This is what greets you when you arrive at the hotel. It has been there three days as I know of.

Hygiene was poor
dinning room dirty
breakfast was cold took and hour to arrive
positives were the staff were friendly.

It took 90 minutes to get a table for dinner even though loads of tables were free. One waitress charged for soda water (ridiculous! ) and one didn’t. Polite staff but pretty useless!

Helpful staff and great restaurant!

The room was cold and absolutely stunk of cigarettes. When I put the air conditioning on to try to warm the room the smell of cigarettes got stronger.
The food was unimpressive, I had bad reflux one evening.
You may say why did I eat there again, I was terrified to go out as it was so rough.
The bed was uncomfortable, so didn’t sleep much at all. So on my last overnight I got out of bed st 2 am and headed home.

Very lovely staff polite every time kitchen staff well never tasted as good food as these av delieved and very quick service.

Absolute terrible service worse premier inn stayed in over 20years, shocking, no good nights sleep, building site next door, staff not considerstion to move rooms, staff knocking on door even tho ticket said do not disturb, drunks walking up down corridoor, full of smackheads outside day and night, hell hole stay clear.

Pros: The staff are friendly and there's a good choice of items for breakfast including full English breakfast, continental breakfast, cereal and American pancakes. Hair dryer in room. About a 5 minute walk from a desert place. Cons: I couldn't sleep very well over the two night stay. The first night I was too warm and while the bed was really comfortable I spent the night trying to kick the covers off. The second night I discovered the room has Aircon, while it cooked the room down I still couldn't sleep, this time partly because of some enthusiastic guests in the room next door banging away (well at least they had a great stay :-D). There isn't parking on site but there's parking about 2 minutes walk away, but being London it's not cheap (£16 for 24 hours). There is a railway station round the corner though and good bus/tram links.

Great location though a few km to the south of london, specifically in croydon, but close to the railway station with the railway line london-brighton serviced with trains every 10 minutes with the terminus at victoria station in central London from which you can reach with a short walk to all the attractions of Westminster, big ben, trafalgar square, etc. Budget Hotel with clean bathrooms comfortable beds, breakfast and dinner, but you can also take advantage of the supermarket on the ground floor with reasonable prices, great for groups with limited budget.

Very friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and tidy. The room service is very attentive and not objectionable. The Breakfast is good and rich. The dinner of the card is ok. From the children's menu, several dishes are, unfortunately, not available for order. In spite of the demand for, and Please would not communicated to us that the simple, noodle dishes are not for the children available, as you would to pasta. Just don't be come close to tomatoes. (Strangely enough, it was for Breakfast always the tomatoes. ) After this the operation was cool to us. Unfortunately, the water for showers on two days in the morning and in the evening only lukewarm to cool. The air conditioning in the room works well, but not noiselessly. The double bed is good, the extra beds are felt almost harder than sleeping on the carpet floor. In each of the floors with the rooms only with the electronic access card. Unauthorized persons should not come into the hallways, which is to be welcomed.

Convenient location nr East Croydon rail or tram. Comfy beds, friendly staff and nice food. Co op below good for tourists to buy water sandwiches etc.

Hotel discreet, clean. The council for the location near the metro and because it is situated on a big supermarket where you spend very well. The only drawback of the structure are the windows closed tightly.

I love staying in Premier inn Croydon it is a home away from home it recharges my batteries it's clean cosy friendly safe all my needs are meet here when I go to Croydon I wouldn't stay any where else I can't wait to stay there again.

Nice rooms, good shower, good service, Reason why it gets only 3 is because we experienced trouble with our keycards two days in a row and couldn't get in… Also, the bathroom wall had a few stains, not that noticeable, but still. Would stay there again tho. Nice ppl. Decent place. Good location literally right next to the station without noise.

Well after spending one night at this hotel I have woken up in the morning with bed bug bites all over my back! Ive never had these types of bites before! This has been the worst experience of my life and I will never be visiting this primier in again because I have had the worst experience!

Very clean, very comfortable beds, attentive staff, train station just 300m that connects very well with central London! Our experience at this hotel has been very positive, there is nothing.

