Had a wonderful weekend at Losehill Hotel and Spa. Everything was perfect — the food, service and location. A great team who effortlessly make you feel welcome and special.

The only negative part of the day is that fact it’s a real pain to find with virtually no roadside guidance or signs.

Lovely to be back at Losehill Hotel this weekend. Excellent service as always. A special thank you to Joel & the Chef for sorting out my food with my allergies. Really wonderful that the meals were adapted for me. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing break at the foot of Losehill. Scenery is stunning.

My husband and myself had a great meal here Friday night, the food is 1st class, extremely tasty and creative. The staff are extremely friendly and can’t do enough for you.

Losehill is such a beautiful place, me & my mum have had a gorgeous spa day. From the moment we arrived we could not fault a thing. The spa area is a perfect size, with a hot tub looking over the fields. The treatments we’re very relaxing & the food was out of this world. I would definitely recommend visiting this hotel. The perfect escape located in the countryside. Thank you to the Spa Manager Alex for making us feel so welcome during our visit. We look forward to our next spa experience.

Amazing place, hot tub outside over looking some amazing views, the indoor pool is quite small though, however the hot tub and treatments are amazing, will definitely recommend and go back.

I was very impressed with Losehill House Hotel & Spa. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. Thank you Elise for fitting us in at short notice, my mum had a wonderful spa birthday and she got to experience a hot tub for the first time ever. The pool was a good temperature and we thoroughly enjoyed our head, neck and shoulder massage treatments. The Spa is in a perfect secluded location so it’s not packed out like ones you’d find in the city. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing countryside retreat that’s suitable all year round.

Me and my boyfriend have recently had a lovely 2 night stay at Losehill House Hotel and Spa. Room was lovely and spacious, food was amazing and staff were very friendly. The hot tub and swimming pool were also very relaxing. Would definitely stay again:)

26.8.18 We arrived on a cold, grey day to a cold, grey room. No heating on, with stained and shabby furniture Room No. 2 provided no welcome at all. Windows needed a good clean too. At £186 per night, we'd expected better. A 10% discount did not compensate for our disappointment. On a more positive note, the location was beautiful, staff excellent and breakfast delicious.

Just returned from a 2 night stay, very clean and cosy room. Enjoyed a 3 course meal the first night and the seven course taster menu on the 2nd, both of which where cooked and presented perfectly. I would highly recommend the wine flight package that accompanies the 7 course menu. Service isn't the quickest so be prepared to wait you won't be disappointed. Beautiful location with a laid back ambiance.

Great location. Excellent food. The spa facilities are OK with a VERY small steam room. Great as a base for walking around the Dark Peak area.

Situated in the heart of the Peak District this idyllic hotel and spa provides a fantastic getaway. Our suite was clean and tidy with a superb bathroom, the overall hotel decor is of an extremely high standard. There are plenty of staff that are smiling and welcoming, always on hand to assist. The food was locally sourced and was divine, a real experience not to be missed. I have no doubt that we will return for another break next year.

Lovely venue for a wedding that we went to. Food was very nice. Drinks were not as expensive as some places, which was a nice change. Zoltan the bar waiter was lovely very pleasant remembered what you was drinking and had a lovely Smile.

We have just returned from a one night stay at this beautiful place. One word says it all (OUTSTANDING) in all areas, our room, our spa treatments, our 3 course evening meal, breakfast, all the staff. We felt truly spoiled, made to feel special welcome and a valued customer.

Lovely day spent here, weather glorious so could fully appreciate the outside facilities with a stunning view. Spa with outside hot tub were very nice though small. Cream tea was delicious and without fault served in a beautiful restaurant with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic location. Very restful and relaxed with friendly staff and good views. The ensuite bathrooms have baths so this is great for relaxing in after a long walk.

Went for a spa day. Very relaxing. Helped that it was a sunny day to make use of the outdoor facilities. Thoroughly enjoyable!

I got married at Losehill House Hotel & Spa at the weekend (05/05/2018). The staff were absolutely amazing and being fortunate with the weather, we could not have asked for a more beautiful place to spend our special day. This place will always hold a place in our hearts.

