My partner and I stayed for a night at the weekend after I was lucky enough to win a competition prize! So friendly and welcoming and a really lovely b&b. I also loved how beautifully decorated it was for Christmas! Thank you so much, the bottle of fizz and personalised flutes where also a lovely touch! Thoroughly recommend 😊

Absolutely brilliant stay really welcoming clean modern with great quirky furnishings thank you to Vicki who made us feel very welcome and we really enjoyed our cherry bake wells in the bar Sat night thank you.

I cannot put into words how amazing Chris has been!
I planned a hen party to stay here. Chris and his team went above and beyond on all aspects of our stay, nothing was to much trouble. We booked afternoon tea with them and it was unreal! I would highly recommend to anyone. Cannot thank them enough!

Absolutely fantastic B&B. We stayed 2 nights and could not fault our stay. Chris went above and beyond to help us celebrate our friend's 50th birthday and we are so grateful to him and his team for their help making the weekend a special one. The B&B is clean, comfortable well located and we had the best breakfast on both mornings with quality ingredients. Have just got back from my hen do staying at the Chelsea hotel. Amazing bar / restaurant area. Really friendly people / staff/ managers. Clean rooms and a wicked breakfast. Could not rate this hotel enough, will definitely be going back! X.

Great place to stay! The recent refurbs are great — wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bournemouth. Breakfast is always top, cocktails on point and hospitality amazing. Keep up the good work Chris & team!

A very friendly welcome by Chris and his team. Hotel is clean and tidy, cocktails were fab! And to top it off a full English which was very satisfying :) we definitely will be back!

My friends and I booked the Chelsea Hotel for one nights stay and we had a great time. The gent running the hotel was so welcoming, great banter and very helpful. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the price per night is brilliant.
Breakfast was also delicious and at £6.50 for full breakfast, how can you say no?!
I would love to stay here again — thanks guys for being a part of our great weekend ☺️

5* service, 5* comfort, 5* breakfast ⭐️ If you’re looking for a place to stay as a large group, small group or just a couple I highly recommend the Chelsea hotel! Chris and the team did everything they could to make our weekend enjoyable! Nothing was too much and Chris and the team were there straight away to accommodate us. Reasonably priced drinks served in the bar area, rooms were very modern and the beds were super comfy! BREAKFAST was lovely just what you need after a …night out, unlimited juice and tea and coffee.

Just got back from my Hen Weekend at the Chelsea hotel in Bournemouth & I would absolutely recommend this hotel as a place to stay for any Hen or Stag weekend. Chris, Liam and their team were fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble, their rooms are perfect for big groups, the location is ideal as walking distance from everything you need & there breakfast is just what the Dr ordered after a few drinks the night before. They also hosted a cocktail making night which I absolute…ly loved and would suggest everyone does if you stay! My highlights are:

We booked the Chelsea Hotel for my daughters hen weekend. This is my second time here. Chris, Liam and all their staff made her weekend so memorable for her.
They went above and beyond throughout the whole weekend and we are so grateful.

Cheap place to stay with comfy beds and cool host whom I believe owns the hotel. Great value for Money and very clean! Good place to crash if you passing through Bournemouth.

Lovely atmosphere, all credit to new owners, we were made to feel very welcome, the rooms were beautifully decorated, beds were comfy and breakfast was gorgeous. Will definitely be booking again. Oh and the cocktails were divine.

What a fabulous place! Chris was an excellent professional host, the rooms were immaculate and comfortable. Great location and the breakfast was by far one of the best I’ve ever had. He was very accommodating for me and my 8 friends especially when we checked in and sat at the bar… great all round! Would definitely recommend and we will be coming back in the summer!

Just came back from a lovely stay at the Chelsea Hotel, Chris was very professional throughout our stay. The B&B is in a great location, right next to the train station and approx 15-20min walk from Bournemouth beach and it’s also really close to lots of restaurants and local shops you have everything you need right on the door step. The B&B it’s self was immaculate throughout, the cleaner is also very professional and always said hello when we saw her. Our room was cleaned… daily and towels were also provided. Selection of tea, coffee and milk in the rooms was great you get more than what you’d usually get staying in a hotel! Great value for money, we will definitely be returning.

