Great experience from the Hotel team, felt very welcomed at check in by Katherine, also thanks to Andrew and ilona and the rest of the team for welcoming me and my wife and for being so accommodating top service!

Lovely stay for our Silver wedding anniversary. Upgraded our room for us with a thoughtful card from the staff. Spa was amazing and we just had an amazing time. Sky bar was lush and so was the breakfast.
We will definitely be back, can’t wait.

Beautiful hotel — spacious and clean rooms with comfy beds. Access to the spa was included and the pool and Jacuzzi were a great bonus! Would recommend for those going to the NEC or the airport nearby — will definitely visit again!

Lovely rooms, comfy beds, great food. All within a great little outlet mall with a good range of shops for a little retail therapy. Throw in the fairly wide range of resturants that surround the hotel and you've got a really nice place to visit for a great weekend away. Well recommended.

Great hotel to be close to resorts world for shopping. Would return. Rooms were clean and spacious and received an upgrade/ discount card from polite staff.

4th visit, upgraded to a superior room as had good offer through the hotel website. Excellent value for money with spa access, car parking and mini bar included. Rooms comfortable and very clean, always very quiet. Good selection of facilities with shops, eating places, bars etc. We are tapas in the High Line bar, very nice and well presented. Staff in all areas always friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic from the off! Staff genuinely great, nothing is too much trouble. Beds and room clean and very comfortable with the added extra of a nespresso coffee machine! Lobby bar great, quiet when we were there but great atmosphere. Lots to do at Resorts world. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, great food and lots of choice — we did take note of the best times to go as I can imagine at peak times it can be quite busy. We didn't make use of the spa as we had other plans but will definitely use this on our return. If you want the feeling of escaping from reality for a night or two — I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! staff and hotel are more 5* than 4! you won't be disappointed :-)

Basing this review overall. The rooms and bathrooms are decent and comfortable. Not overly noisy. The breakfast forget it. Fairly standard food. Queue for 20 minuets! Asked for decaf tea or coffee which wasn’t available apparently. When I mentioned this at check out it turns out decaf was available but as they were so busy (understaffed) they couldn’t be bothered to go the the other bar to get it. You would think a refund of the breakfast element would have been offered. But it wasn’t.

Hot and stuffy! And nice size rooms though, but for the money I’d stay somewhere else.

Had a Commitee meeting there. Had lunch in the bar. Food was very mediocre. Soup was tepid although they did take it back and heated up again. Ambience is good, lovely view. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Genting Hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, within Birmingham. Its room are nicely decorated, clean and technologically equipped. Parking was quite pricey, but you do get a minor discount if staying at the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and a good size. My stay included breakfast and welcome drink. I did not receive the drink upon arrival so had to phone reception to request it. The breakfast was outstanding. So much selection and the quality of the food was very high.

Stayed on third floor for one night as a treat to ourselves. The room was lovely, nice toiletries and beverages included too. All the staff were fabulous but the young guy on reception, Beau, was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a leisurely mooch round the shops, followed by pizza express and a few hours in the sun on Sky Bars outside area.
Quick change and then to World Bar where there was a great band playing. Quick look on the casino but we were underwhelmed with that do back to Sky Bar where a singer was performing. Lovely atmosphere in both the bars with people dancing and singing and generally having a great time. We thought the hotels complimentary drinks were a nice touch but we are unable to comment on the breakfast as we didn’t get up in time surely the sign of a great night!

Very nice hotel. Shame you don't allow kids in the pool. £18 per person breakfast is ridiculous! I will come back though as the hotel is beautiful. The staff make this stand out from the other surrounding hotels. There is also a cinema and shops in the same building very handy when you're here for the weekend.

