Dire — No where to park (although there was a single car parking space with a cone on it) so forced to park in NCP for £8 per 24 hours 1/4 mi away — Bargain (! ) Duvet has been washed to death and has tears in it, mattress is cheap and nasty. An average size couple will feel the divan all night long. The fitted sheet doesn't fit, but it is on two single beds put together. (we were later shouted at (not told) by a jumped up rat that that WAS a double bed). The room is dressed to be charitable, sparsely. The shower has some dirty marks in the tray and on and between the tiles. It cost £43 a night, so save yourself a headache and find an Air BnB place for a few quid more or LESS. Turns out you can also pay £19pppn (Bargain! ) as usually it's £63 a night on a certain Third Party site. Post Script: After we left the hotel a day early, the nasty owner tried to claim he had the Police looking through the CCTV of our leaving that day as I had been "violent and threatening". Further he claimed if I did not return to the hotel, "a warrant for my arrest would be issued by Bournemouth Police" What this stupid man didn't realise, that it was clear he wanted to continue a confrontation, inflame the situation and potentially, based on other guests TripAdvisor Reviews, threaten violence to the person or property. I have now reported "Nick" the manager/owner/scumbag to Dorset Police, who advised us to "block his mobile, and give him a One Star Review on TripAdvisor'. He also suggested I had a case for litigation, should we wish to. I'll just leave that out there if "Nick" or whatever he calls himself is reading this. Quite sinisterly, "Nick" asked my partner before he was blocked what our address was (as we booked safely, via a Third Part site). We will be contacting the Third Party site to have the hotel "group" blacklisted, the Credit Card Company to block payment, and am just waiting for Bournemouth Council and Bournemouth Tourism, each to whom I have made a complaint. Trading Standards next stop, and I hope to have this vile creature and his vile hotel shut down.