Lovely hotel in a great location for the train station, town centre and the beach. We had a lovely big room, cooked breakfasts and a very helpful Manager. Highly recommend it!

Room was basic and tiny for 3 adults women and the owner was a bit of a know it all. I wouldn't return.

Stayed in this amazing b&b recently. The new owner is so lovely and makes you feel really welcome! The room was a great size and the beds are very comfy! It wasn't expensive to stay, and the breakfast was great value for money. I would recommend this b&b to everyone who would like to stay in Bournemouth.

Had a look around this b and b today with the new owner, Chris. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and overall feel of the place. The breakfast room and bar was very cosy and comfortable. The new owner has lots of fantastic ideas on how he will improve The Chelsea. Can't wait to see the changes that he will make over the next year. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a clean, friendly bed and breakfast in Bournemouth (only a 5 min walk to the train station)

This is the second time I have stayed here and returned due to the affordable price for its location. 100% improvement than my last stay here yesterday. Chris the new manager could not do enough for us. Good size room and comfy bed. The bar was a bonus for a few drinks before going to the bars which was a 10min walk. Recommend staying here and I will be returning. Thank you for a great stay.

Amazing place. Right in the heart of the town. The new management are top notch and attended to my every need. Very clean rooms and great breakfast. Really recommend this place.

The room itself could of been worse. When I picked up the keys the room had not been cleaned until later. Rubbish was not collecting as requested. The owner comes across very hard faced and frankly does not heard her feelings from guests. On the other hand the hotel assistant was very friendlyand welcoming. The police showed up at the hotel due to an altercation and although that should not put the hotel in a bad light, but since finding out the particular area is run down and a red light district. I shall avoid staying there again. Their was a little mini fridge and a chest of drawers which came in handy and free Wi-Fi.

Did the job. No frills. Ticked all the boxes asked of of it for a stag party.

Awful, bed on wheels so when u turn over u end up by the window, toilet not big enough to swing a cat in, breakfast terrible, on arrival armed police sat outside, no where to park. Needs a lot of work done as the appearance of the front is from the 50's broken buzzer (telecom)

Very friendly and receptive owner. Prices very reasonable and rooms clean and good. Nice comfy beds and sizeable shower.

This is a residential hotel, meaning that it caters to longer-term residents, not casual travelers. It is a sign that the rooms let for 35 but we were charged 110 per day due to the busy season. There is no front desk, but the proprietor is on site. Linens are changed on the third day, a bath towel and a bath mat are provided — but flannels (face cloth) are not. Hand soap is provided in a dispenser on the wall, but soap and shampoo are not provided. There is an electric kettle and packets of instant coffee, tea, sugar and milk in the rooms, but regrettably, the cups were already sticky in our case. There is an ASDA within walking distance as well as a gas station and convenience store. The train, bus and taxi station are also quite close. Beds were cot size and perfectly suitable for children sleeping, but poorly sprung for an adult. Room was small, but clean and adequate. Plumbing was a little more questionable, with water coming up in the shower drain whenever the sink or toilet was used. Now the caution: This is not the nicest neighborhood. Parking is difficult to find (street only), the neighborhood is not quiet, nor is it unusual to smell various foulness from adjacent steps and doors in the neighborhood. Our family was met one late evening by a man (clearly a resident) smoking pot on the front doorstep.

When I come to Bournemouth I try and get at the Chelsea Hotel. The owner is polite and very welcoming, the staff is polite and the rooms are very clean. I would highly recommend and well worth the money.

After booking a twin room and making a mistake in selecting 1 person, myself and my colleague turned up to be given a double bed to share. The hotel was advertised with adequate parking but was told after payment was taken that we have to drive around the street to find space. The lady that greeted us was one of the most vile hostile ill mannered people I have ever met. Whilst driving around the street the hotel was located on we were approached by two ladies of the night offering services, after numerous laps around the small streets in the vicinity we noticed several of these ladies offering the same business. This place needs to be avoided at all costs. Very disappointed after a long day in work.! AVOID AVOID AVOID!
