This is a very high standard B@B and our room was lovely and had all the historical features with a beautiful fireplace, lovely high ceilings, etc. The bedding was luxury and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was also to a high standard. Well worth the money.

I was pleasantly surprised. On first impression I was disappointed to see I could not park on the premises but was very quickly assured I could be provided with a parking permit. On entry, I was welcomed with the immediate offer to carry my bags. No formalities, just friendly welcome. Room was clean, bit like home from home. Cooked Breakfast was AMAZING and sure lives up to it’s credit and the owner really takes time to make sure you are not a number but a guest! It is on a corner of main road and I was concerned that traffic noise may have been an issue because I was here on business! No problem because even with window open it was quiet and only 5-10 mins walk from centre with some exceptional restaurants within 5 mins walk. My only observation is that some attention should be paid to bathroom fittings because although the bathroom furniture and shower pressure is fab, the tap, towel rail and other fixtures were loose. I would recommend this place. I was on top floor but not too many stairs.