The hotel is located right next to the train station and an easy commute into central London. It's a relatively new hotel and therefore the rooms are immaculate. There is however construction next door currently which may be noisy in some rooms. But it's a great hotel for business guests and tourist guests alike.

Great staff good clean rooms. It is just around the corner from East Croydon station so great transport links to London and Sussex. It also has a very good restaurant.

Very beware hotel as accommodation for London travellers. Can be reached in Eastcroydon about 15 minutes from London and Gatwick AIRPORT. It is 2 minutes from the train. Awesome to be reached on foot. Clean, accommodating, friendly. Wi-Fi including For business Wi-Fi, £5 surcharge. Young children free of charge. Breakfast super large selection a go go. Quiet sleeping, beds very comfortable and good. Book directly through Premiere Inn app, most conveniently. I'm there every 3 months. Train to London runs every 5-10 minutes.

We've stayed at this Premier Inn a number of times without an issue, however this time we were left with a freezing cold room as the temperature couldn't be adjusted and all the staff did to fix it was restart it several times which didn't help at all. There's also construction work ongoing at this site and when we made the booking nothing was in the small print, nothing was mentioned anywhere on the site so when we were awoken at 7am we weren't pleased after only landing at Gatwick a few hours earlier. Manger apologized but said it was made clear on the site, which it wasn't. I was then told the "good night guarantee" isn't offered in the hotel anymore and to contact a number once I had finished my stay. What I wasn't told is that because I had accepted a free breakfast on one of the days that I wouldn't therefore be eligible for a refund. So a £8 breakfast somehow equals a £60 a night stay. Until the construction work ends, I won't be staying here again.

Great location Rooms and comfortable beds.

Very Close to the Croydon train station. Like all Premier Inn, breakfast plentiful and access to rooms and plans automated. Very competitive Prices.

Typical Premier Inn with comfortable beds and rooms. It's well placed to East Croydon station and only a few minutes walk into the town centre. Service was good albeit it was a quiet midweek stay when I visited. They have recently suffered a fire resulting in generator being placed outside the main entrance. Those hoping a last minute vacancy will be disappointed. I'm aware that some people have turned up only to find out that they no longer had their room. I was lucky enough not to be affected.

My family arrived to find the entrance obscured by electrical generators and the foyer blocked off with plastic barriers behind which was cabling running through the place and through the walls. On check in we were informed there had been a fire and now there was no restaurant for dinner or breakfast. Outside our room there was a door to another room that had been kicked in and was now left ajar with wood on the floor. Our room was cold though the heat was turned up after I demanded more heat from the front desk. We barely got any sleep because there was incessant drilling from premises directly below until nearly 2am. We found out on leaving that the room opposite had been ransacked by Homeless people and this left us uneasy about our security during our stay. On contacting Customer Support I had to wait nearly two weeks for a reply we were given a weak apology an a thank you for the feedback. They have not responded since to any of my correspondence. My advice to anyone is to wait until all renovations are complete and security in place and if issues arise, not to bother contacting customer support.

I wouldn’t usually bother reviewing a Premier Inn as each hotel in the chain is the same. It’s a budget hotel and the facilities are absolutely fine for what it is. Even the breakfast and dinner is nice. When you stay in a hotel, you expect the sheets to be clean, you expect the room to be tidied and you expect the bed to be comfortable — it’s what you’re paying for. I’m giving 4 stars purely because I had a begging note in my room, asking me to rate my stay 5 stars. It’s worrying when you have to be asked to rate somewhere highly by the people who work there. I was perfectly happy with my stay but this note reminded me of those left by “deaf” people at restaurants, instantly annoying me.

Every stay here is excellent! The welcoming staff, the clean rooms and the good food. I have yet to be anything less than satisfied. The car park (which is a very small walk from the hotel) is expensive, even with the discount, but it's well lit, and secure so I'd say it's worth it. All in all. This site has been a regular favourite of mine.

Excellent Staff Service. Room very clean and tidy. Excellent location around East Croydon. The hotel is conviently at the center of everything. Value for money.

