We stayed for a couple nights it has a nice bar. It has a swimming pool although we didn't get to use it. We had a 2 bedroom I would say small house with plenty of room for 6 as we had large sofa bed in the lounge. Price wasn't to bad and would definitely stay there again and use as a base to explore the area of devon.

Standards are dropping, bar and restaurant food now same, nice but nothing to get excited about. Generally staff are polite however reception has a couple of young very rude female members.

Woodford bridge country club is a brilliant they sent me a birthday card for my birthday amazing and lovely and free 24 hour movie renting a bar a swimming pool and a restaurant beautiful flats/bunglos.

We have been to Woodford Bridge to spend a weekend followed by a bank holiday, everything was just perfect, the accommodation is very nice, the food is also good, however, the best asset they have is the staff, all very helpful and polite. 100% customer service trained. We are going back for sure.

Love it here, 4th year here and booked in for next year too. You definitely need a car, as it is not in a popular area, but that's why e love it. Accommodation it top rate as well as the leisure area.

Great Place. We took a self catering house for a 2 day stopover on our way from Ireland to Spain by Ferry. Very well prepared. They thought of everything. Easy with kids.

We used timeshare points to stay and it was totally worth it. The unit was clean and updated. We had plenty of space for a family of 4. I do wish that the leisure centre opened earlier though. If you want to maximize your time in the area there isn't time to get a workout in, shower and arrive at your destination by typical opening times of attractions.

Set in the country side this establishment is defo a home away from home. The pub is cosy. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment it had all the utensils you need. The reception also delivers groceries. Brilliant.

Peaceful rural setting. Peacocks roaming freely. Accommodation consisting of 2 bed dwellings very nicely maintained.

Very friendly staff, clean warm accomodation, with a beautiful swimming pool complete with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Very relaxing enjoyable holiday.

Great location, friendly attentive staff, good prices, hot tasty huge full English breakfast will last you till tea time. Beth who served us was very friendly and helpful and chatted with my wife for ages. No free internet but not too expensive.

Fun manager and pleasant staff. Rooms in hotel are nice, chalets also ok. Very clean and well presented. Late deals make this 5 star value.

Although the accommodation was excellent there were some things that just didn't work for me. The location means that to do anything you need to drive. The site has additional charges for use of the sports facilities and more annoyingly for Wi-Fi. Strange that, in this day and age you have to pay extra for this.

Accommodation here is first class, staff are very helpful and friendly. Nice bar for a quiet early drink, later entertainment is held here. On-site restaurant is very good with a nice varied menu for all taste. Recommend you make a reservation. You do require a car if you stay here.

Lovely chalet/rooms. Food is lovely and pub is very homely. It is in the middle of nowhere and very hilly to get to rooms so no good if you don't like travelling! And the odd visit from a peacock or duck! Swimming pool is nice and never really that busy. Didn't get to sample to jacuzzi as it seemed to be broken or full every time I went to go in it!

More like a quaint country village. A group of mix match ducks came to see us everyday plus peacocks, very entertaining and full of character. Accomadation very comfortable parking is a slight problem only 1 car per house but extra parking up top near reception. Restaurant very good. Swimmi g pool sauna etc, was great. In the countryside but easy to get to other locations. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very nice hotel These are not rooms but small apartments with bathroom, small kitchen and small living room. For the price nothing to say it's perfect!

Really lovely site. Almost like it's own little village. Very well priced and very clean. Will definitely be staying again.

Nice meal, and good leisure facilities. We visit here regularly and always have a good time. Staff are friendly and efficient and the food is very nice and reasonably priced.

Totally unexpected but the apartment is a real home from home with every mod-con that could be needed. Warm and relaxing. Restaurant served up a lovely evening meal and we plan to use the leisure facilities this morning. Looking forward to another night tonight. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely quiet rural setting with nearby beaches & towns. Hotel is bang on quiet and relaxing. Accommodations are clean & tidy with everything you need! Pool & facilities to a good standard clean & accessible. Bar & restaurant on site also reasonably priced.

Amazing place in the middle of devon. Spotless hotel and very clean and generously sized living accommodation. The peacock visiting us on the patio in the morning was amazing. Try and book for a meal at the restaurant early as you might have to wait for a table but the food is worth it. The leisure club is again very clean. These people take cleanliness to a all different level! So also the cheerfulness of the staff is very infectious.

