A rather tired hotel in need of some serious sorting out. The room I had on Sunday night had air-conditioning that didn't work. They offered a fan or change of room. I accepted the fan which turned out to be large and very noisy so didn't sleep well. The wash basin drain needed clearing out too, very slow to empty. They moved me to a better room for Monday night but this had a broken power socket and the toilet seat hit the flush handle. Service in the breakfast room was a bit hit and miss, I asked for tea which didn't come until I asked again 10 minutes later. Same problem at dinner, ordered a beer but had to ask twice before it came. The ultimate problem was in our meeting room… A cockroach! Won't be going there again.

Although we didn't stay overnight we did have lunch in the restaurant and a drink in the bar. Food was delicious and there was plenty of choice with the buffet menu. The bar next to it was quite dark and a bit masculine. The decor was old style traditional pub.

Close to East Croydon Station with fast trains to London. Rooms and beds large and comfortable. Staff in Reception/bar/dining room/housekeeping welcoming, friendly and helpful 10 out of 10. Hotel in need of a total refurbishment, looking its age now. Chairs and carpets in Restaurant in need of cleaning/refurbishing/replacing. Shower cubicles in Leisure Centre need to be checked to ensure people are not leaving their rubbish in them (dirty nappies in plastic bags! ) on the one occasion I used the pool.

Great wellbeing centre with the Fab Elena encouraging looking after you. Great tips advice and excellent customer service. When you have had an extremely busy month relax with Elena and team.

This is a good meeting place in central Croydon if you want a quiet more intimate setting. Not a lot of people know that you don't have to be staying at hotel to use the bar area or hotel restaurant, that offers a fantastic buffet with hot and cold food all prepared and cooked to a high standard. Bar area can be a little noisy if a major sports game is showing but on the whole moderately quiet. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. One if the best hotels in Croydon.

The exterior and lobby look well kept and modern. The pub is a nice place to relax and enjoy a beer. Things change as you exit the lift to your room. Dated, worn, and a bit drab. The room was clean but the bathroom needs some serious maintenance and updating. I was suppose to get a 10% discount by being a Crystal Palace member but I was told they do not do offer discounts. If I find myself in this part of London again, I would probably stay someplace more convenient to Old Town part of Croydon.

Go for gym and swimming. Location is the best bit right on the way to from office within a couple of minutes walk from East Croydon station. Facilities reasonable. Happy.

The hotel itself is not necessarily modern but clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and are cleaned and refreshed daily. The breakfast is very good and extensive, something for every taste. The connection to London is good, the East Croydon train station is within 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Directly at the station is the "box Park", where you can eat well and cheaply, and parallel live different sports events on big screen together with many others. The connection to Stansted Airport is awkward from Croydon and not necessarily cheap. If you want to go to the hotel, it might be wise to choose an airport that is closer.

Went for a massage. Staff appeared weary, passively aggressive and surley in their manner. I felt uncomfortable and wanted to do a u-turn. Massage was not too bad. Overall a very bland and unfriendly atmosphere. They were not verbally clear of massages on offer. When I asked about a Swedish massage I received a very blunt response of "Swedish is generic", full stop, no further explanation or friendly advice. Lacking in ambience and warmth. Won't be making a second visit.

Really nice place. Good room size although a little dark. But I am working so the atmospheric lighting might not be an issue for a couple's break. Breakfast was good and the leisure centre is a real gem for the price.

Nice hotel, room was adequate, good customer service. We stayed I December so there was a lovely Xmas buffet menu. My sleep was Okay, the bed didn't feel too comfortable. Breakfast was nice except the scrambled eggs didn't taste right. Apart from that, it was a nice stay.

The main lobby and the bar are lovely! You do have to pay to park and it's not easy to figure out (although I believe they are currently changing the system) The rooms we were in seemed old, the chest of drawers was adequate but stiff, plugs are sparse and not near the bed, but beds are comfortable. Room had a hair dryer and iron and the bathroom bits were lovely with a little repair kit as well as shower caps and the usual.

Greeted by two members of staff, neither of them wanted to serve us, it was like being picked for a game of football, they were not helpful. We then got our room key and pointed to the elevators behind us, had no clue were we was going. On the way in we noticed in the car park there was a overnight guest parking for £8.00. We went upstairs to get settled and pay for the parking. There was no option for guest parking on the app, so back down stairs we went, only too be told by the member of staff that we needed to register our car on the device behind the counter. Would of been helpful to of been told this when we booked in. Overall experience of this hotel is not great.

