Staff really friendly upon arrival, food was served promptly and was amazing, live music was great, booked another meal hope to hear them singing then.

Made my first visit today and will not be the last. Food was really good, the sausage rolls were so good and so much of them. Very friendly staff on the counter too. Such a beautiful location too.

Absolutely wonderful cafe. Came in for Brunch with my enabler and my dog and all the staff are so bubbly and cheerful. The food is absolutely delicious too! My dog thinks the treats are quite nice too.

The room is spacious and spotlessly clean. The shower ànd bath facilities are also clean and almost look newly fitted. The staff are all very friendly and always happy to help and answer questions. The cuisine is also very nice as is the service. Great place to stay with fantatsic views of the beach and coastline.

OMG this place has not been done up since the 60s decor terrible rooms well thats another story delapidated to say the least. Cannot believe Caledonian Travel are sending their customers to this run down hotel. Even the coach driver could not believe this place. Please thing twice before selecting this hotel. We had long weekend stay here last weekend, the staff couldn't do enough they were all very friendly. Room cleaned daily and the food was good.

Completely refurbished modern and comfortable small hotel. 10 rooms I believe including family room. Very clean. Has it's own restaurant. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Looking for a relaxing atmosphere set within a beautiful and spacious place to have a family meal? Then look no further than the Babbacombe Bay Hotel and Cafe where I enjoyed the most delicious afternoon tea I have ever had and I have had a fair few in my time! The staff were friendly and the service was excellent, the food was delicious, fresh and value for money. I highly recommend a visit.

Outstanding just had a wedding here wonderful hard working staff made it special. Food amazing the best breakfast. Marian the manager made an excellent job of making the day run so smoothly. Views from hotel Wonderful definitely coming back here.

Cafe used to be a great place for an afternoon treat, but they’ve obviously been trying to make savings & we won’t be going there again. The 3 tier stand now contains bland looking sandwiches filled with mainly cream cheese rather than the brightly colours assorted selection previously. The cherry scones we always have now contain small chopped up pieces of cherry rather than the juicy halves or whole fruits they used to. The jam is a disgusting “value” brand with a jelly like texture, pale colour & only a few pips in it rather than pieces of fruit — it used to be individual jars of Tiptree jam. The top plate used to contain a mousse & 2 petit fours each. They now have the mousse & a couple of chopped strawberries. Really disappointed that they cut the quality of what used to be one of our favourite afternoon teas. Surely it would be better to raise the price slightly & maintin quality especially in an area where they need to keep regular local customers to keep them going over the quieter winter season. Such a shame.

The hotel is amazing they catered for my partner's birthday for example it's her birthday today and I was able to upgrade the room they put rose petals on the bed did a special cream tea. The staff are amazing and the food is amazing. Vicky who looked after us was absolutely brilliant. Will definitely come back again.

Following being snowed in we decided to fine somewhere to have lunch, babbacombe bay hotel was the best choice. The food is great and the service is very impressive. The place was clean and tables were cleared stright away if not while you were still there to give you more room on the table after eating. I will definitely be coming back and recommend this place completely. Best to book a table though to avoid disappointment x.

Can't fault this hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, amazing with us and all other customers. The food in the cafe was scrumptious! Would highly recommend and we will be making the journey from South Wales again to stay here without a doubt!

Very nice, friendly staff, clean and very prompt service, only slight niggle — not enough jam supplied with cream teas, will return though.

Service very slow and not particularly helpful. Kitchen was out of many items, which was understandable after the Christmas break. Ordered crumpets, chased them up 15 minutes after everything else arrived. Took a further 10 minutes and were stone cold. Overall a disappointing visit and we won't hurry back.

5 of us went into cafe had warm homemade mince pies with cream a cookie and slice of cake, plus pots of fresh tea. Excellent value delicious food with very pleasant staff who looked after us very well. Well worth a visit.

We are here for our 10 year wedding anniversary and we love it! The room is beautiful, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is gorgeous! We had our evening meal here last night and it was lush! Breakfast was yum and my brother in law paid for sparkling high tea as a surprise gift that we have just had and oh my word it was yum! Really could not recommend this place enough on all counts. Thank you for making our weekend perfect xxx.

Having a wonderful time at The Babbacombe Bay Hotel. It's the perfect place for a relaxing and romantic getaway in this part of the UK. Location, staff and facilities are top-notch. Breakfast is the best we have had so far on our holiday in the UK. Highly recommended.

Popped in for coffee and a cream scone and delighted with both! Nice quiet atmosphere and efficient and very pleasant service. Great views over Babbacombe Bay from outside the hotel too.

Food r great &the hotel shown brilliant 10/10

The room was breath taking, sea views and a great en suite. Very clean. Restaurant was nice but didn't have all wine on the list and didn't have mint for the mojito, I know this sounds petty but it's quite important in this drink. Staff were very nice and very attentive. No parking available had to park in pay and display behind the hotel.

I bought my mum here for her 50th birthday and we'll what can I say! This HOTEL is superb, we both had a brilliant time, the room was superb only issue was parking, breakfast was literally amazing both days I had something different, and each day the food was like an art exhibition and tasted stunning too. The roof terrace is amazing and the bar is reasonably priced for drinks, lots of places to go for entertainment around and about, I fully recommend staying here and we will be coming back!

Lovely hotel, situated in a prime location with fantastic views. Room was spacious and enough for a family of four to spread out and feel comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served by friendly staff. A great overnight stay!

Lovely guest house! Not a spot of bother, the owners Mark and Tracy were very kind and informative and gave great advice on where and what do in Torquay, the rooms were completely spotless and the breakfast was spot on! I highly recommend this guest house! Great for family holidays! Thanks!

A very high standard hotel, with stunning rooms and the friendliest staff, we upgraded to the Devonshire suite as it was available, the best hotel we have stayed in on the southwest coast we wil be staying again and recommending all our friends, keep up the good work.

I have just stayed at the Babbacombe hotel, and have to say that it was an absolute pleasure to stay in. The rooms were of a very high standard and very comfortable and accomodating. I will definately be staying their again. I would recomend this hotel to everyone. An absolute pleasure.