Wanted to treat myself so booked the Winter Warmer package for my friend and I. Opted for a superior twin room at a cost of £250. Arrived at 2pm, check in was 3pm but receptionist said room was ready. Room was on the forth floor. Nice, clean modern room, with views of the lake from the window. There was a kettle, Nespresso machine and complimentary mini bar, supplied with hot chocolate, tea, coffee capsules, premixed alcoholic drinks, water, crisps and chocolate. Had a look around Resorts World small but nice shopping centre. Went back to room to change for dinner (and make full use of the minibar! ). Went to the Sky bar and restaurant on the top floor of the hotel and was given a complimentary glass of prosecco. Feeling a bit peckish decided on dinner in a restaurant in the shopping centre called Las Iguanas. Opted for a bread board and a Brazilian chicken dish which was a bit bland but OK. Afterwards went to the World bar for a few gin cocktails, very nice and reasonably priced. Retired to the hotel room for the night, beds were very comfortable but small. In the morning went downstairs to the Robata restaurant for a buffet style breakfast. Sat by the window overlooking the lake. On the whole breakfast was good, although black pudding was rubbery and poached eggs requested, very vinegary. There was a good selection of fresh fruit. After breakfast we checked out and went up to Santai Spa, where we had treatments booked.

Perfect! Amazing time, very clean, Phil the duty manager upgraded our room to the Vegas Room as it was my big four zero, so thank you for that Phil. Also Dean Green the manager of the Sky Bar done everything he could to make our evening lovely. Thank you Phil & Dean. We will be coming back.

Excellent hotel with great service. Ideally placed for shopping and eating opportunities and there is a casino if that is your thing.

Flashy looking hotel with little substance, on closer inspection it feels cheap. Reception staff are good and the bar staff in the Skybar are excellent too. The breakfast is a let down and a very poor selection, the team is apparently led by an arrogant head chef who has no skill in cooking eggs, I have tried all forms in my visits here and she has not produced, most recently a boiled egg was still raw. I barely got an apology. Also her repeated smoke breaks outside the main entrance are a turn off. Rooms are large but do not seem to have fixtures and fittings that last. I have stayed here with colleagues many times and every visit there has been an issue with at least one bathroom.

Great atmosphere and drinks selection. Visited before going to a gig at the adjacent arena!

Lovely room on 3rd floor for a cheeky night away for me and the wife. Check in was very friendly and welcoming, when the receptionist found out it was the 29th Anniversary of me and the wife meeting we were given complimentary cava. Bar staff friendly in the ground floor lobby, very good service. We are in the pizza in pizza express which was forgettable to say the least, night at the cinema was as good as expected finished of with a couple of hours in the casino where we doubled our starting stake. Great evening and night.

Ok not brilliant nice rooms.

Our room was a standard room. Large bed with a good sized bathroom which had a bath and shower. Large room with fridge and Nespresso machine. Evening refresh.

Only went to the bar, but it seemed busy and a nice looking hotel.

This is just a review of the sports bar not the hotel. The whole casino experience was grim. It’s full of mostly 70+ year olds plunging small coins in the slot machines. We just wanted a beer, but were subjected to questions and a search before being allowed in the sports bar. The bar it’ Self was terminally grim, too bright and at 20:on a Thursday night we were the only people in there. I felt isolated and unomftable. It was horrible, I can’t see me ever going back there. To cap, it off £15.00 charges for over an hour of parking is a joke. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are places within a few miles that are fantastic. Sorry to use these words but this place is absolutely Shit. Avoid at all costs!

Watched sports at the sports bar. Move onto casino, great atmosphere and service all round.

The hotel was amazing and so was the service. It was my fiancee's birthday and they gave us complimentary prosecco after checking in! Rooms were very spacious and clean. Hotel stay was fab and location is perfect for food, drink and shopping!

The rooms, bars and restaurants were all brilliant but the service in the hotel was exceptional.

The Genting Hotel — Was emaculate extremely clean and tidy — Staff are very friendly and always willing help with any task — Rooms are well sized and kitted well — I Would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here last week with my girlfriend and it was amazing. Enjoyed the whole experience and would defo recommend here!

Beautiful room, very clean and lovely to have the Nespresso machine. The location is within 10 minutes walk of Birmingham International and is near a stunning lake. Great breakfast. Would 100% recommend.

The hotel was in good condition and well decorated. The service was very hit and miss — for example producing a bill was very difficult for them (! ). Also, we had a meeting there and the toilet arrangement was very odd, there were no toilets for meeting to use so we had a room key and had to use a bedroom. It was also very expensive for what it was. Would probably not go there again.

