Good entertainment, friendly bar staff.

First time visit today but very impressed with their professional people and the entire experience so far.

Hotel room was lovely and so are all the staff. Good customer service all round. Room lovely and clean too.

Very good atmosphere friendly staff carnt do enough for you.

This was my 5th visit to this hotel over a number of years and I picked the holiday because of the hotel staff are friendly helpful meals are very good entertainment was first class plus well situated.

Stayed here for 4 days in one of the premium rooms had loads of space really beautiful views Across the Sea.
staff were in the bar and restaurant were so helpfully and friendly. Would love to come back x.

Absolutely stunning hotel, spacious rooms and comfortable beds.
The food is delicious and the table service is excellent.
Parking is on site, there’s a lovely sun terrace and an indoor pool.
I honestly cannot recommend it enough.

Just come back from 5 day break with Robinsons coaches. The entertainment was very good. With someone different every night. Hotel is very well run with Barry and Heidi. They like to please holiday makers. Hotel is more for the mature folk. Even though was couple's in with young family. Food very traditional. Its in a nice quite street. Scarborough Road. Torquay. Handy for walking into Torquay. Or there bus stops at the end of the street.

Used to be good. Had better food. Hard working staff. Needs a face lift.

In need of updating throughout the hotel however I had a great value stay in an average room. English break fast precooked but hot and enough. Staff very pleasant. Good location.

Good place to chill out trips are going selections staff coach driver great fun the meals are average great entertainment though go again definitely.

Nice hotel needs a little updating i. E. Mattresses.

We had a lovely time at The Abbey Lawn. Can't fault it in any way at all. We were staying in a twin room as I was travelling with my father (looking to purchase a property together). The room had a spectacular sea view and a big plus was that we were directly over the bar/foyer which meant that we had good Wi-Fi in the room (the hotel advertises that it only has Wi-Fi in the public areas — which we knew about) so that was a big tick. The room was huge and very clean. We had a shower en-suite that had excellent pressure. We were booked in with breakfasts and an evening meal both of which were faultless. We ordered dinner in the morning (three courses) during breakfast as they put out the menu on the tables. A really efficient way to serve we thought. The staff were lovely and the bar prices were not silly figures and we had secured parking for the whole time we were there. Value for money? Exceptional! I don't know how they do it. We would happily stay again if needed and recommend it to others. I can't comment on the evening entertainment as we were both early sleepers (very quiet room), early risers. So this 30 something, and my father, 50 something give this place a big thumbs up.

The hotel exceeded our expectations when we arrived on Monday 21st August 2017. Loved it here so much, that we've booked to come back for our honeymoon, from Monday 8th October 2018, as newlyweds Mr & Mrs Withers. Heidi & Barry were most welcoming. Food, drink and facilities 5*.

Just returned from Xmas holiday absolutely brilliant time Barry and Heidi couldn't do anymore for us great hosts Robinson's holidays are great as well from leaving home to the return no faults at all have already booked for next year with a few more inbetween.

Lovely place, great staff and food and not too far from everything.

I had a twin en suite room with sea view, large old building within walking distance to the beach. Friendly owner & staff. Breakfast was good.

Skip. The hotel is very old and no maintenance was done in ages. All doors and every inch of floor was creaking.

Only here for a weekend but nice, good choice of food which was mostly ok, 3 courses and nice restaurant with waiter service, room cleaning and entertainment. We struggled to find where other pubs or entertainment was in the area, the hotel had no leaflets or info, just offered a printed sheet with a small street map on.

Nice place fine serving. The rooms a bit outdater but good overall. Awsome pool.

We just returned from here after 8 days and had a lovely holiday. The Hotel was very good very clean Food very good Staff very friendly. But! we did find that our room on the third floor was rather hot at night if it had been a hot day, therefore we were not able to sleep very uncomfortable, it was a general topic with the people on the third floor. I did however report this to reception, but told by the person in charge {Manager} there was nothing she could do about it in a rather offhand manner. Our Tour driver Allan was excellent.

It was a delight to meet some of the guests and, as always, Barry and Heidi were kindness itself! A top hotel with people who go out of their way to help and support the local community!

Pleasant stay. Room was clean and offered good value for money with evening meal and breakfast being provided.

Abbey lawn is a fantastic hotel the staff are absolutely brilliant we've booked 4 holidays for this year because we love the abbey lawn hotel that much.

Our experiance at abby lawn was outstanding all ready book for the forth time.
