Could not recommend this pub highly enough. On very short notice the management and staff put together an amazing wedding party for us. Room was beautiful, food was exceptional and service was flawless. Felt very safe during covid times and still had the perfect wedding! Thank you Katie, Clodagh and all the staff!

Managed to finally get a couple of days away from the madness of the last 6 months and what a lovely hotel to choose. Friendly and helpful staff, great rooms and great food. Fantastic location for visiting Hampton Court. We had a lovely stay. Loved the room and breakfast plus the complimentary tickets to Hampton Court Palace… I have and will recommend to family and friends and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Undo the damage done to a 200 year old building by their decor that makes it look like a dentists waiting room. Also, £6.50 for a pint of beer is excessive, even during the dreaded lurghy Of their 4 nearest neighbours, 3 were shut and 1 was full — yet The King's Arms was still empty.

This is close to my friends home, I eaten here twice and both meals were very tasty and good value. The staff are all friendly plus great service.

Always a great atmosphere and friendly welcome. And you’ll never leave hungry, great menu too. COVID protocols are in place and easy to follow.

Welcoming, helpful staff. This is a charming pub with a Thai chef. Dinner was wonderful. My room was charming; I slept like a "baby". The tube is less than 5 mins. Away so travel to the sites is a breeze. I plan a return trip.

Tbh, a fairly standard neighbourhood pub, but with a surprising Thai menu. You won't find any surprises as far as beer on tap or other bevvy. That said, you also won't necessarily be disappointed. The King's Arms is the definition of a residential pub. It's clean and open, with a comfortable seating area outside, on a quiet residential street. Sometimes, this is exactly what you need: a no-fuss London pub. However, one of the things I've come to value is coziness. The pub does come close on this front, but falls slightly short. Unfortunately, the general lighting (a little too bright, accented by lights from a bank of gambling machines) and atmosphere are a little more drinking-hall-themed than I prefer. It's the sort of place I would pop in to once-in-a-while for a pint of ale, perhaps a bit of sport, but likely wouldn't add to my regular local list. This is entirely down to personal preference, mind. You may read the above and say, "boy, this sounds like the place for me! " If that sounds like you, well, friend, come on down to The King's Arms! That all said, the Thai menu is excellent! Even if, like me, the pub isn't going to make your regular list, you owe it to yourself to pop in to try out their Thai offerings. The chef is en pointe and you're unlikely to be disappointed.

Love this place. Stayed for a couple of nights as we were down to see Eric Clapton and friends at BST Hyde Park on Sunday. Despite living in London for quite a few years, on and off, I’d never been to Ealing! This has got to be the friendliest pubs I’ve been in for a long time (and I am a Northerner and live up North). Great staff, great clientele and great location. We’ll be back next time we’re down in London.

Nice pub with a friendly vibe. The food is top notch and the room I stayed in was very nice. 4 out of 5 as you will need earplugs if on business and need to sleep prior to the establishment closing. The bass from the music makes its way up into the residential area and the kitchen staff use the hallway outside the door. They cannot be expected to be any quieter and I have no complaints.

Really friendly welcoming pub. A proper Victorian building, fantastic fire places. Lovely quiet street, great outdoor seating. Stayed only one night as they were fully booked. Clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Fantastic hot shower. Will definately return.

Very easy going, warm and welcoming place to stay in Ealing, about 40 minutes with center line to Bank/St Paul and about there. Ealing itself is a pretty little corner of London. The accomodation is like staying at someones home. Maybe a bit small rooms and not the tidiest, but we didnt mind. I recommend.

Great spot to watch the footy (BT and Sky), but drinks are expensive. They have some good craft beers in cans, but £5.25 for 330ml is steep. A large Diet Coke is £3.60! Food is good. Staff are good.

The room for three persons looked good and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was quite comfortable as well. Most of the personnel was really friendly and helpful, and the pub was atmospheric with a nice selection of beers. The food was fairly good. On the downside: the toilet didn't look entirely clean and it wasn't flushing properly. Also, a few employees were a bit grumpy. All in all, our time here was satisfying. With a few improvements, this would be an excellent place to stay for a few nights.