Disappointing. Third night in. Today I had to have booked a table. Happily took my money. Now have to wait. Not for me. Especially after being stuck on a bus. All I wanted a quick meal before sleep. Disappointed is not strong enough. No replacement sachet of coffee so off to the shop. What a let down.

This is a crappy hotel. I had no hot air condition in my room. I was moved to three different rooms because they are poorly kept. The toilet seat had pee stains and water stains on it. The carpet had stains as well. The walls are scratched up in some of the rooms too. The people staying in this hotel seem to be teenagers and pot heads of some sort. Very interesting hotel to stay in if you want to stay in a crappy room. The Bixton Premier inn is very nice and very well kept. I recommend them to anyone. I will never stay here again. Very unhappy customer. You really do get what you pay for here. And it is not good.

Perfect location for a central London commute with the train station being next door, literally. Clean rooms and staff very friendly.

Location was good, parking nearby which was excellent although had to be paid for, and transport into London was convenient. Would visit Croydon again, and the hotel is perfect as a base.

The best nights sleep I've had in a long while! I absolutely loved my stay here. I walked in on the night I needed a bed, and within 5 minutes I had the key to my room and was upstairs. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always asked if I was alright when they saw me around, and were happy to handle any queries. Rooms were spacious yet cosy, the air con was a lovely addition to the room, the bed was so comfortable, and the layout was really nice. Breakfast in the morning was good, free Wi-Fi, and very clean rooms. I will definitely stay here again at some point, I look forward to my return.

Nice clean and comfortable. Parking is a problem, after all it is London! We managed to park in a street but it was late at night. I would go again but will plan about parkingbefore visiting.

Overall good but went down for breakfast at 9 and all the breakfast fruit was already gone, as my wife is both wheat and dairy intolerant all she could eat was a bowl of cornflakes with soy milk, I do resent paying £6.99 for that.

You know what you are getting with premier clean and tidy. Restaurant decent. Just be careful that you are not charged for breakfast when you have not had it!

I could not be more happy with my recent stay at Premier Inn London Croydon. I stayed 3 nights over a weekend. I booked this as a base for our trip to central London. This hotel is so easy to get to from central London and reachable within about 45 minutes (driving) and about 20 minutes by train (from East Croydon Train station which is quite literally across the road. Being disabled I could not have been luckier with parking, right outside the hotel and free of charge which is always a bonus especially in London. The hotel itself was spotless and the staff were very helpful and friendly! Our room was comfortable and after a long day walking around many tourist attractions in central London, the bed was delightful. I've never slept better! I'd love to get my hands on a premier inn mattress for my bed! It was very quiet and it's the first time time I've stayed in a hotel where the air conditioning actually worked! It felt much more like fresh air from an open window, rather than from an air conditioning unit! We didn't book breakfast when originally booking but decided on 2 of the mornings to get the unlimited breakfast. The restaurant was quiet and clean and we were seated straight away. The breakfast was delicious and for £8.99 you really can't go wrong, and it covered us and set us up for a long day. Thank you Premier Inn Croydon, we will most certainly be back, very soon!

We arrived in our favourite hotel chain in the UK in the morning of August 26, 2017 and were lucky enough to check in a triple room just made. From its location, room, food or service, you would get what you paid for. There are just two lifts in this hotel and they do not work in tandem with other facilities; and our waits were particularly long when one refused to work at all!

Was a bit concerned when I saw a couple of reviews but my own experience was good. It's very close to East Croydon Station and near the Boxpark. The young lay on check-in was superb, chirpy & very helpful & every member of staff I spoke to gave a hello & was helpful too.
The room was facing the renovationnext door but the noise was only between 9-6 not a problem. Room was clean and a typical Premier inn room in layout. Wifi free for average use but £5 for 24hr for the fast stuff you can stream stuff with, again seemed fair.
Breakfast was a buffet style, good selection and the environment was relaxing and sorting poached eggs wasn't an issue for them and again the staff were efficient and friendly. I don't know what people expect for £75 within a 20 min train journey into London but I was very satisfied & will stay there again. Only downsides was the smell of smoking at the entrance, it's a bit like the opening of stars in their eyes but once you get past that the hotel is absolutely fine.