Lovely hotel in a great setting. Rooms clean and comfortable. Food was good but service was a little slow. Spa is nice but small and felt over crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Surrounding area is lovely with good walks for all abilities.

We have just come back from a one night stay at losehill hotel and we had such a lovely time. The hotel is set in such a beautiful area, the views were lovely.
When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly lady in reception called Mandy who was really welcoming and gave us all the information we required for our stay. The room was lovely, spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. A travel cot for our 9 month old baby had also been put up ready which was a big help. We used the pool which was nice and quiet, and again really clean, my only comment would be there wasn’t really an area to get baby changed, but we managed and he also had a great time in the pool! Dinner and breakfast was great, food was delicious, service was very professional and all the restaurant staff we smiley and friendly which was really nice. Had a great nights sleep, even baby did! I would highly recommend this hotel, we will definitly be returning. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We had our wedding at Losehill and I can honestly say everything ran like absolute clockwork. Not one hitch on the day. Jules was really accommodating throughout the whole process, and I’m a very high maintenance Bride haha. Everything was exactly like I planned and envisaged for my wedding day. The main reasons we chose Losehill for our wedding were the surroundings which are beautiful, the fact you can have exclusive use (no sharing your limelight with another Bride! ) and t…he food. We wanted more than your typical wedding meal and that’s exactly what we got. Food served by table so no guest left eating whilst another at the same table waits, served hot, and presented beautifully. It certainly impressed! Also need to mention Amanda and the owner Paul who oversaw everything on the day and paid real attention to detail. Empty bottle of wine on the table, instantly replaced, water topped up. Plates cleared quickly. The service was brilliant. Even when we came down for breakfast the next day, they kept a list of guests who had yet to surface (nursing hangovers! ) and were more than happy to accommodate requests for extra toast / juice / tea & coffee. If you have high standards and want a venue to match then Losehill is the place for you.

It's a fabulous place to stay rooms are really comfortable. Staff are very attentive and food is very good. Would certainly stay again. Fabulous views.

Treated my partner for his 30th here, stone's throw from Sheffield. Lovely views from the bedroom, I would recommend requesting a room on top floor for the best views. Used the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, all clean, we very much enjoyed. The food was spectacular, exceeded my expectations seeing as we got a package deal I thought the food wouldnt be too great but it was very tasty. Breakfast was even better, fresh pastries and a full English with fresh juice, what more can you ask for. Very much recommend!

Had a great afternoon here. Started with a massage, then lunch, which was the best Sunday roast dinner I've ever had! Then swam in the pool and sat in the hot tub for a while.

We got a deal to go and I’m so glad we did! What a wonderful place. The rooms we well maintained and cosy. The food was just excellent and the spa was just what we needed relaxing and soothing. Served by lauren who was just brilliant! The icing on the cake was the hot tub! Brilliant view and so peaceful. Would recommend.

Location is very remote but the views are amazing. The spa is great and the treatments are worth every penny. Would defo recommend.

Beautiful location, decent facilities and excellent food on their taster menu (went on valentines day) spa services last over an hour each and are very relaxing.

Staff in both the treatment area and the Restaurant were wonderful. This was a birthday break for me for 1 night with my daughter. If I was rating just the Restaurant I would give it 5 stars. The countryside around the hotel was delightful and would have been even nicer if the weather would have been walmer.

Just spent the weekend at this wonderful tranquil hotel — it must be the best kept secret in Derbyshire! Immaculately clean and very comfortable. The food was outstanding — we enjoyed the 7 course taster menu with wine flight which was perfectly matched, afternoon tea and Sunday lunch. All served hot and with beautiful presentation. The spa is cosy and the outside jacuzzi hot tub very relaxing. Our treatments were excellent. Our Saturday evening was accompanied by a piano player which enhanced the atmosphere beautifully. The staff were most attentive. A fabulous place. We will be back!

Accommodation and food was outstanding! We were there for a wedding which went very well! 2 problems, 1 member of staff on reception was exceptionally rude when we arrived and no beans at breakfast! Otherwise brilliant!