This is a really nice hotel. Reception staff are really friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable. Bathroom needs a bit of a refurb hence the 4 stars. Lots of choices for breakfast but you have a bit of wait to be seated. Room service is only after 10pm and only sandwiches on offer.

The Croydon Park Hotel is situated just around the corner from East Croydon Station. We decided to have lunch at the restaurant buffet which was £22.50 a head. Initially the service was a bit surly but thawed to become much more friendly. The buffet choice was good with soup, a range of starters, mains and desserts. There was an emphasis on seafood and included were lobster, salmon and trout etc. With some meat options such as turkey. The selection was wide and the quality good considering the price. Desserts were a bit limited but of good quality with the option of cheese and biscuits too. Towards the end of our meal a number of dishes including desserts ran out but were not replenished. Overall, we left with the feeling it had been a good value lunch but we probably wouldn’t go back.

Must be renovated, no "renewed". Still three stars, for the location if London is to be visited. It is about 17 minutes from here by train to Victoria.

Overall a good hotel. Rooms are a little dated but for the money you pay I think it is good value. Friendly & helpful staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. Excellent location with car parking onsite (£5 per day). Have stayed here previously & would stay again.

We had our work Christmas party at the hotel. The hotel was all decked outhe with Christmas decorations and looked lovely. The hotel provided a good buffet of food for us all. It easy very tasty but a bit hit and miss with combinations as nothing was labelled. Not a massive problem for me but much harder for the vegetarians and allergy sufferers in the group.

I stayed here while working in Croydon due to the location being convenient from East Croydon station. Check in was nice and easy and the room was big and had everything you want from a hotel. Only downsides were that there was no plug socket near the bed for charging a mobile at I was hard to get the shower to the right temperature. I only stayed room only so can't comment on the food but there are lots of places to eat near by.

Very bad experience. The room was extremely old in everything. Sofa, bed, curtains, carpets and furniture were old and worn out. There was dirt on the sofa. Very bad lighting in the room and gave you a bad feeling. Also we had a bad experience with the staff. Room service never responded to out calls. On our way to check out, I called for someone to come carry my bags, but no one came. I think staff need to be trained to be helpful and cheerful. Also, they need to refurbish the rooms to be a 4 stars. Otherwise this should be 2 or maximum 3.

This is the type of place where you can dress up and look nice it has an air of opulence about it. Eating in the restaurant reminds me of how we used to eat all that cutlery on the table tablecloths napkins. The food here is excellent so much choice all very fresh and taste get ready to unloose your belt because you will need to and the really nice thing is that you can spend hours in here only having to leave when the staff need to clear away a wonderful place to hold a celebration.

I booked a executive double room there for a decent price and got upgraded to suite room. What a room, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Staff were attentive and professional. Building looked modern enough equipment fairly new. It was one night but a memorable one.

Is way too far from Biggin Hill to be considered as a crew hotel, but many crews are getting off. The fish and chips and the beers are legendary. Better not to go in every direction at night…

Used Barclay suite for evening class. Provided with tea and coffee. Everything acceptable, tea not great. Hotel is kept clean and tidy.

Went for lunch today. Wish I hadn't bothered. Typical lacklustre buffet meal in a dated hotel. Admittedly we dined towards the end of the serving period due to an absolutely dire lack of parking anywhere near the hotel, but the offerings were cold. The dish labelled "lobster" was just cold hard potatoes in a red sauce. The roast potatoes were hard and inedible. The roast pork was so tough my knife couldn't cut it, just tore it apart. I could go on but… I won't be going back!

The location is great — close to the station and shops/entertainment. The $10 breakfast buffet was great. Beds were very comfortable but the room stayed a bit hot.

Visited for professional event. Parking was sufficient, hotel was clean, bar was nice. All staff were very helpful and friendly.

I don't think there's anything really wrong with the hotel as such, it's not to my taste, though. The decor in the rooms looks like it's come from the 80s, as so the electricals (phone and hairdryer) that appear to be older than me. The building reminds me of Donald Trump. The room was very dark, with just a spotlight and small lamps to light it. I has the executive room that comes with a robe and slippers, and I found the robe quite rough (I like them soft and fluffy) a few more plug sockets would have been handy, too.