We loved it here. Both myself and my husband are disabled and the staff couldn't do enough to help us with everything. Very friendly staff and a special thanks to Petr for the teddy bear he gave our Son. We will definitely be back again in the very near future. Alexander was also a wonderful addition to the team, I believe he was only there on work experience but he was so friendly and helpful. We had fresh towels every day and the beds we so comfortable and cosy that we didn't want to get up in the mornings thankfully breakfast ran until late so we could enjoy a good rest every morning. We cannot recommend The Premier Inn in Croydon highly enough.

Well communicated with the centre of London, taking the direct train in about 15 minutes. The rooms are clean, large enough, do not have closets but if a place with hangers to stop clothing. Good breakfast and dinner service. It is not nothing expensive. The staff pleasant and attentive.

Hotel is very well communicated with the centre of London, just 20' from the center. New Hotel, clean, large rooms wide with a bathroom very spacious, bed comfortable, a kit of tea in the room. Dining room breakfast/dinner, very well decorated, wide and well-distributed. Staff very nice and friendly. Relationship quality-price very good. All really cool.

Clean and very well located, 2 minutes ' walk from the train station that takes you both to downtown as to the airport in about 20 minutes. Treatment very nice. Rooms comfortable and clean. Highly recommended.

Rooms were spot on, free Wi-Fi wasn't good tho, was very slow and could hardly connect sometimes, and the restaraunt was a horrible experience, had to ask for menu's, this was at 8:45, we sat down at 8:20, then had to get up and ask for food again at 9:05 when the waiter was very ignorant, 9:45 our food arrived, after yet again getting up and asking how long food will be it coincidentally turned up seconds after, the food was nice tho but the waiter at the end just threw the bill on the table and walked away.

The hotel is a proper one. The rooms are nice and spacey, the beds are soft and well made every day and the breakfast is absolutely delicious.

As usual for a Premier Inn one gets a decent room, clean and comfortable for a night's sleep. I found the staff at this particular hotel to be particularly friendly and helpful which always makes a stay better.

A good premier Inn despite being very busy. Cant give five stars as the closest parking is that little bit too far and too awkward to get to and with two young children and luggage and a late arrival it spoilt things a bit. Good value breakfast.

No car park, park at Shopping centre, late at night had to go through a dodgy subway with kids and all our stuff. Felt very vulnerable. Hotel staff told me I would get it cheaper but when I went to pay the ncp staff said I had to go back to hotel for them to validate my ticket do had to pay full price. Rubbish night sleep, noisy and too hot.

The staff is really friendly, the food is great, the price is low. What else do you need?

Don't believe the lies about the 'parking opposite'. It's not opposite. It's not even close. In reality, it's an NCP that's a 5 minute drive away due to the poorly planned road infrastructure and one way systems, although only a 5 minute walk one you 'do' eventually get parked. Otherwise, nice hotel. Great room, comfy bed and nice breakfast — would recommend. Just a shame about the parking.

Cosy hotel. Comfortable but one dislike that house keeping came into my room twice before check out time. And it woke me up I was abit paranoid.

Called, told no rooms. Went online, booked straight away. Room freezing cold.

Disgusting service! I was bullied by the 'security' man and was threatened that I would end up on the streets for the night because my friend came to visit at 10pm. He told me (even though I was 200 miles away from home) that the hotel would have to kick me out and intimidated me in to providing him with my passport for no apparent reason? Alongside this, the 'manager' came and shouted at me for reasons which were not explained at the time. I have been to this hotel before this occasion and it was beautiful but this one time I was absolutely mortified with the service I received.

Professionalism and kindness! I have stayed there for 18 days and I can say it is a great hotel, I believe that the whole chain is so!

We were staying for the weekend to attend a family christening and we had a superb experience. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Very comfortable rooms and delicious food. The staff were all very friendly, efficient and pleasant. It was very conveniently located for travel. All in all — a winner. I would highly recommend it!