We have been to Losehill House Hotel twice and are booked in for our third visit. Simply put the food, room and especially the staff are just wonderful. It is a little bit of peace and tranquility in an otherwise busy world, perfect.

We had a wonderful cream tea. We enjoyed every bite and every minute we spent in this beautiful hotel.

Cosy beďrooms, very pleasant eating rooms, but above all lovely staff. Food tasty, and very well presented, but sadly lacking in vegetables! Location quiet with beautiful autumn colours. Wonderful place to be with our friends. Spa an added bonus.

This was our second visit to losehill house. We absolutely loved it both times. The rooms are immaculate and the food absolutely fantastic. We have tried both the 3 course and 7 course tasting menu, they were both delicious. The staff were all excellent and really sorted us out when my wife was taken ill during our first visit and we had to reschedule once we had already arrived. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Excellent location with stunning surroundings. Room is very big and spacious. Service at breakfast is extremely slow. They do order breakfast instead of buffet and we sat down for 5 mins the lady seem ignore us and only gave us menu since I asked. And then another 5 minutes getting ignore before we were asked for some drinks. I said we ready to order but she seems still ignore us! It's 7:45 am and only 1 table for 1, 1 table for 2 and our table. They have a great location but service at breakfast really let us down!

Quiet spa retreat tucked away in the Derbyshire hills, excellent food, great staff at the hotel and spa, pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Comfortable rooms and it's so quiet, the odd sheep bleeting in the adjoining fields are all you hear. Scenic location with walks to Mam Tor and surrounding hills at your doorstep.

My two preteens (11 & 10) and I can not recommend this place enough. The location is beautiful, rooms were clean and fresh. Facilities just what we needed and staff faultless and very helpful. My daughter was very impressed that they cared as much about her and her brother as they did about the adults. Food was AMAZING and they tried very well to cater for children. Apparently the hot chocolates are the best in the world. I wouldn't take my children who like to "explore" the dinning room/restaurant when out as it is a place to feel relaxed for yourself and others. We will definitely be returning.

Stayed for the overnight 7 course taster menu. Great location, fantastic food, wonderful view and great room. Leisure facilities can be crowded and a few more pegs poolside would help to stop leave the two loungers and chairs free. The outdoor hot tub is great. Especially at night!

We came to the hotel just to visit the spa. It was small with a sauna and steam room (that could fit only 2-3 people) and a 10m pool. Outside there was a lovely jacuzzi with a view of surrounding fields. Entrance to the spa was 20quid for 2hours, which was great as we went around early lunchtime and it was very quiet. However, I imagine it would get busy in the evenings when the hotel guests come back. Gown and slippers and towel provided (and shampoo, shower gel and hair dryer in the changing room).

Losehill House Hotel & Spa is located in a beautiful part of the peak district and is just as beautiful inside. All the rooms look spacious and comfy and use of the pool and terrace hot tub is a bonus. We are currently arranging our wedding at Losehill and could not be happier.

Amazing spa, outdoor hot tub and food.

What a disaster don't bother going and wasting your money, have just returned from losehill spa, it was so small you could not even get changed properly with out knocking somebody, the steam room was not working that left the hot tub which was not that hot the sauna and the small pool, not enough room to sit around relax or read a book, then I asked to change my lunch from 1.30 to 12 oc this was not a problem with reception, I went to the restaurant at 12 oc but did not get seated till 12.20 this was making me late as I had a treatment at 12.50 so I had just finished my lunch when Julie the beauty therapist came for me I had no time to relax after lunch due to the restaurant staff not taking my order quick enough, All way through the meal all I could here was cutlery been thrown into a drawer I could not here the back ground music. Thanks to Julie who gave me a fantastic facial and neck massage my day was not totally wasted, I will not be returning to losehill and will not be recommending it to any of my friends.

Absolutely brilliant from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out. The staff were brilliant and food was first class, highly recommend the seven course taster menu. The staff couldn't do enough for us it was a really great two days and we will definitely revist.

Lovely location and nice place. Spa is much smaller than I was expecting. Food good but service a little slow considering how few people were eating. Overall though pretty happy.