We had a family lunch for 12people to celebrate my father in laws 80th birthday. The food was lovely and there was plenty to choose from. The staff we very attentive and provided an alternative pudding for my son due to his dairy allergy. We would book lunch here again.

Good service overall. Some quirks would be that the reception never picked up calls. Apart from that, it is quite nice. Proximity from East Croydon station makes the location great too.

Good location, easy to find when leaving East Croydon train station. Excellent selection of food at breakfast. Room, bed linen and bathroom very clean. Would definitely stay at this hotel in future. We've previously stayed at the Clayton Hotel at Manchester airport which I believe is a sister hotel.

Great location, a stone's throw away from east Croydon train station. On-site car park a bonus. The decor may be a bit dated but the rooms had everything we needed. Fabulous breakfast buffet, regularly restocked by attentive staff. Friendly and helpful reception and housekeeping staff. Overall great for our needs.

Great strategic accommodation to visit London.

Nice hotel but the room was a bit warm at night. Powerful shower but the rooms are looking dated. One annoying thing was that there are no power sockets near the bed! The Wi-Fi is excellent all over the hotel and is very fast.

I really enjoyed my time at Park hotel. The services were great. I myself particularly enjoyed the leisure facilitie.

First the good. Very clean, very comfortable, very well kept. Staff are polite and well spoken. A short walk from East Croydon station which makes it ideal for getting in to or out of town. I didn't use the pool, gym or spa facilities but my colleagues said good things about them. Now the bad, DO NOT use the hotel restaurant — VERY VERY slow service, and when my food came it was not what I'd ordered despite the staff insisting it was. All in all I would stay again, but seeing as London is on your doorstep I would find somewhere else to eat in the evenings.

Enjoyed the stay. We used room service for breakfast but cooked breakfast was cold, I love hot coffee in the morning but coffee was cold too. Would definitely stay again. Reception staff were very nice and friendly.

It was a nice hotel with nice facilities but with poorly trained staff who provided incorrect information.

I was there to write a professional exam. From what I could see, the facilities are clean, smart and stylish, if a little dated. Staff are very professional.

Stayed for my birthday and had a lovely time. Friendly staff, nice small pool, enjoyable breakfast, comfy bed.

The hotel in general is really good. The executive room is large and really comfortable. The service is OK. The service in the restaurant could be better. The breakfast was nice and the food was fresh. My general impression: the hotel is really good and worth!

Convenient location, near to shops and near to mainline station. Nice bar, restaurant and gym. Good rooms and reasonably priced.

The Location is perfect because it's next to the East Croydon National Rail Station. Once you are out of the Station it's really easy to get there. The rooms and services are wonderful and nice.

Great rooms. Room 4 is very large. Breakfast is really good. Great deal. 3 mins walk from station and then 20 mins into Victoria. Very nice polite staff. Will be back.

The stay was mostly enjoyable, however I have a few complaints. 1. The Wi-Fi connection was constantly cutting out. I noticed that the router was a bit outdated. Perhaps an overhaul would benefit the signal strength and consistency of the connection throughout the building. 2. Housekeeping did a great job cleaning, however, some days some leftover glasses and trash was left on table sides. We also did not receive equal milk, sugar, biscuits etc on each day. Having said that, the food was great, the rooms were comfortable and quiet, and I would gladly come again.

Public rooms were fantastic, rooms a little dated but comfortable, tidy with good TV facilities. We enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable travel cot for our 14 month old son. Close to Croydon centre.

The worst hotel I have ever seen in many years. The service is poor and rooms are old and poorly furnished. The gym is rubbish and the swimming-pool is very small and crowded. The staff were rude and never paid attention to us. On the last day we had to hurry because the check out is at 10 AM! Out of 10 I may give it 2. My advice to visitors spend a bit more money and go to better hotels.

I visited the htel for a conference and dinner. Wasn't impressed at all as soon as I got in. It felt like entering a disaster zone with the floor wet from drops coming from the ceiling exposed. The service very poor, I felt like I had to beg to be served properly or at least in a professional manner and not like I was the reason why the staff wasn't doing better things! Food all right. I could have enjoyed more if it wasn't for how it was served.

Nice room, good size, very clean. Gym, pool sauna and hot tub were great. Staff were friendly. I would stay here again.
