both from the front desk and other staff. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Old fashioned furnishings in keeping with "Manor house" look of the buildings.

Food was terrible, check in took 20 min because there were no staff. Evening meal took over an hour to arrive and was cold. Coffe was cold. Very poor service and tired decorating. It's in dire need of a facelift and looks tired and shabby. The reception staff didn't give any info on anything at all — we discovered a 'free Taxi service' to the station by accident. It wasn't advertised anywhere at all. It wasn't worth the bother as it turned out — we ordered a taxi and it was 25 min late!

I can't speak highly enough of the staff who were all very welcoming and utterly professional (We had a brief courtesy call 2 mins after checking in to. Our room to ensure we were happy with it — that's what I call customer service) The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the breakfast used good quality produce and was very tasty. Excellent transport links — bus right outside the hotel for Hendon/Holders Green Tube station and less than 1 mile off the M1 made all journeys into the City and into London very straightforward. Will definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A fabulous hotel! Great location that is easy to find and with good transport links if you wish to go exploring. Superb facilities and the room was absolutely first rate — clean, spacious, well equipped and with a huge comfy bed! The staff were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel, the bar could do with a better beer selection but that is a minor gripe. The food we eat their was beautifully prepared and the staff friendly and attentive. It's hard to believe this place is tucked away in Hendon!

Came following my mother's funeral. Few options so thought would retry it. Room OK. Food OK. Price for something much better. Had booked a room for 100 people for a large celebration 5years ago. Again very overpriced and pretty awful. Service poor. Not enough food etc. Made a miserable experience for something that should have been lovely and memorable. For that I would have given 1star. Learned my lesson. Will go elsewhere in the future.

Beautiful building both inside and out with the added benefit of some interesting history. Clean rooms and a comfy bed. Staff were really nice too. I would happily stay there again.

Beautiful classic surroundings alrhough a little dated and in need of some TLC! The staff are hilarious here. They all mean well but its a bit like Faulty Towers! The Kitchen have created a new food menu which was desperately needed.

A lovely building and helpful staff. We had afternoon tea which consisted of bland sandwiches, good scones and pleasant cakes. The sandwiches were a disappointment so a bit more imagination needs to go int this part of the menu.

The service was amazing. The food was amazing. Loved this place.

Dated exterior. Went for an evening event and the function rooms were fine. The staff were the highlight, very personable and professional.

Pre-booked lunch for a family party of 14 some time ahead. Private dining room booking that was only confirmed the day before seemed to have gone astray but our party was accommodated in the main restaurant. No other diners in the restaurant so resolved this situation. Food was good and presented creatively. Service was somewhat slower than expected throughout our visit but we still enjoyed our visit as we were able to catch up and chat with family members. Large helpings of Eton Mess without any obvious meringue was very heavy on the cream. This was brought to staff's attention and they did not charge for this which was appreciated. Overall I think the Hotel looks great with smart decor inside and a lovely garden in which you can sit outside with lots of tables and chairs. Free parking available. I think a little staff training on service standards and how to deal confidently and positively with customers (particularly problem-solving) who might have any issues would help. Just a bit too much hesitancy and vagueness when issues raised. Not sure they got it.

Very nice hotel, traditional with a good car park and nice gardens — not a concrete tower block. Excellent value.

I had went to this hotel in Hendon for my school prom because we had said our final goodbyes to this final year in school. The reception was amazing, we had fun together with my former school mates as we remember our secondary school years for almost 5 years! Finally in the hotel, the staff, the hall and the food was very nice!

Hendon Hall Hotel is a very nice and warm place in my opinion and the staff is always helpful. We have to accommodate our friend at this hotel and I hope she had a great experience and enjoyed her stay here. The hotel also benefits from a large enough car park and the surrounding area is very nice and quiet.

Hotel located in a strategic location to get to central London easily. Structure of 1700 but very comfortable and definitely immersed in a glimpse of nature really exciting. The rooms are clean and the breakfast plentiful. I highly recommend.

We had some family members booked here and after their flight was delayed I had to get in touch to rearrange things. So thankful and grateful for kind staff! Our relatives didn't arrive until 3am. Very courteous and helpful and they enjoyed their stay.

Lovely place. Went to a wedding reception there. Good room, awesome building. Bar is mega expensive.

The hotel is absolutely clean and the staffs are really friendly. It's on a busy high road however the view while you're out in the backyard is amazing. Looks a bit countryside apart from big ree double decker buses and cars passing by.

My parents stayed at the hotel. They said it was comfortable, if slightly dated. Reservations seemed a little disorganised, offering different rooms to my mother and father.

Dropped someone off to meet guests. Well looked after for the time was there.

I stayed for five nights and had a lovely time. Fantastic room, attentive staff :) great breakfasts, pretty good dinners.

Had tea. Food good. Service good. Ambience poor as no one else was there.

We had a Christmas party here and while the staff were friendly they were inexperienced and while the facilities were adequate the whole building was neglected and in need of ronnovation. Overall a nice experience but that was down to the people at the party!

The hotel has been very good and have treated me and my partner very well as we were new comers and even helped cair for my partner when she wasn't feeling %100. I give it 4 out of 5 stars due to its evening meal being its short fall as they were a little pushy with bread and the wine every 5 minutes being asked if you wand some bread. Though all in all if passing through I would go again.

Lovely hotel in a lovely area, surrounded by large, picturesque houses you probably can't afford. The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing both inside and out. The room I stayed in was lovely. The bed was large and comfortable, television was standard for the UK and Wi-Fi free of charge. The bathroom had a shower over bath and was restocked daily. The cleaning staff seemed to gather your habits; if you had a glass of water by your bed, they would provide fresh bottled water and a glass on your bedside cabinet; pretty friendly. The fridge, however, was pretty small. Tea and coffee making facilities were easy to use and was refilled daily. I had breakfast as a part of my package; a nice selected of fresh juices and a continental spread in the middle of a function room. Breakfast and hot drinks orders were taken by a waiter or waitress and was made fresh, tailored for you. It was very tasty, however I was often hungover and didn't always finish. Being a working-class university student, I felt a little out of place at the hotel, however the staff didn't seem to judge and were always friendly. The hotel offered a free shuttle bus to and from Hendon Hall and local sights, including Wembley Stadium, which was nice. If public transport was to be used to get to Wembley, a trip into and back out of the centre of London would be required. 10/10 would recommend the hotel, 11/10 with rice.

A beautiful country house hotel, with individual rooms. Old fashioned high quality service, with excellent food. Particularly enjoyed the smoked haddock at breakfast.

A pleasant hotel, really surprised at the service and food at a wedding I was at here. Deserves a higher rating.

Had afternoon tea here, cost of £17.50. The food was decent, sandwiches being the tastiest but the cakes were cry and too crumbly. The waitress was also a bit rude, tutting at us one time which wasn't polite at all. Nevertheless it was a nice atmosphere, but for the price I would expect better food.

Friendly, courteous and efficient staff. Pleasant room. Nicely furnished and very clean. We were fortunate to have a room with working air conditioning. In the current heat wave it's essential so check before booking as it seems system is being upgraded.

Air conditioning does not work in my room, as well as in many other rooms. It is terribly hot inside. My room has a romantic view on back yard with trash bins and corresponding smell. Hotel staff does not do anything to help customers saying that they are fully booked. This is a terrible experience, absolutely not acceptable. p. S. After complaining next day to hotel administration via email, the room was replaced by a much better one.

In hot July it is unfortunate to have no working air conditioning in two-thirds of rooms. That is the only bad thing I can say. The staff are exceptionally professional and are the best. Luxury in an old country manor house. Garden is restful and beautiful.