My daughter passed away 1st Dec 2015 and I booked the pub for her brothers n family n close friends Sat 2nd Dec to come and have a Thai lunch in memory of her. Impressed by the service. The food was excellent n staff very attentive. I have a Sunday roast there and thats fantastic as well. Highly recommend this pub for English and Thai food.

A nice place but dogs allowed in. When I was there, there was a lot of Barking going on. Good food though and garden area.

Good local pub with outside seating which cathces the sun in the day. Good traditional roast dinner on Sundays and also one of the few pubs in the area to show football/rugby on a big screen.

We stayed here in 2012 for one night and I must admit that it was a great location but we are from the usa in los angeles and would have had expected much more ameneties since we stay in resorts in Hawaii we were shocked with the size of the rooms and would have expected more like an indoor basement pool fitness center and coffee maker in the room. We object and hate instant coffee and this is 2017 why cant hotels offer filter coffee these days. We wont be staying here again the food was terrible and we would have expected a breakfast buffet.

Went there for lunch. Food and service were both great.

After last night's experience I cannot recommend the food. This pub is usually busy at the weekends but it was nearly empty last night, unusual before a Hampton Court concert. The "sourdough croutons" were supplemented by supermarket sliced brown toasted bread (served without explanation or apology) and the pate was obviously low quality supermarket too. The garlic mushrooms were covered in a gloopy sauce and were barely edible. The bar staff appeared to be bored and fed up. We were told it was the usual chef who was on duty — so he/she needs to up their game as this was not an experience we intend to repeat.

A nice hotel well positioned staff very helpful and friendly food and drinks excellent, my wife and I stayed in room 11 or Mary the First the bed was very comfortable we did not want to get up lol the room needs some up grading otherwise I would have given a 5 star rating.

We recently stayed the night here and it was great. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff who made us feel right at home. We ate in the bar in the evening with our baby and we were very comfortable. The food was lovely and the beer was perfect. Our room was full of character. It had a few cracks and signs of age, but we hate boring (chain) hotels. The mattress on our bed was possibly the most comfortable one I've slept on for years. The hotels location was perfect for Hampton Court and after we had our lovely breakfast we headed out for a fun day.

Had a one night stay with my daughter excellent food staff very helpful and friendly and the History and unspoiled decor made my Tudor obsessed daughters trip. Will be back highly recommended.

Very well kept Guinness, friendly staff and a very tasty chicken and ham hock pie and mash for lunch. Great looking bar and totally unspoilt. What more can I say, except " I shall return".

Great location for a B&B, a very short walk to the station and almost backs onto the shopping centre. The room was clean and a great temperature, the shower was also good quality. The breakfast was OK, although the full English seemed a little cold on Sunday morning and the continental didn't have a huge variety to choose from. Bed was comfortable and slept fine during our stay. It was a little noisy on Saturday nights at kick-out time, but it was expected. There was some noise from outside the room as people went to their own rooms, as well as a quite strong cigarette smell from under the door which kept me awake for a while, but the room itself didn't smell. Given the price and location, I can't really argue with the quality, but a few minor adjustments would make it 5*.

Staff friendly and helpful. The room was sufficient and clean. The bed was comfortable although if you are taller than 6ft, it will feel short. Fine for overnight, couple of days. Breakfast was tasty and served quickly. I didn't try the restaurant so can't comment.

The place is a hidden treasure, beautiful setting, the best location, and the food is really good pub food. Staff is fine, they do their job fast, but don't expect many smiles :) I would definitely come back for more of that great food. It would be great to feel welcome though, good food can be found in many places. Just saying :)

Thanks to Rob (manager) and Ian (chef) and all the team at The Kings Arms for a lovely lunch on Saturday, we were a large group who booked last minute, due to being let down by another local establishment. However the team were unfazed by our late booking and large number and they were really ready to receive us on Saturday afternoon. Table service was quick, friendly and accurate, with easy bills for each table. The food was excellent, catering for a large group isn't easy, particular compliments on the Steak and Ale pies. Lovely selection of drinks, Badger Ale was delicious. Thank you to all the team. Iain and members of Dundonald Church, Raynes Park.