Really nice self-contained apartments in stunning location. All rooms spotlessley clean and well furnished. All mod cons too. Food 8n the on-site restaurant excellent and staff couldn't be more friendly. There are ducks and peacocks roaming the place as well which adds a bit of extra interest for visitors. Highly recommended.

Stayed in a lovely apartment, quiet place and good for kids. Good pool and spa area. Typical holiday family entertainment — bingo, karaoke, disco. Friendly, accommodating staff. Need a car really to stay here as not too much close by. Nice small farm and farm shop about a mile away.

Great stay here, comfortable, quiet and you get a beautiful view into the woodlands. Downsides: got supplied no extra sugar for a 5-day stay, no extra dishwasher tablets (I had to call reception to request more) and the hand towels were not replaced also had to call reception so other staff could replace them. That was all from the housekeeping. Swimming was great as well.

We've stayed at Woodford Bridge twice. During this most recent stay I proposed to my girlfriend. The staff were incredible in helping me organise it and are all incredibly friendly. The service is excellent, the accommodation is very nice and very clean. The restaurant staff are also fantastic, their help was invaluable, and the food is top notch. A fantastic place to stay and plenty to do in the surrounding area.

Great place to stay, with fab facilities on site. Including squash, table tennis, swimming, a gym, spa centre and more. Lovely surrounding area, and the staff are happy to help with suggestions for day trips etc.

Area is beautiful. Staff is kind and helpful. Is a nice place for a quiet getaway.

These people have no idea of what they're doing… we asked to have dinner as we arrived, the receptionist told us there was no problem but then the staff in the restaurant told us here were no tables left (with half he restaurant empty). At that point another waiter got us a table. Our apartment had a sofa-bed with the worst mattress ever, my back is still aching.

All the staff at Woodford Bridge country club were fantastic. Food was delicious and well presented and the evening entertainment was spot on. The housekeeping staff were always pleasant and helpful, would definitely come again.

We stayed in a lodge, which was very well appointed. Lots of space, nice sized rooms and really felt like staying in a house as opposed to a lodge at a country club. Facilities were excellent; bar, restaurant, fitness suite and very nice grounds. We ordered from the on site take away which was very good value. Overall we thought that this place is great for a family break away. The only thing that could have been better was the amount of time it took to prepare the lodge for our arrival. But otherwise this was a good stay.

Absolutely fantastic! It's the best place we've stayed at by far. The house was spotless, the peacocks walking around everywhere were simply stunning. The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were recently fitted so it all felt very modern yet cosy. Really glad we've picked this place to stay at. The staff are super friendly and there are many activities to do on site.

It is set in beautiful countryside and all apartments are very clean with all amenities required. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There are lots of things to do in the area too. A very enjoyable holiday.

Had an amazing meal here passing through, and have eaten here while on holiday before. Service and food have always been fantastic and were again last week. Really recommend this for a meal or a stay.

Only short stay, however very polite, apartment very tidy & good value for money, did not eat here, but the food looked good. Bar very cozy. Would come back.

Lovely accommodation and friendly staff. Only regret is we arrived too late to use the leisure facilities and had to be away in the morning. Recommended.

Tricky to get to if you're used to city driving. But otherwise once you're there great compound and layout of site. Rooms are lovely and kitted with all the little things you generally forget to bring. All complimentary too. Service was excellent too. Always on hand whenever you needed.

Terrible customer service — problem with initial booking STILL going on a month after our stay. Very poor management situation with no clear line of responsibility between Diamond Resort Group and the Hotel which makes service IMPERSONAL at best and UNPROFESSIONAL at worst. A long way out and pretty enough, but there are much better value and beautifully located hotels in Instow and Bideford. I certainly would NOT stay at another Diamond resort — and from reviews I've read, this is one of the better ones, so beware!

Perfect, nice, clean and spacious! supplied all cooking utensils needed aswel as products for washing up.

I thought it was really good, accommodation was great, service was excellent in the Restaurant, pool was lovely. Great place to stay and explore surrounding countryside and beaches.

Rrstaurant has a small menue service was a bit slow.

It's 3 stars, but an extra for the cheap room (£25 on a Saturday night in January through LateRooms). Remote countryside location. We stayed in a "suite" room; nicely decorated, spacious bathroom, large shared sun balcony. Good pool/spa facilities. Friendly staff. Reasonable bar (with real ale). Resturant is not better than avereage pub food but to be fair is priced the same. Cost £85 for dinner, bed and breakfast for two.

Was a great place to go for my family holiday! Staff are very friendy and entertainment was great.
