We are 4 girls from Liverpool and have come down to celebrate our friends 50th birthday. We are having the nicest stay and have to say how wonderful Zoe your member of staff has been. She has gone well above and beyond the call of duty. What a credit she is to you.

Restaurant staff absolutely clueless — Is good customer service not a thing anymore? Half empty dining room still waiting ages just be asked if you want a drink!?

Very clean, and comfortable. Very quiet in room considering roads, if window is kept closed. Air con, comfy beds, and great breakfast selection.

Rooms good as usual standard. Customer service appalling. Staff don't know how the meal deal works let alone standard menu. They can't even handle half of the restaurant full (why have a restaurant double the size you can handle? ) apparently the chef (sorry cook) was in charge of how many tables were allowed in at once rather than the manager… Never heard of that before. I went down just after 10pm for a beer thinking they would serve till 11and all the staff bar kitchen staff were in the staff room watching TV. They open for breakfast at half 6 so I can squeeze in 10 minutes to eat before I need to leave, occasionally the hot food is ready for opening time but only very occasionally. Maybe this is a hotel where they start trainees. I can't think of another reason service would be so bad.

Took was fine. Up to thier usual high standards. The only two minus points were service, particularly in the do called bar. And when we checked in, it felt like they were doing us a favour.

Clean rooms but no phones in rooms to speak to reception and no flexibility for late check outs. The access cards consistently stopped working which meant a trip down to the desk and a wait to get them activated. And this was while being kept far away from mobile phones. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner which ends promptly at 10pm. In between, drinks can be purchased when you are able to track down a member of staff. We had a night without hot water and another night without heating. Breakfast is mediocre as I was once served 3 raw eggs when requesting 2 poached ones. However, when it works the food selection is good. Staff can be very helpful but we stayed for 2 weeks and were told not to eat our lunch in the only seated area of the hotel one day. The rooms are not suitable for eating food in either if you're a family of two adults and young kids.

First and last time I will stay here. Very limited choice for dinner. No orange fruit juice. One morning no butter. Unable to cook poached eggs one morning. Kitchen staff not wearing hair nets. Cups where stained in restaurant and room. Waiter service extremely slow. Not allowed J2O fruit juice with meal deal. As I had already booked and paid for a week I had to put up with it. Not the standard I normally receive from Premiere Inn

Room was great, bed comfortable, food not good. We had continental breakfast and the crumpets were mouldy! They changed them, but it shouldn't have happened. We were told the manager had over ordered, so some food was out of date. I wouldn't eat there again. Also no proper bar there, when we returned to the hotel and asked for a drink, the staff informed us that they had just been robbed of some drinks by two men who ran off. I ordered 2 single gins, and 1 bottle of tonic water and was charged £10. 15! This is Eltham not the west end! Didn't buy anything else.

Premier inn always great in my experience. Good sound proof room and comfy bed, genuinely giving you a great nights sleep. Decent food in the restaurant. Only down point is the road leading to the hotel is a pain with traffic depending on which direction you're coming from. Car park has limited spaces, but I've yet to see it full.

I love Premier Inn and stay a lot, as normally great value, clean and comfortable. But not on my last visit. I arrived Monday evening 26th February for 2 nights stay. That evening I thought the room was a bit chilly, but adjusted the thermostat up. Went to bed and about 2 am woke up and was freezing. I went back to bed with a jumper and woollen hat on. In the morning the room was freezing cold and there was no hot water for a shower. Having a hospital appointment in London later in the day, this was a big problem. I was told at the reception that there was a call out for engineers, this was at 9am, clearly the heating had failed before 8 pm the previous night. I arrived back in my room about 7-30 pm to a freezing cold room and no hot water, still no shower. I wore my jumper and hat in bed again. Thankfully the heating must have come on in the night as it felt a bit warmer and managed a hot shower before heading off to Gatwick for a welcome flight home. Not a good experience on this occasion and very stressful, far from a restful stay and sleep. I would like to give Credit to Premier Inn customer services. It was not a good experience, but they have dealt with the complaint efficiently and refunded my 2 days stay within eight days.

Rooms OK. Breakfast had improved slightly on my second visit, but not great. I won't even consider eating an evening meal here again. It was dreadful. Really poor service and really really poor food. Took ages to arrive then frozen solid when it did. There was no steak for my mixed grill so they gave me an extra sausage to make up for it! It was all badly cooked and tasteless. Utter crap. Breakfast was freezing cold on two occasions. Bacon like cardboard. Staff hard to find. Not great really.

