Very nice, comfortable hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. At the best location i. E. Only a few yards from the departures building. Excellent sound proofing of the rooms. Lovely bar and restaurant areas.

We checked in around 1am after a flight home from holiday. The receptionist was lovely and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The only thing that could be improved (but we could have asked for them at reception) is for more milk cartons and another large towel to be in the room.

Expensive! Old room, furniture BOF, paintings to redo. Restaurant OK.

Great for airport access. Superb restaurant, bar and reception area. However, extortionate prices for a drink or food. Also local parking will cost you £39 a day!

Great location, nice hotel, good breakfast.

Easy check in. Room comfortable. Only complaint in the noise from other residents getting up for early flights. Talking loudly in the corridor, allowing doors to slam and showing no consideration for any one else. Can't blame the hotel for that though but some signs might make people think.

Right by airport, can walk to it. Good service. Rooms decent, mine with view of the airport. Great full English and continental buffet breakfast included in my booking. One of the long term car parks is opposite the hotel, behind it, but book it in advance so you get half price of at door price.

Decent, clean room. Separate bathroom and toilet, which is nice. Sadly, the latter doesn't flush very well. TV has radio channels, however, the staff are polite and helpful and breakfast and dinner are good.

Very convenient location as it is in near proximity to Birmingham Airport, NEC and train station. Staff were very polite, room was good, very quite considering how close it is to the airport runways. Food was good. No complaints. Will stay here again.

Nice hotel but location not right in the middle of it.

Absolutely loved my stay here! The staff were really friendly, and my room was super clean and modern, huge comfy bed. I stayed over for Insomnia gaming festival, the hotel is right outside the airport so quick access to that, aswell as the sky rail for the train station and NEC. Would fully recommend staying here to anyone!

Great service food and rooms. Made the mistake of staying at ibis around the corner as they where a little cheaper. But came here for much better rooms. Lovely place to stay before your holiday.

Great food and nice service.

I booked a disabled room and was given a disabled room. I requested a disabled room because I am disabled. Having travelled all the way from Swansea I was desperate for a shower before my long flight the following day. There was no shower in the room, just a bath. I knew that if I got into there I would have great trouble getting out. I decided to go without. I couldn't sleep without washing so eventually I tried to give it a go sitting on the edge. I ended up sliding down to the bath. I was now washed and clean … but fuct. I knew that I wouldn't be able to get out. There were no rails or anything like that to help me either. I had this vision of the fire brigade being called to yank me out and get me back onto my bed and missing my flight in a few hours time. It was with a great feat of determination that I did eventually managed to push myself up out of the bath. When it comes to disabled facilities, these people really have not got a clue. I need a level access shower or wet room with a seat under the shower. I can't be the only disabled person to be in this way. I had a similar experience the previous year at a Premier Inn in South Mimms.

It was good, for an airport hotel. Nice room, good service. The only real complaint I have is that the for in the restaurant was far too expensive.

Very convenient, just across drop-and-go car park, immediately outside arrivals exit and departures entry of Birmingham International Airport and shuttle to Birmingham International Rail Station. Quick and friendly check in. Quiet comfortable rooms. And not too pricey for its position and quality. Highly recommended. And, it's French, so the food is excellent.

Very nice rooms and excellent staff. The shower fails because the floor gets wet, però the rest Feten.

Fantastic hotel and fantastic service. Room was immaculate. Plenty of great facilities and the disabled accessible room was more than spacious. Bathroom was huge! Downside, is that someone who is wheelchair bound, would not easily be able to shower or bathe in the bathroom, as there were no wetroom facilities.

Visited overnight guests so only went to bar and restaurant — food and cocktails were great and obviously made with fresh, good quality ingredients. Staff were very friendly, welcoming & attentative. Will definitely try to book a room ourselves next time we're in the area as we were so impressed!

A very courteous and friendly check-in and check-out. Great service in the bar and comfortable, quality seating. The bedroom had everything we needed eg choice of pillows, TV, tea & coffee facilities. The hotel soundproofing is amazing as we couldn't hear anything whilst in our room, even though we were on the site of a very busy airport. On the downside, the shower floor was really dirty (ground in so needed to be scrubbed) and the fridge in the room didn't work. We only stayed for 3 nights and attended a local conference, we didn't spend much time in the room so didn't feel the need to report these or make a fuss. One thing which I didn't expect and you may be able to make savings on is that our bar of soap was changed every day for a new one, whereas one would have lasted the 3 days.

