Lovely place to stay, very welcoming owners, room was clean and comfy, breakfast excellent! Thank you for making us feel so welcomed! Definitely best guest house we stayed in!

This is our 6th visit to the Norwood. Absolutely love it. You cannot better their attitude to customer service. Breakfast is fabulous. Wonderful place to stay.

Easily the best stay I've ever had in torque and I visit every year for family. Dog friendly and the people are 2nd to none in timing and friendliness. Ajax my dog gives them a paws up as well.

Fab stay at the Norwood very friendly couldn't do enough for us food was lovely rooms were spotless would definitely stay there again just got back after a five day stay I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely hotel, very friendly family owners who made us feel very welcome. Made a fuss of the dog and left treats for her each day and even gave her a sausage for breakfast. Clean and comfy rooms and yummy breakfast we will definitely be going back!

Well where do you start.? Probably the best "guest house" on the riviera! Nothing is too much trouble. We were made so welcome it's hard for us to pack up and go home. The staff are a fantastic team… perfect quality breakfast and plenty of it. Comfy beds and rooms. I doubt we could have found better. Well done Veronica, Mary and Tom. Easter 2018. (Willows)

I am currently staying at this BnB and I can't rate it high enough. I was met with a lovely smile and a very accomodating welcome. A tea and chocolate bar… And a treat for my dog. Clear information was enthusiastically given on places to eat and so on. May I also note I am the only person in the entire place currently. All of breakfast has been laid out for me… And my dog… who is getting a sausage. I will be staying here everytime I come down. Did I mention it's also insanely cheap for the quality of service and room quality. Amazing.

Fine hotel with very lovely owners. Rooms are small and comfortable. You'll find anything you need. Showers were new, tidy and water was warm instantly. Breakfast was very well, Wi-Fi worked. For the Germans as we are: Don't expect German 4-star Hotel standards and you're fine. ;)

Absolutely wonderful time we had, hosts Veronica, Tom and Mary are delightful nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was delicious even offered you extra items. Tea and coffee in rooms was the best we had. My wife suffered a migraine while there and they went way and beyond to make sure she was ok.

An absolutely lovely place to stay and family ran Guest house. The breakfast is amazing from the fresh fruit and yogurt and cereal yes you can have ALL 3 above but you also get a menu for hot breakfast from beans on toast to salmon and never ending toast and tea/coffee and a weather forecast on each breakfast table every day. The rooms all have ensuite with tea and coffee making facilities and a different bar of chocolate every day, this is by far the BEST Guest house in Torquay and in the whole UK.

I don't think I've ever stayed in a friendlier warmer and pleasant place in my entire life. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out we were looked after as if we were family. The most helpful staff, delicious breakfast (even a free sausage for the dog at breakfast). Their hospitality and kindness is just second to none. This hotel comes highly recommended and there is nothing at fault. It's clean, the rooms are comfortable and the location is great. Thank you for a great stay. We will be sure to stay here again if we ever come back.

Our stay in Torquay was made all the more pleasurable by the homely hospitality of Veronica, Tom and Mary, the proprietors of the Norwood. We enjoyed complimentary tea/coffee on arrival, spotlessly clean linen and towels in a lovely room equipped with all one needs. Ensuite with a wonderful shower and complimentary toiletries, television, hairdryer, ironing board, tea/coffee making facilities! An excellent and beautifully presented breakfast was enjoyed in the cosy atmosphere of the dining room. We certainly look forward to repeating our experiences of the friendly, hospitality of all at the Norwood whenever we return to Torquay. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Highly recommended. Great place, lovely room, excellent food very friendly, welcoming hosts, would recommend it without hesitation.

Myself & friends stayed here this weekend. Although we were early they were very happy for us to book in. Very welcoming & offered us all a drink. Our rooms were lovely & clean. Lots of tea & coffee on offer. When arriving back to our rooms late afternoon to get ready for our night out we had chunky KitKats left for us all. What a lovely touch. Rooms warm, beds comfortable & had a great nights sleep.
Breakfast was perfect. Lots to choose from and was all lovely.
Would definitely recommend The Norwood. Lovely people & great value for money. Will look forward to staying here when we decide to visit Torquay again. Many Thanks to you.

The cosiest of places with warmest of welcomes. Very well located in heart of Torquay, immaculately clean and tidy. Breakfast made to order and simply perfect. Very helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed there Saturday night and it was fantastic the lady who runs it as great banter and cooks a marvellous breakfast plus rooms and beds very comfortable.

What an absolutely fantastic place to stay we had an issue as soon as we arrived and nothing was too much trouble and it has remained this way all week x we have two border collies who have been treated as members of the family all week being greeted with treats left every day ❤ Food is amazing, as are veronica, Mary and Tom. We have had a fantastic time away and they have made it even better. Thank you Norwood you will most definitely be seeing us again.

We stayed at norwood hotel in Torquay it's beautiful friendly food is fantastic there is so much on offer for breakfast from cereal to full English to smoked haddock to fresh fruit etc etc it's a fantastic place to stay fresh towels every day etc renal unit was ok individual rooms but still prefer my home with my family unit jph never mind thank you everybody for wishing Lisa and I a happy anniversary it's nice too know you all still remembered and last of all a huge thank you too my beautiful wife Lisa for every thing she does for me and looks after me I love you more and more each day babe love teresaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx a kiss for every year we've been together.

What a lovely Guesthouse, nothing is too much trouble for any of the ladies or gent that run it, it is family run, the room we stayed in was very nicely decorated, breakfast was gorgeous.

We took our 5yr old Granddaughter here for a couple of days. The owners were welcoming & gave us drinks on arrival, they also gave us lots of ideas of things to do when it rained. The room was clean, though it was on the 4th floor so if you can't do stairs tell them in advance. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of fruit, cereals, & a full English on top. Our Granddaughter was catered for as they would mix & match to her taste. Easy walking distance to the beach. It is great value for not a lot of money.

Would definitely return very accommodating and friendly owners. Nothing too much trouble. Good location too, lovely breakfast and plenty of choice.
