Really lovely village pub. Great place to spend an hour on a Sunday lunchtime!

The customer service here is second to none. I know a good few places where staff could do with training from these guys! The food is outstanding and cooked by professionals who really care about what they send out of their kitchen. The place is also very clean and the toilets absolutely immaculate (and smell amazing). Will definitely return!

Initially great Main course really tasty Then a group of 10 came in and never saw anyone when we wanted dessert Couple sat next to us were told they couldn't order food yet as kitchen was busy! Well do the 2 first! Add to that there's a service charge put on, even if you go to bar for drink yourself! Started great, ended up badly Not cheap but food is good.

We arrived last night at 10.30pm after having checked into a different hotel in the area, and consequently walking out in disgust. The Dog and Gun is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The room was absolutely beautiful! It was well equipped and spotlessly clean! We had a wonderful nights sleep in the most comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic, a good selection of cereals, juices, pastries and to top it all a beautifully cooked ‘full English’ and great selection of coffees. Thank you Dog and Gun …… you truly saved our life! We cannot wait to come back and would recommend anyone to stay here! One of our best stays ever! The staff were attentive, polite and accommodating. Don’t change a thing! You have got everything right! Thanks again 🥰

Extremely welcoming & friendly staff, dog friendly. Food is fantastic, highly recommend the pies. I had chicken, smoked gammon & leek and my wife had cauliflower cheese pie. Can highly recommend Pigswill bitter fr Stonehenge Ales. Could sit here all evening, fantastic relaxed atmosphere.

Stayed here on our list night of a three day hike. The staff were so accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. The steak pie was to die for 👏 We will most definitely be staying here again.

Apprehensive that we might be the only ones in tonight, celebratingy wife's birthday but thankfully very busy, great food might go back for a GF pizza soon.

Unfortunately having booked for an evening meal the menu just wasn’t for us. In fact one of the strangest menus the 4 of us have seen anywhere. Pub atmosphere was lovely as were the staff.

First time visiting dog and gun last night. Can’t wait to go back. Superb food and service would, definitely recommend.

Burnt pizza very limited menu. Was a boring meal out for a birthday left and went chip shop. Livery inside shame about the food.

We visited the Dog and Gun Inn with our dog for dog week and couldn’t get over how thoughtful the staff were. Dude (our dog) had his own bowl of water and 2 doggy biscuits and they gave him a dog bed to lay on.
We had a 3 course meal that was so delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The pub is following the covid guidelines exactly as they should. Thank you for a lovely experience xx.

Just loved the atmosphere at the D&G! So warm and cozy! The food was delicious and the staff were spectacular, going out of their way to make our visit to the UK unforgettable! A big thumbs up!
