Stayed for a few nights lovely hotel, food is beautiful and the staff are so kind and welcoming. The only downside I found was the bed was not very comfortable but otherwise perfect place! x.

Breakfast after a lovely Sunday morning walk. Fantatsic, friendly service and excellent value for money. This will be a regular stop.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Had yet another lovely visit to the Falcon Hotel for the wife's birthday. This time however we were able to take our little sausages Digby & Hamish who had a fantastic time also. Can't thank the staff enough or recommend them any higher. We love this place and hope to return soon. As always the staff, accommodation and food never disappoints. Thankyou all again. Wow! My friend booked us in here last night for a treat for my birthday and it was simply wonderful. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and had everything and more that you could possibly need. We had an evening meal in the coachmans bar which was amazing and the waiter (I'm so sorry I can't remember your name) gave me a lovely birthday card on behalf of the hotel. Our room was right next to the secret garden, which took my breath away. This garden is stunning and steeped in history. Breakfast was wonderful, fresh and locally sourced, and had as much as you could wish for. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming, they couldn't do enough for you. Thank you for a truly spectacular stay, I can't wait o come back.

Delicious food and good service. Always make sure we head for the Falcon Hotel when we visit Bude.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. Food is great. Have eaten each night in the Coachman's Bar. Food portions extremely generous.

Nice quiet atmos', simple but well cooked food. Choice is a bit limited at the moment, but this is Covid related as staffing is a struggle.

Lovely hotel and restaurant — we ate outside because we had pooch with us.
We literally just turned up with no booking and the food selection too was good, the quality of food was excellent too!
Definitely be back when we are next down snd in town!

Lovely afternoon tea with friends celebrating their Diamond Anniversary. Plenty too eat and very nice quality. Staff were very friendly and gave great service.

Went for lunch wife ordered Chicken and bacon pie with seasonal veg. The seasonal veg was garden peas. The chicken was over cooked and dry the pastry was too thick. Will definitely not be back only good thing was the staff.

Good food can be a bit noisy until 7.00 live music. Bit good central spot and staff great. Room not generous with toiletries.

Excellent room (superior double), masses. Of space, spa bath, big bed. Excellent food both in the bar & for breakfast in the restaurant. Staff accommodating & polite.

Food good and beer. Not as good as it used to be. Blackboard menu used to be great. New menu a bit lifeless. Bar staff used to be great. Saturday night they have moody kids behind bar. Bit disappointing.

Got married at The Falcon Hotel in July 2016 and the wedding coordinator and all the staff made sure the day went smoothly and as we wanted. All the staff are friendly and the hotel has a very welcoming feel about it, the rooms were comfy and spacious. Been back for our 2nd wedding anniversary and still the staff are nothing but friendly, exceptional service and food was amazing. Will be visiting again soon.

Great fish and chips with splendid views of the canal and sea. Lovely outdoor area and friendly staff. Order at the bar but food delived to you and you feel looked after by the staff. Great during a sunny day.

Struggling to find somewhere to eat on a late Sunday afternoon we decided to try the Falcon. Lovely late lunch, fabulous homemade fish pie. Good prices. Very friendly staff.

Ordered a Sunday roast for 4, our food arrived at the table in less than 5 minutes of ordering. Delicious and lots of it. Really well organised and the staff were very friendly.

Popped in for an early evening meal. Seated and served by Alan — what an absolute star. So friendly and very helpful with a disabled member of our group. Food was great too. We will definitely be back.

Staff are absolutely amazing and helpful. But food is lovely but don't have ceaser salad £8.50 for a bowl of lettuce 1 boiled egg 4 anchovies 6 croutons… £1.50 for salmon real let down didn't complain ad staff so helpful.

Lovely hotel over the New Year. Room could do with being refurbished but comfy and warm with lovely bathroom. Public areas downstairs had recently been refurbished. Staff were attentive and interested in you and nothing was too much trouble. Family owned. Would recommend. Food in the bar was very good. New Year taster menu was fantastic and designed by a Masterchef winner.

Booked afternoon tea for my mom and sister in law for a Christmas present, as we came here in the summer and loved it. Turned up at the hotel only to realise that I had booked the wrong hotel for afternoon tea! That said the staff did everything they could to make sure we still got our afternoon tea. Couldn't thank them enough. They went above and beyond — from the waitress who served us, to the reception staff to the bar tender and the chef who managed to whip it up! Afternoon tea was just as lovely, and the staff deserve recognition for their professionalism and can do attitude. Many thanks to the falcon hotel bude Cornwall.

The whole experience has been exceptional, incredibly helpful and courteous staff, beautiful setting overlooking a quayside area of the canal and beautiful rooms. The meals have been superb, presented beautifully without any fuss if you alter the menu to your own liking. A brilliant stay in a lovely hotel.

Really poor. Liver undercooked, red raw! Medium steak overcooked! Rice dish soggy. Childs fish & chips were OK. Staff friendly and helpful. But had to have a meal sent back to the kitchen, so therefore did not eat with the family. Waste of time and a lot of money. Very disappointed. The pub next door was fully booked, the Falcon was half full. Speaks for itself.

Excellent food. Great staff. Superb location. High tea in the Green Room was a lovely experience (the best chocolate eclairs ever! ) Dinner in the Coachman was wonderful. Extremely tasty Paella.

A beautiful hotel with the friendliest of staff. We went to The Falcon for a wedding which was run superbly by the team. Nothing was too much of a problem and always with a smile. Excellent food too on the Wedding Day and subsequently in the pub next door (also owned by The Falcon).

Always great food and atmosphere, speed is good and can't really fault much :)

We have only experienced the bar but found a friendly and knowledgeable bar tender who helped a difficult evening turn magical.

In a beautiful spot 5 mins to the beach, 5 mins to the town great hotel.

Is a good hotel with good staff and management I'd recommend this hotel to anybody I stayed there for four days and we'll go back at some time thoroughly enjoyed my stay this is the best hotel I've stayed in so far special mention to the manager restaurant and the staff.

Didn't ask me how I wanted my steak cooked and massively over cooked it with rude service.

Been staying here for many years now in early September. A most beautiful time of year to enjoy the delights of the North Cornwall Coastline. Hotel facilities are good. Rooms well appointed with lovely bathrooms. Private terraced gardens with sunbeds. Food served either in the Coachmans Bar, or in the air conditioned Tennyson's Restaurant. Whichever you choose, the menu choice is varied and yummy. Cannot rate this privately owned, family run hotel highly enough. Great friendly staff. Love it, Love it, Love it.

We decided to eat in Bude on Saturday night (16/05) myself, my wife and friends were staying about 20mins away whilst visiting from Oxford. By chance we came across this hotel and decided the menu looked really nice so took a chance in the restaurant. This turned out to be a very positive selection! The menu covered a wide range of different cuisines and we were not disappointed when the food arrived. Lovely restaurant setting, great service, relaxing atmosphere and the food was outstanding. We would visit again and the quality/very reasonable price made this a very enjoyable evening.
