The Old Town Hall is by far the best B and B we have stayed in. The attention to detail and cleanliness is the best. The breakfast is second to none and of great quality! This is truly the best place to relax and recharge your batteries. Covid rules adhered to to the letter… and Louise and David are genuinely fabulous hosts.

Just stayed here for a long weekend and from start to finish the stay was amazing! Louise was so helpful from the moment we arrived, home baked fresh cake upon arrival with a hot drink started the weekend off with a treat. Thoughtful amenities in the room, along with robes, fresh towels and amazing wash products! It really was like home from home! The cooked breakfast was one of the best I have ever had and the freshly baked bread topped it off nicely, I would highly recommend your next stay here, you won’t be disappointed!

Absolutely first class! My husband and I stayed here recently to attend a wedding nearby. We were greeted by Louise, who was warm, friendly, showed us to our beautiful room and had layed out cake upon our arrival. We stayed for 3 nights, breakfast every morning was wonderful, the room was spotless and sumptuous, there was fresh milk in a mini fridge as well as water, and complimentary chocolates. Louise and David both go the extra mile in every detail, from breakfast to the rooms to the gorgeous toiletries, the robes provided in the rooms, and they have the SOFTEST towels I have ever encountered! We loved everything about this B&B and will most definitely be returning!

I cannot fault this beautiful luxury bed and breakfast. The hosts, Louise and David are helpful and friendly without being over intrusive. I felt like nothing would be too much trouble for them but they provide everything you might want so I had no need to test them! The suite we had was gorgeous. Nothing was forgotten, homemade shortbread, fresh milk in the fridge, huge selection of teas and coffees (ethically I didn't like that they had Nescafé but that is one small point), complimentary wine and chocolates, enormous 6 foot sleigh bed with luxurious cotton sheets and soft pillows and duvets. The bathroom is immaculate; large walk-in shower, spa bath and Temple Spa toiletries to wash and luxuriate in. There is cake and tea in the downstairs sitting room and we were encouraged to go back and help ourselves after we had returned from our evening meal at the local pub. Feel free to borrow books or DVDs from the small library on the landing and there are sweets to go with that in case you're feeling peckish. The next morning breakfast was fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and milk, freshly made bread, and a large selection of cooked breakfasts. I had scrambled egg and smoked salmon and my husband had haggis and poached egg but the traditional full English is there for you too and all cooked to order.

Fantastic place, been coming here for 4 years. Louise and David are brilliant hosts, nothing is too much trouble and lots of little luxuries like yummy cakes and fab spa toiletries and drinks in the fridge. Best breakfast in Yorkshire

Quite simply the best bed and breakfast I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. Myself and my wife spend our wedding anniversary here — it's amazing. The attention to detail from the moment you arrive to the time you leave is top class. Louise and David are such great hosts and make a mean breakfast. All fresh locally sourced produce cooked to perfection. Special mention has to go to the freshly baked bread, cake, jams and marmalade on offer, just wow! We will definitely be back — thanks for having us and making us feel like royalty.

This is the best bed and breakfast we have stopped in by far. Every thing was spot on. We would give it 10 star's if we could. Looking forward to coming back already.

What a lovely find, absolutely immaculate and lots of little extras (homemade biscuits and cake free of charge). They really pay attention to detail here, the rooms are lovely with high spec finish and a stocked fridge at no extra charge. The owners were lovely, very friendly and welcoming too. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Beautiful location, excellent food and finishing touches that made us feel really relaxed and indulged.

What an outstanding place! Took my partner here for her 21st birthday, she absolutely adores everything about it. We only stayed for one night but Louise and David went above and beyond to make our stay special. Little did my girlfriend know that I was to propose to her at the local Aysgarth Falls (she said yes). Many thanks for making it amazing for my fiancé Elisha, we will be coming back and staying for a few days in the new year. Regards Liam.