I was there once in 2015 and I am looking forward to get there again. The food was delicious, I had the best green curry ever. I recommend it for the great food and a nice serving. Also they have a few types of lager beer and cider.

It is difficult to find fault with the Kings Arms! I have stayed there over the last year and just can't. The tastefully decorated and happily bright rooms help to kickstart the day and liven the spirit… not to mention the incredible array of fresh fruit for breakfast and full English at weekends. Return after a days toil to be welcomed by a friendly and atmospheric bar with smiling staff, ably marshalled by Anne (but still smiling! ). Fantastic food — including a spag vol which can't be matched by Ealing's Italian restaurants. Staying at the Kings Arms, or just visiting is a special experience and you will not be disappointed!

We never ate here, but the food does always look good. It's spacious and the service is great. We like to go there to watch football on their big TV.

Nice dog-friendly pub, with staff bringing our pup water without prompting. Decent pub grub at lunch, though menu a little confusing — seems they don't offer the full range at lunch anymore, just salads, burgers and sandwiches (though tasty and generously portioned). For those without dogs, there's a more modern dining area away from the main pub.

Fantastic place to stay if working in this area pleasant looking bar staff, nice rooms, good food only set back of a 3 night stay was the waiter on the last night served my soup and walked off leaving me without a spoon, having told me my main would arrive in minutes. All good but had to chase staff to obtain a spoon. Having waited ages my main was brought out obviously having been sat under a grill, gravy skinned over, and decorative vegetation all wilted sad end to a good place to stay staff need to buck up a bit.

Booked a room for 3 people. I was expecting 2 single beds plus a sofa bed but actually there were 3 single beds in the room which suited us ideally. In general, for what we paid, you could not ask for more. Clean, worm, quiet, close to the Ealing Broadway tube station. Also, we were very pleased with the breakfast, it covered all the bases. Pub itself seems to have a nice atmosphere, with helpful staff. The only thing is that our room was on the top floor, which is a long way up that staircase, especially if you had a few. I would definitely use this place again as it was very good value for money.

Chicken parma! Aussie beers and a good choice of other nations offerings. Friendly staff. Bands (bit annoying if you wanna chat but not too overpowering). Parma not available on Sunday but the steak was pretty good alternative. EDIT: No more parmas. Changed to Thai kitchen almost immediately after I wrote this. Boo!

This pub has a limited selection of beers and my partner and I waited over an hour for our Sunday lunch. Our food finally arrived after we chased the order. It was clear our order had been lost/forgotten. The food was okay. I doubt we'll return.

Tucked away off a side road this pub is certainly worth looking for! On a Sunday they have a carvery which always goes down well with the family. This pub also features a separate lounge area with pool table which can be hired by a group for an evening.

Me and a friend visited today following a 6 mile walk across Bushy Park for a well earned lunch and something to drink. I believe the restaurant has new management and I must say you can tell! The service we received was excellent. Our food was to a good standard and the staff were very helpful. The prices were reasonable especially for a tourist area which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend a visit here!

Without a doubt, this is the best Thai food that you can find in Ealing and dare I say it, in London? Having lived in Thailand for 10 years, I feel I am in a position to comment. The food is of an exceptionally high standard and is really authentic. Spicy means spicy! Regarding the rest of the pub and the food, again excellent. Great service & knowledgeable staff when you're faced with an array of 'unknown' ales. Go & enjoy!

Had steaks here which were really tasty and good value for money. The atmosphere is really cosy, set right beside the fabulous bushy park. A great place to relax and unwind.

Wonderful steaks! Very pleasant atmosphere and very good service. The steaks are no doubt worth the money as is the sunday lunch. Explore bushy park afterwards with the atmosphere of the deer and the sunset over the park a perfect end to a lovely evening (and a great chance to disgest! ).

Great food, as long as its not too busy, as service then can be a little slower. Car parking can be difficult, but parking during the day in Bushy Park is quite easy with a nice walk passing the deer wandering about.

Fishy fish, greasy and over battered. Pasta swimming. Chips were fine. Full of families with prams and dogs from Hampton Court. Avoid.

Verry tasty food, did not expect it to be that good. Enjoyed it. Would come again.