On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very good and in the evening the meal we had was very enjoyable. We booked the hotel for one night as we had an early flight the following morning. I would recommend this hotel due to the locality and the room was very quiet.

I really enjoy staying at the Novotel, but paying £17.50 for two large wines is excessive. Your rooms are nice and large and the bed sleeps well. The breakfast is nice but your continental section is extremely limited. No boiled eggs and very poor breakfast meats and cheese and limited choice. I find this strange for a French company. Your hashbrowns are really tasty. The staff is very friendly, however, they seem to get a bit confused serving you at the bar.

From the Novotel chain I would have expected much more, dingy, old, impersonal. The old carpet and that smelled of stale smoke. Booked only because close to the airport. To know that the Ibis was attached I would have booked that. No Value for money.

Very pleasant experience. Nice looking reception area with good restaurant and bar area, experienced both with pleasure. Staff friendly and attentive. Stayed for one night prior to an 8am flight. Airport terminal literally a few steps from hotel entrance. Bedroom comfortable with no noise intrusion from airport. This was a great way to start our holiday.

We stayed overnight as had an early morning flight. Booked a hotel & parking package which worked out as great value for money. Hotel is located just outside the entrance for departures. It is comfortable, clean, modern, with good amenities and a lovely bar. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Once again a single overnight stay prior to an early flight but as always a pleasant experience. The rooms are always clean, the tea/coffee making facilities are welcome and the beds are always comfortable. We took advantage of the breakfast as usual and it was fine with a reasonable choice available. The Novotel staff were friendly and efficient as always. We have stayed many times before and certainly will again.

We stayed with my two grandchildren who were aged 13 and 12. However, although the room was very clean etc. I think the room very small for four people, adequate for two. As it was only one night we managed okay but would recommend anyone staying with two other people, book a separate room. staff very friendly and helpful. Found the food and drinks although of good standard, a bit pricey.

Nice warm welcome, very helpful reception staff. Didn't have to queue to check in, friendly guy came to us with his iPad and took all the details, very helpful. Nice clean hotel and room and comfortable bed. Didn't use the bar but had breakfast in the morning and that was good too, friendly staff in the breakfast room. Would happily recommend this hotel-absolutely perfect if you're flying, just a two minute walk to the airport front entrance.

Strategic Hotel for those who need to be within easy reach of the airport.

Normal, I expected a little more, like a bathroom mat, an extra soap, for the rest normal.

Very close to the airport, very convenient if you arrive at night. Nice room Though a bit dated, tidy and clean. Good breakfast.

It was a very nice place to be in the area and it was very good. When it rains as it happened almost every time, although you are in front of the terminal you get soaked. Otherwise it's OK.

Bang outside departures, you can't get closer. Gourmet burger delicious and reasonably priced.

Very convenient location for the NEC, made to feel welcome. Lovely room with lots of space.

Great location, small lifts (don't try and take a luggage trolly in them! ) and the bed was a bit hard. The put up bed for our daughter was more comfy!

Had a lovely stay for a hotel! Free Wi-Fi has reliable reception. Dinner and breakfast is good, they have a range if things to choose from in the morning especially — that's, cereals, juices, fruit, yogurts, whatever you fancy. Only problem I would say is that the lift is small, especially for a busy hotel so close to an airport. You can squeeze five people in, but that's WITHOUT any luggage.

Very nice hotel at a great price through one of their deals. Stayed for an NEC exhibition and would recommend to anyone doing the same.

We stayed here for 5 nights and we're really happy! It is super Close to the Airport and to the NEC. The room was clean and comfortable. The food at the Restaurant was outstanding. Great service and a great price. The only downside is the breakfast, but that's just me as I don't like british breakfast that much.

Best part is the fast Wi-Fi and the close proximity to the airport. Rooms were a little on the small side but not too bad for an overnight stay.

Great place to stay and had the best curry ever in a restaurant down the road called Rasa based in Marston Green make sure you try it when in birmingham.

Travelling from this airport for 19 years now. I love it. Only thing that I'm starting to despise is the main terminal's departure lounge, all white, low ceilings and no actual windows showing planes?! Feels a bit closed in therefore. Hmm viewing lounge gone too. Shame really but maybe things will revert in time, still cant beat this airport though.

Only dropped my colleague off. Took 11 minutes. NCP insisted on billing me £2 My company will not use Novotel any where again.

Birmingham Airport Hotels Very efficient check-in by pleasant informative staff. My room was clean and well equipped. Despite ongoing upgrade work to the hotel, I thought that potential disturbance was well managed.
