I’ve been a regular guest at Overtown Manor for 5 years and it’s one of my most favourite places to stay! Nancy and Percy are fantastic hosts, the staff are just lovely and the rooms cosy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Nancy also offers a great space for meetings and team building events too with just the best home cooked lunches ever, all of which I’ve booked there and each having been a really positive experience.
The setting is idyllic in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside; great as a quiet retreat yet close enough to Swindon as a business link. I’ve loved my stays there be it for meetings, team building events or pleasure.
Overtown Manor has it all and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone passing through on either business or pleasure!
My partner, me and my 80 year old Mother stayed this weekend to attend a family wedding nearby. We were looking for somewhere peaceful to stay as we live in London. What a lovely place, Nancy and her family, couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay, the breakfast was excellent, the rooms spacious and clean, and with every amenity we could need. Add to that a beautiful garden to enjoy a glass of wine in and an excellent tea tray with home made chocolate chip cookies in the room, and all I can say is Mother threatened to throw herself down the stairs so she could stay! Also incredibly good value for such a lovely place!