Booked a suite for one night and arrived at 3.30 which is after check in time. The room was not ready on arrival. An hour later we were given our key card. We arrived at our room to find it still being cleaned. I was eventually ready at 5pm and we had to be ready for a function for 6pm which didn't give us much time to be ready. The room was lovely but the shower didn't work and the toilets would not flush. Would not stay here again.

Nice bar, relaxed great atmosphere.

Not a bad place to be totally honest and the parking charges have come down to a very reasonable level. I still have to say though that there always seems to be one particular outside car park that is shut which can be a little inconvenient. The range of shops is ok but they could definitely do with more such as a Moss Menswear and a River Island. All in all its set in a good location away from the busy city centre, you can go outside to take a breather by the water and given that there is a cinema it's all pretty good. As someone who hates crowds this place isn't usually that busy but you still get a few low lives hanging around.

I was discriminated on by a bouncer tonight at the casino for having tattoos. He was agressive and in my face as soon as I tried to enter. He tried to bully me into signing up when I already stated I wasnt going to. I felt like a second class citizen in that place and it ruined my night. Avoid this place at all cost.

Update: The Car Park is much improved and the prices have dropped dramatically. The Cineworld is possibly the best I have ever been to. Great legroom and all the screens are well sized. The staff are helpful and there is a Starbucks right inside. The casino is a great night out, just be careful with your money. Lots of restaurants to eat at and meet friends. The shops are average and doesn't compare to something like Bicester Village. However I feel at a busy time like Christmas they might be a lot more popular. Casino: great Cinema: great Shops: okay Restaurants: great Views: great.

Took a midlands train there and the Resorts World was so conveniently placed — like a 7 minute walk from Birmingham International. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Genting Hotel for our anniversary and were amazed — they even sent up a present for the occasion! Prices are what you'd expect at a hotel but the food was terrific and the service is A*. Just quickly gonna list what we did: Nandos — best Nandos ever been to TGI — great service Robata — amazing atmosphere, great service (shoutouts to Tom) Cineworld — best cineworld ever been to Genting Casino — user friendly Medispa — open to hotel users so amazing pool and outdoor jacuzzi Outlet Shopping — soo damn cheap and fantastic (shoutout to Body Shop) Sky Bar — fantastic view Yes, most of the place was empty but we prefer this to somewhere like Westfield in London. I almost wish that more people would go so it would get the recognition it deserves, but at the same time … I want it to be my little secret — so don't come here :)

Looked like a ghost town when I went there, other than the annoying security, the place was empty with very few shops/restaurants, went to see a film at cineworld which was pretty good so I guess the 2 stars go to them really. Car parking was shockingly bad, after waiting in a queue for 15 minutes (strangely, there were more people queuing to park than people inside the building), I was told to park in a different car park which was a 15 minute walk away from the entrance, almost missed the beginning of the film (thank god for long adverts before films) I have worked at the NEC and have been given the same treatment with regards to parking and I can tell you now it is very annoying, didn't think I'd get the same treatment as a visitor.

Another good place for shopping. Nice and quite. Only problem with the parking ticket machines. Should have near the way out instead of half mile walking distance. Most of the machines were out of order. Junaid wolverhampton.

Resorts World. It's a Cinema, with Casino some restaurants, and some shops. Let's start at the beginning. Good Points: It has an IMAX Cinema, and a good variety of films, there's plenty of restaurants to go to for food and some nice views outside the building across the water. The casino and hotel all linked in together so nice touch there too. The shop level looks good with some nice decor. Bad Points: The layout of the signage up to the building/car park is rubbish. The car park layout is the worst I've seen for a new modern building and the whole inside is a rubbish layout with little to no signage of any use. The top floor has nothing but a spa on it but a nice view out the building. The bottom floor has a restaurant at the moment and again confusing layout. So the shops are pretty good, basically a small outlet village, some nice restaurants but the place is let down by appalling layout from start to finish and for a newly purpose built building is unforgivable. The architect him self should be forced to work there. Cinema, restaurant and a few shops, nice but not up to the hype it received sadly. Some lovely features. Tips: take in the view from the top floor across the lake, really nice. Check out the few restaurants on the very ground floor, and TGI has a nice outside seating area. The building across the lake that looks like a derelict haunted house is actually the back of the Hilton Hotel.

