Had a fantastic three days in Hexham and came here everyday fantastic food cocktails and staff well worth a visit.

I really enjoy the food there — excellent service— highly recommend.

Very nice Sunday lunch very pleasant staff went with my grandson who works in a Michelin star restaurant as trainee chef but often goes to the Beaumont he loves it I think its a bit pricey.

Fantastic weekend using The Beaumont as a base. Room was extremely pleasant with large walk in shower, roll top bath and sitting area. Breakfast was superb and bar stayed open while anyone was drinking. Staff were exceptional, professional and polite. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

If you stayed in this hotel years ago and have not been back — be prepared to be pleasantly surprised. It has had a beautiful transformation.
Decorated beautifully, lovely dining area, great bar and staff and customer service is excellent. Their team are an absolute credit to them.
Breakfast was lovely and lots of choice.
We didn’t eat in the evening as at a wedding elsewhere — but the food coming out to others looked gorgeous

My now husband and I had our wedding breakfast/reception here and it was amazing! Literally can't fault anything. The food was amazing, and the staff were very attentive — nothing was to much trouble! The function room is beautiful along with the bedrooms, we had an amazing view of the Seele and Abbey from our window.
A special thanks to Laura and Kirsty, they are an asset to the team! can't wait to visit again.

Magical! We have just enjoyed our 3rd stay, everything is absolutely perfect, attention to detail is amazing, all staff are so professional and friendly, the food is the best we have had. Always sad to leave but we will back soon.

I dine in the restaurant often and for good reason! The food is consistently delicious with a regularly updated seasonal menu. Fish, meat and vegetarian dishes are always available and are well thought through. The wine list is varied and I've never been disappointed at any price range. Sunday roasts are a must! It is very reasonably priced given the excellent quality too.
The staff are absolute gems, each and every one. Such welcoming smiles and service! It's a pleasure to dine here. We always leave relaxed, satisfied and content! Please keep up the superb work!

Stayed at Beaumont Hotel in Hexham. We had a great room (a suite on 2nd floor). The room was very well furnished and decorated. It was very comfortable. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast in their restaurant, their service and staff were excellent. The food was well prepared and very tasty.
We will come back.

We have stayed at the Beaumont 3 times now and booked our wedding reception on the back of it. We highly recommend it and have not found a single fault on any of our visits. The rooms are fabulous — infact more like a junior suit. The food is fantastic — whether you choose breakfast, lunch, fine dining or afternoon tea. Perfect service, immaculate cleanliness, great cocktail bar. We love it.

If you love good food with exceptional service you need to come here, we have stayed for two nights enjoying a wonderful 3 course evening meal, excellent breakfast and a perfect Sunday lunch… a wonderful stay, we will be back.

Stayed there last night and was very pleased with everything. Loved the large room. And settee and chairs. Very quiet. Clean and pleasant. Good quality accommodation. Central to the Abbey, Queens Hall, Park over the road, in fact all amenities. The concierge worked very hard, and was most helpful, especially when we checked out. Taking cases to the car park, in spite of being very busy running up and downstairs carrying chairs down after our Jacobite Dinner from the next floor last night. All staff pleasant and helpful.

Would stay there anytime… staff are so friendly and welcoming. Best hotel ever.

Super hotel in a central Hexham position over looking the Abbey. Full of character and offering high standards of food, cocktails, service and cleanliness. The staff are very accommodating and the attention to detail is evident throughout.
Fantastic freshly made cooked breakfast too.

Lovely atmosphere and a great location. Thoroughly enjoyed my steak sandwich and pot of tea. I do think it’s presumptuous to add a service charge automatically to the bill however.

4 couples celebrated a friend! s 70th birthday — the staff were incredibly helpful allocating us a table where we requested; they were very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and creative. I would recommend the restaurant for the food, atmosphere and caring staff.

We stayed here for the first time a week ago & would definitely recommend staying here Excellent staff very friendly beds comfy our room was at the back which had a large balcony. Very clean & fresh bedlinen. You can walk into the town from here so no need for taxies.

Didn't eat here, but it looked a popular food destination, they had at the time an unusual Munich beer selection, which I enjoyed drinking, staff could have done with being abit more engaging with the public, but maybe it was a bad for them!

Amazing place run by amazing people. The level of service is amazing only eclipsed by the standard of the food. All this for such a reasonable price meaning it’s a place you can lunch every day. First choice in Hexham and surrounding areas.

An excellent hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. My room was clean and confortable with recently renovated bathroom. The dinners were exceptionally good as well as the breakfast with a great choice of hot dishes. I came for 4 nights in July with a group of French and English ramblers and we all rated the meals as excellent. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant.

Was delightful sitting having a cool drink with the doors open with my daughter and friend. Staff really attentive and friendly. Definitely going back for a meal this time.

Excellent place to stay and take in Hexham. Cannot fault it… pleasant staff, top service, centrally located chic building and pavement cafe style frontage.

Whilst the building is lovely and food is very tasty the portion sizes are tiny. We had to order desert to fill the void the dinner had left and when desert arrived in was basically one strawberry, 2 at a push, sliced with a teaspoon of ice cream. I complained to the waiter and he was rather rude and replied "it's exactly what it says on the menu". It was called strawberries and cream not one. I wouldn't go back until they increase portion sizes or drastically reduce the price and hire some nicer staff.