The room was fine, but we were charged £10 to park our car in the carpark. There were no obvious signs on entry, although when we left and were specifically looking for it, we noticed a bland A4 sheet of paper stuck to the ticket dispenser with selotape, below the car window line so you wouldn't see it as you were coming in unless you knew it was there and who'd suspect that you'd have to pay for parking as a resident? I only happened to notice another sheet up in the reception area by chance as it was partially hidden behind computers. We asked for the parking fee to be waived, since the information was less than prominent, but staff refused saying that it was clear enough and insisting it was on the website when we booked. If it was there, it certainly wasn't obvious. We both use computers and websites quite a lot and are quite good at spotting the small print, so if it is there, it must be tiny. The actual room itself was fine and staff in the evening were friendly, but will not be returning as we feel we were stolen from.

Absloute joke at this branch, possibly the worst birthday treat I've ever planned for my 5 year old daughter. Completely understaffed and tonight was no exception. Checked in Thursday afternoon with our children, after possibly the worst decision to eat in the restaurant, ended up with my partner waiting over an hour to be served his chicken filo pie still frozen. The guests staying in the room above us were like a herd of elephants and woke us nice and early, an accomplishment to wake us before the kids. We were offered the opportunity to move room, however with 2 small kids and the stuff they bring it's not a 5 min job packing up. Tonight however was possibly the worst night. Some drunken antisocial idiot clearly thought it would be fun to set the fire alarm off. I can firmly assure you they work well, unfortunately my sleeping kids were terrified when they woke from the noise. There are several single parents on our floor that were unable to leave their rooms without dragging the kids downstairs all with upset and now with wide awake kids. I have done nothing but complain about the poor level of service received.

Nice and clean room, unable to comment on anything as only used to sleep. Very comfortable. My only complaint is mainly a personal 1 as their duvets were way too thick and hot for me (missus loved it though). Value for money as we stayed 24th-27th Dec. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Hotel is quite new, very clean, staff are on the whole excellent which is saying something for a stay over Xmas. The only downside was being offered ice for my doombar. If I needed to stay in the area again I would definitely stay here again. Can't comment on the food, but menu looked good and again the restaurant was clean.

Rooms amazing. But food and service appalling. Restaurant was dead had to break up staff conversation to get a drink then waited for food while staff chatting and my plate sat under a heat lamp. Good job there was ketchup on the table as food was tasteless. Stay in premier inn all the time for work but this by far the worst food and service.

Stayed overnight having driven down from the Midlands. Secure overnight car parking and a very straightforward check-in. Bedroom excellent size and offered all facilities you may require. Bed very comfy. Hotel was very busy. May have been a wedding somewhere nearby. It resulted in the wedding party appearing to all turn at the same time for breakfast! Queueing for breakfast was not good but the staff worked their socks off trying to to keep delays to a minimum. Breakfast was really worth waiting for

Three nights here. Clean and comfortable. The hotel chain needs to employ some vegan/vegetarian cooks. Photos are all from the room's window. I wasn't able to stream video, but you have the option to pay £5 for a 24-hour fast internet. I did that 3 times. The youthful staff and housekeeping were great.

The accessible room is 5* the hotel staff are 5* food was great, pity the restaurant doesn't open at 5. Car park 3* not enough spaces and work vans parked in the disabled area we had to get a member of staff to hold a space for us after visiting the 02 arena. This hotel is around 30 mins from the arena so great position for concerts and central London shopping or attractions. Highly recommend the hotel for disabled guests just the car park isn't great. Can be difficult to get out of the hotel due to traffic. Sound proofing is amazing, we would definitely go back.

An excellent hotel with modern, clean facilities. Excellent staff and good food. Brilliantly quiet family rooms despite being right on a busy road junction. We have visited twice now and will come again. 50 minutes from the city but definitely worth it to get value versus quality.

The hotel rooms are like closed prison cells (no windows, the air con they have is completely ineffective in refreshing the room) and make you feel ill when you've stayed in the room for some time, like your breathing in germs from 5 guests before. And staff are slow and take time to process the simplest requests. Forget about prompt service. If you have time to waste explaining yourself to people dozen times then this is the place for you.