Of a seven floor complex, one floor contained, frankly, invaried and in many cases badly priced shops (especially for an outlet), the rest was a combination of insufficient and unimaginative resteraunts, a cineworld, a few other activity centers, and totally useless information points. Not worth any effort to visit, at least not in its current state. Parking is cheap for January at least so if visiting NEC would recommend.

I really like it here not too busy, nice Cafes, Next and H&M outlets, I like the Lindt shop too, and The Gift Company. Only thing you have to check and compare prices as not sure if The Works is an outlet shop as it charges same prices as any other. Had a few bargains in Hallmark cards and lovely scented candles as well as a few xmas gifts from The Body Shop the more you spend the bigger discount. Not tried the bars but will go to the cinema and I work at the NEC so its handy for me if I ever need a gift or card for anyone. Staff in the shops are friendly and helpful. Am hoping it will get better once Costa and Nandos are open plus the other shops that were closed before!

Its a must visit, bargains to be had. Plenty of places to eat. A cinema and a hotel too. Placed right next to a pool so views are good and well worth a walk to look back on the building itself. Nice and quiet outlet shopping centre thats all new.

My husband & I were with a coach party organised by Newmarket Holidays. We are both 70yrs old & have Arthritis, but would not consider ourselves to be disabled, just having some mobility issues. We had to walk a very long distance after the coach pulled into the West car park, only to be told by the security officer inspecting my bag that there was a shuttle bus. Not happy! He told us where to go after the concert to get the shuttle back to West car park, which we were pleased about. At the theatre entrance we were informed that our seats (which were not chosen by us) were upstairs & that there was no lift. This is just not acceptable in this day & age! Bearing in mind that for a Neil Diamond concert there would be a substantial number of older people at the venue, surely better arrangements should be made to ensure that everyone who needs assistance gets it. After the concert, which was very enjoyable, we duly went in the direction of the shuttle, checking on the way that there was indeed a bus to the West car park. Well, it turns out that none of the three people who assured us the bus was in existence, had no idea what they were talking about! The buses went only to the East car park. So… not only did we then have to make our way back to the Arena, but yet again take the very long walk from there to the coach in the West car park! A very pleasant evening was completely ruined by the fact that by the time we sat on the coach we could hardly move for the pain of arthritis!

Saw Take That. Food majorly overpriced. Plenty of toilets which keeps the queue to a minimum. Great concert though and easy to access by car.

Work your balls off, cycling to and from work (16 miles each way), doing a 14 hour night shift, covering other staff that haven't turned up THEN get the sack for turning in late one day because you overslept due to the fact you did 65 hours the week previous for them. To top it all off, the overtime never got paid.

It is not a very welcoming building. Dark and industrial, but clean and plenty of staff around. The food hall is overpriced and they don't supply knives so you have to try eating fajita wraps or fish and chips just with a plastic fork. The food area seating is OK, all plastic and chrome like many a cheap cafe. Once inside the concert part it is all black — but I suppose all arenas are. It is only smaller theatre venues that have any decor. Good safety signage and friendly staff — adults who look like they know what they are doing rather than unqualified youngsters.

Been many times to watch WWE Live and also a televised event here, very enjoyable and great venue.

Being 6 foot 3 I didn't have much leg room and the toilets stank, other than these 2 negative points. The rest was good.

It was awsome I'm going again in January.

Great music venue with decent acoustics. Would definitely visit again. The ony let down was the bland and overpriced food.

Having been to the LG Arena last night 29th March2014, as a VIP Guest of TALKTALK to see the X-Factor live tour, myself been Disabled we went back stage for a meet and greet with the stars of the show. On the way there I had mobility problems and your fantastic staff got me a wheel chair and pushed me everywhere I needed to be and also changed our seats to allow for the wheelchair access. The show was very enjoyable and worth seeing, but I must say a very big thank you to all your Absolutley Fantastic and very Helpful Staff for making our visit most memorable.
