Room very clean and extremely spacious.

As per usual a lovely nights sleep. Located close to shops and the Beefeater Smugglers haunt next door.
Definitely would return.

Friendly staff and quiet location. Comfy beds.

I can not fault the staff. They were nice, helpful and friendly. The reason for the bad review was that it was so hot we couldn't sleep for the 3 nights we stayed there. We had arrived having just stayed at the farringdon premier where in heat up to 34°c we slept well due to air con in the rooms. Our room here was 26-28°c while the temperature was 16-20°c outside. A fan was provided but this did little to help. The fact that the window would only open 4" was also unhelpful! air con needs to be added for the comfort of your customers and staff!

The restaurant food is absolutely terrible. The worst I’ve been offered this year, would never stay here again.
Also bed had grit/sand in it totally unacceptable.

Small but OK for an overnight stay. Wouldn't recommend for a holiday but perfect for a stop off point while visiting friends or relatives.

Good & clean. However the room on the 1st floor was incredibly hot. The window only opened a fraction presumably for health & safety reasons. They had provided a large fan which we had to keep running all night in spite of its clicking noise! Air conditioning needed!

Tired building in need of refurbishment, no aircon in the room but a large fan was provided. Staff very efficient. Breakfast is laid on in the pub next door — not an ideal breakfast dining room and very noisy with music playing too loud, as well as being tired and dingy. Cheap acceptable overnight accommodation but skip the breakfast option!

Pretty standard Premier Inn, it knows what it is and it does it well. The room was nice, clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beefeater next to the hotel was friendly and decently priced. There was enough free parking outside so staying there was a good experience and not a hassle.

Have stayed here many times. The beds are big and comfortable and the rooms quiet in spite of being next to a main road. The pub next door is a standard Beefeater tavern and the food is good and tasty. My only gripe is about the bathrooms. There are not enough towel rails to hang towels out to dry off properly (if you are staying more than one night). Consequently, unless you have them changed each day, you start the morning off with damp towels.

Very good the room was comfortable we were in room 3 which is at the back of the hotel therefore a little on the darker side. However the room was clean and tidy. I can't understand why there is only one hand towel as standard. The Beefeatergrill next door also was good and the price reasonable providing you were on seat before 6.30pm. Staff very obliging and friendly.

Cookie cutter premier Inn experience, if you have stayed at one of the chain then you know what to expect. Location has beefeater on site and access to a large sainsbury and macdonalds.

Dreadful breakfast and long wait. At least 45mins. Bad, weak coffee. Bed not as good as usual.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, be aware there is no AC (only heater), free Wi-Fi but slow. If you want to eat something you need to make few steps to the near by restaurant…

Easy to find, usual level of Premier Inn quality (you know what you're getting — good bed, clean rooms, 12:00 checkout etc). A little let down on breakfast in the Beefeater — although we did get there close to end of service (15mins), but there was no hot water for tea/coffee, most of the buffet had gone and wouldn't be replaced. Bear that in mind if you want a lay-in!

Great bed, maybe a little more insulation needed between the floors, we were on the ground floor and upstairs were very noisy.

Room was clean and presentable but was quite warm and stuffy. Breakfast at the adjacent Beefeater was nice but there Isn't much natural light which is a small shame.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. I see from other comments that the breakfast, next door restaurant, can be good but as another visitor has mentioned the poached egg was barely cooked; it was raw and the white watery. Overheard another visitor ordering 2 eggs on toast and had to warn him. Overall good hotel, friendly staff but ditch the raw egg chef.

Nice and friendly staff overrall, Premier Inn hotels in general are the best all round affordable accommodation there is in the UK.

What's to say! A no-frills hotel, but very comfy beds and good showers — what more do you need? Good choice of eateries within easy walking distance. Very clean, with staff that care. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for two nights (18th-20th august) we had a very lovely stay had the best night sleep ever the staff were ever so friendly would do anything for u when we come back from a day out the maid even laid all the kids teddies n blankets out for them the breakfast we had was fantastic can't complain at all also had dinner and had something from there saved menu and that was absolutely fantastic even the kids ate all there dinner we will be back.

Excellent location, friendly staff and quiet comfy room and finally Premier Inn have realised that we all need more sockets. Would stay here again.

Good location for Bournemouth and Dorchester, The Smuggler's Rest was great for food as well.

Great location, very friendly staff and for a fair price. The restaurant "Smugglers Haunt" gets very busy, so make sure you book a table if you wish to eat there. It is a good standard of Premier Inn, but make sure you ask for a room at the rear of the hotel, if you are a light sleeper like me.

Hotel was brilliant however I thought the food at the beefeater was very disappointing. All you can eat breakfast and the waiter came over giving us options in relation to ordering our cooked breakfast. Mushrooms were under cooked and poorly cooked poached eggs and not too sure what was going on with the quorn sausages. You need to improve your chef!

Great location for the hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are laid out well for families. Very accommodating with our room needs. Would go again.

The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Although there was free Wi-Fi, it was rather slow. It was next to a great pub-restaurant, though they seem to get very busy, and we were lucky to get a table without booking. The hotel is also right across the road from a large supermarket, so easy to get anything you forgot. Some friends of ours enquired about a last minute room, but we're quoted double what we had payed.

As comfortable as any Premier Inn, but especially good as it's new, has ample parking and a large TV in the room.

Lovely room, with the standard very comfortable bed, very clean, great shower, pillow selection, and very quiet despite being next to a very busy road. Staff friendly and helpful as always. Another great stay!

Hotel was great, clean modern rooms. Food in the Smugglers was great, friendly and helpful staff. The only issue was the dirty crockery and cutlery. Overall though a great stop over.

Always had a lovely stay here — even when there have been issues (5 stays in recent years) — they have sorted them quickly and without fuss — short walk to the Sainsburys too if you want to sort a picnic for a day trip or forgot anything!

Myself and my 7 year old son had an amazing time this weekend down in Ferndown, Bournemouth! We were visiting a friend for their 40th birthday party and found this hotel very close by to where we needed to be. It was my son's first time staying in a hotel in the UK. It was a lovely spacious room, very comfortable, great service, fantastic breakfast and my little boy even commented the next morning how good his breakfast was! There was great car parking facilities too! We will definitely be back because he wants to see Peppa Pig World! An affordable hotel and very comfortable, fantastic value for money!
