A nice stay from welcoming hosts. Good facilities and a very clean room :)
Stayed here for one night on 25/08/19 before departing from Stansted for our holiday the next day. Beautiful, peaceful little place in the Essex countryside but only a short ride to the airport, under 10 mins, but very quiet as not under the flight path.
The owner, Sue, was great, a lovely lady who was very accommodating and helpful. She wasn’t there when we arrived (which she had e-mailed me about prior to arrival) but there’s a self check-in service that’s all so easy!
Our room was very clean and well equipped with three single beds, a surprisingly spacious bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and cutlery. We also had an outside table and chairs so ordered in pizza and sat out in the glorious evening sunshine by a huge willow tree to enjoy our meal.
It was a great start to our holiday and would definitely stay again! Thanks Sue and hubby for a stress-free start to our holiday — we loved it and considered it the first night of our break — not just a stop-over!
