An outstanding B&B with superb hosts outstanding facilities and a great location.
From the easy booking process, prompt communication to warm welcome on arrival, I knew we were in for a good stay.
Little did I know that the bed was so comfortable, sheets immaculately pressed and superb quality towels and electric shower which sparkles every morning!
The provision of fresh biscuits in a jar in your room fresh milk available on request outstanding choice of breakfast presented so nicely … what more could you want?
The rooms are comfortable and quiet and well placed for visits to Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall and other local attractions.
Michael was excellent host & chef and provided recommendations for eating out on Friday evening & Sunday lunch as well as offering discounted tickets to Chatsworth House Haddon Hall and Heights of Abraham.
We will definitely stay here again and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in a superb B&B.

Visited with a friend and took the opportunity to visit Chatswoth House. Michael and Paddy were excellent hosts, warm and welcoming. Delete House was comfortable and beautifully presented. A great stay with a first-class breakfast. We'll be back thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at Deeley House. A very warm welcome from Michael and Paddy and their attention for detail is amazing. The beds are so comfortable and rooms spotless. The brekfast is absolutely delicious and the location of Deeley House is brilliant. We will be back!

Another wonderful few days spent at this gem of a bed and breakfast! Deeley House is a beautiful place to stay, rooms tastefully decorated and some real lovely touches. The beds are the comfiest you will probably ever sleep in! Especially nice after a day of visiting local attractions Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and Matlock Bath which are all close by. Michael is so helpful, each time we have stayed he has gone out of his way to recommend good walks of varying distance, with nice places to eat on route! The heights of Abraham is a must visit to appreciate the fantastic scenery. Finally, breakfast… a varied choice, full English with vegetarian and vegan options, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, porridge with delicious compote, and local Derbyshire oatcakes, All prepared while enjoying cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast, juices, coffee and tea. Just a really lovely place to stay, in beautiful countryside. Looking forward to our next stay in a few months.

Great place! The cook at this place is so nice. And the rooms are very nice and quiet for a better sleep. I enjoyed a good night rest.

Fabulous stay at Deeley House B&B! Every attention to detail; top quality fixtures, fittings and soft furnishings, comfy beds, spotlessly clean and an extensive range of breakfast choices to set you up for the day. Lots to see and do in the area, near Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, scenic walks etc. Superb hosts, Michael and Patrick, where nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, excellent value for money, we will be back! Thank you.

Second visit this year. This time we took our Canadian cousin with us who was totally enthralled by the whole experience. Michael and Patrick are such great hosts, nothing too much trouble. Every room is a joy and we noticed the changes made since last time.

Beautiful bed and breakfast, close to Chatsworth, Bakewell, Matlock and surrounded by gorgeous countryside.
I would highly recommend Deeley house as a place to stay, it is tastefully decorated throughout, and attention to detail is second to none, clean fresh bed linen and soft white towels, well stocked coffee and tea making facilities with fresh milk on request.
Michael goes out of his way to make your stay at Deeley enjoyable, two nights are not enough to sample all the lovely breakfast choices. Will definately return.

Wow! What a gem Deeley House is! My husband and I have just spent three nights in absolute luxury! Our room was spotlessly clean, well appointed, and the bed was the most comfortable I think I have ever slept in! I loved the complimentary mini sweet bag with the tea and coffee tray, and the lovely biscuits. There was an excellent choice for breakfast, and everything tasted delicious and was very fresh. The whole house has been beautifully renovated, and the story of its history really adds to its charm. Michael and Paddy were so friendly and welcoming, and recommended some great places to eat and drink; top tips were the Monk Bar for cocktails in Matlock, and The Shalimar Indian restaurant, just a few minutes walk down the road. This was a great base for our three day walking holiday, during which we explored Curbar and Froggett Edge, The Roaches and Lud's Church, and Chatsworth Estate and Bakewell. We can't rave enough about Deeley House… book while you can, people! (But not in October, please, because we want to get first dibs on a return visit! )

A fantastic B&B. The rooms are lovely, decorated with absolute taste. The breakfasts are brilliant. It feels like you're staying in an amazing boutique hotel, rather than a B&B.
