The hotel Trevelyan is always a very very warm welcome to bikers from all over the world since its owners are bikers themselves which spans for generations! Absolute must-stay there!
The Trevelyan is a windy and old building with partially uneven floor but for the price it is actually a really pleasant place to stay. Rooms are smal but clean and very well eqiped. Bathroom was also clean and very nice (the pipes are realy loud tough, eg when someone next room showers or flushes you hear it really loud). Breakfast was nice and good, the staff is also very friendly and always willing to help. The hotel is ‚centrally‘ on the promenade but to the actual town centre it takes about a 15 minutes walk. Trevelyan is not the fanciest place but for the price paid it is absolutly great and I really recommend it to everyone with a smaler budged! I had a very pleasant stay.

Charged me considerable extra amount of money for swapping from a terrible basic room not fit for human habitation to a room with en-suite shower even though my initial booking was supposed to have been for a room with en-suite. Small rooms, no wardrobe, no air-conditioning, room got very hot. The only good things were breakfast and courteous staff.