Fantastic central location. Probably the best bar and restaurant in town. Friendly and welcoming staff and fantastic interiors.

Centrally located. Original English breakfast on order from the waiter or otherwise self-styled at but not very rich müfee.

Superb meal this evening. An impromptu Valentines date with my wife after last minute childcare was secured. Great atmosphere but still a few tables available despite us not having booked. Wonderful food from the excellent value set menu and an interesting and reasonably priced wine. Friendly staff. Highly recommended. Must be one of the best restaurants in the Tyne Valley now.

The service was great and quite fast. The waiters were very polite and always made sure there was water at the table and they could be as helpful as they can. The food was excellent and so flavorful. Even if the portions are quite small, the taste is rich and it makes you full regardless. The food presentation was stunning and I'd definitely come back again.

The recent refurbishment means the Beaumont Hotel is now one of my favourite places to eat. The internals are clean and furnished and is a really nice place just to sit. The food is excellent and I throughly enjoyed my experience. Highly recommended :)

Newly improved Beaumont Hotel offers gourmet food at it's finest. There were exciting flavours and choices for both meat lovers and vegetarians. My preferred meal out in Hexham by miles.

We love this hotel! Beautiful building in a great location right opposite the Abbey and park. Spacious rooms with a great walk-in shower. Lovely cooked breakfast with a great choice of cereals, yoghurt and fruit etc. We drank tea and that was the only disappointment as it wasnt served hot enough and lacked the flavour of premium teas normally served at this type of establishment. This in no way affected our overall experience though and I would absolutely stay there again!

First class restaurant within hotel setting. One of the best I've tried outside London. I'd come back to Hexham just to eat here again. Used to be Best Western but now privately owned and staff first class to go with the food!

My family had decided to eat out on Christmas Day 2017. This was a first for us all, so we were uncertain what to expect. We contacted the Beaumont and were given the opportunity to peruse the menu in plenty of time prior to making our booking. I am a very picky vegetarian and so contacted the hotel personally to discuss my limited palette! On two separate occasions I spoke with Sarah and Roger who were both brilliant and helpful. My likes and more importantly my dislikes were discussed and an individualised menu was created to suit me! Sarah stressed that the most important thing for them was that I enjoyed my day — I thought that was such a lovely sentiment to have, and sadly is so often missing in the world of business today. Christmas Day was really lovely. We were made to feel welcome. The service was very professional but friendly and relaxed at the same time. We were there for about 4 hours and the food just kept on coming! My meal was gorgeous and just what I had ordered. I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff for making our day special.

Very nice room. Spacious. Well furnished. Shower could be more powerful but bathroom was lovely. Cooked breakfast expensive and medium sized portion, but good quality. Parking very limited. Hexham is very attractive.

Located just outside the centre of the main shopping area. The rooms are spacious with plenty of plugs! Beds are a little on the uncomfortable side. Over all it was a pleasant place to overnight.

An absolutely lovely place to stay, very welcoming and cosy, run by a family who are passionate about what they are doing. Restaurant is a hidden gem — food tastes as good as it looks! Overall, nice decor, great location and excellent customer service. I would highly recommend it to anyone (whether travelling with family, alone or as a couple).

Lovely three course meal with a glass of red to help aid digestion. Helpful staff, we will be back.

First time here Can't praise it enough Very now with the decor Food is beautiful. Alough if your a big eater it may be small and leave you a bit hungry. But the quality can't be denied. Try the souffle it's amazing as is the chocolate fondant. Give it a go.

It was fine, but not 'stand out'. I ordered a sandwich and it was standard sliced loaf, salted beef and a side salad that may have been fresh a couple of days prior. Overall, I was underwhelmed based on what I would have expected from this type of hotel.

Enjoyed a great night as one of a group of about 30. The atmosphere was very friendly and the food and service was high quality. The portions were on the small side which is why I have not given a5☆. Good value for money. Would recommend and will be coming again!

Visited the hotel for dinner only. They currently have a 3 course menu for £15 which is amazing value and really beautiful food. The restaurant has been recently renovated and looks great.

Back yesterday from a three night stay with a group of 40 U3A members. Excellent service from cheerful and considerate staff. Highly talented chefs working in an open kitchen. This hotel was bought by new owners last autumn and since then, it has been undergoing refurbishment to a high standard. We were completely unaware of the works going on during the day. There was not a single complaint from any of our members and they all said they would like to go back (actually, they didn't want to come home! ).

I'm so impressed with what the new owners are doing to this lovely building. The way it is already coming together, Hexham will be lucky to have such a stunning hotel. They all seem to work endlessly yet tirelessly to keep guests happy, the service is spot on. Compliments to the chef, it's one of my all time top 5 restaurants! Now listed on the highly recommend page for places to eat in my B&B guest recommendations book. Brilliant.

Tremendous turnaround The hotel has undergone a number of recent changes for the better. Meeting/dining rooms are lovely. The restaurant (open to the public) is busy. The food has improved in leaps and bounds and is really nice quality cuisine. I was here for a meeting but will be back with family.
